This property was absolutely wonderful. The property managers had all the information to us so we could walk right in when arrived. They were a delight and extremely responsive. As we walked in the property was clean, warm and welcoming with beautiful views of the beach. The location is prefect, we were able to walk out the back door to shark teeth hunt and close to historic downtown Fernandina to shop or eat. Our first night the weather provided Gale force winds. While windy outside; inside was quite, peaceful and comfortable. We will utilize this property in the future for our trips to Fernandina Beach.

The location of the property was amazing, however, the unit itself is in need of updates/repairs. The unit was not properly cleaned when we arrived (there were crumbs on the counter, couch and outside table), the front door needs new weather stripping - the wind was coming thru the door sounding like a freight train. The screen on the slider had a large tear in it so we couldn’t leave the slider open, there was no umbrella (as promised in the listing) however the property management company dropped one off the next day (couldn’t use it because of the wind and the umbrella was a bit flimsy). We used the electric broom it didn’t appear to be working so I turned it over to see if the bristles were spinning and everything in it blew out onto the floor (it was totally full). YouTube tv was included in the rental but we were not able to sign into it and called the management company but didn’t hear anything back. The lounge chairs on the deck needed cushions - very uncomfortable. Hopefully these issues are addressed for the next renters.

The home was very comfortable with a great view from the porch, ideal for seniors who can still climb a few stairs.

Very good. One suggestions; the place needs new beach chairs. Not a problem but almost all are rusted out. Small detail but I thought the owners should know. Thank you again, Ray Donovan

Quick three day trip to the area for work and a little R&R after. Property was in a great location, easy access, clean and well equipped. Could use a new sofa, maybe a recliner, but it severed its purpose and I would stay here again.

the view was great. the interior was tired, needed new carpeting and furniture. king size bed was like a marshmallow

You can watch the sunrise right from the patio, and listen to the ocean waves. The kids have the wonderful beach right in front of the door. A beautiful place to stay at. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. Very easy check in and out. Right on the beach! That was the best part. We really enjoyed it and will stay here again ne t time.

The condo was clean, neat and welcoming. The unit is very light and airy. The view is gorgeous and walking on the beach is as close as down the stairs, a short walkway over the first dune and then a path in the sand over the second dune to the beach. The complex is just nine units with plenty of parking. A great place to enjoy the beach, the ocean, and to just relax.

The view is absolutely to die for, such a quiet peaceful place. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.

This was a perfect relaxing girls getaway! The place is beautiful and location so close to beach was awesome! We rode bikes into town and enjoyed a sunset picnic on the beach!

The location of the condo was excellent. It was close to Fernandina (town) on a nice strip of beach. The only major drawback is that the carpet in the two bedrooms had spots. When we told the management, they said they had tried to clean them, but couldn’t so they were contacting the owners about replacing them. This should have been done before renting the place to us. There were also a couple broken beach chairs that needed to be disposed of. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect vacation spot to slow down, relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on the beach.

The Captain's House was always my parents favorite place to stay before they bought a house and moved to the island. I had stayed there many times with them. It was as I remembered it. I loved being on the top floor on an end.

Property was beautiful. Has all the amenities one needs. My only concern was the lack of privacy when you are out on balcony. It is shared by all three rental units on third floor. I wish the balcony was private. All the other renters pretty much can hear any conversation you are having since they are literally arms length. Other than that it was an amazing vacation. One will will never forget!! Definitely recommend!

We had a great time at the beach, it was our first time oceanfront and it awesome! The ocean sounds and sights was well worth it. Much time was spent on the beach and in the water, the beach was great, not crowded at all! The condo fit us very well and was a great place to relax and enjoy surfside. All the needed beach chairs, umbrellas were provide, enough for our family of 4. The stairs took getting used too but by end of week they were no problem. Thanks to all those before us providing a great source of info about Amelia island and the condo they really made it easy and we knew what to expect. We had a great time! Thank you!

The location of this cute condo was perfect. Convenient beach front access, and we were able to walk to a couple of restaurants that served delicious fresh seafood and played live music. We rented bikes and rode to nearby downtown Fernandina, which had cute shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Captain’s House was perfect for 2 couples to enjoy a long weekend. We enjoyed the ocean view from the porch. Plenty of beach at our doorstep without any crowd was a delight.

Right on the beach! Beautifully appointed with everything that you need. Bring your clothes and food and never have to leave. Nice sun deck. Beautiful views of the beach from inside.

Great oceanfront property. Quiet and close to the beautiful downtown area with lots of restaurants and shopping. Top floor condo makes it super quiet.

Everything wonderful. Wasn’t a fan of sharing the deck area with other folks. But still all good. No worries. Was a great place to stay , clean couldn’t ask for anything nicer. Would 100% rent again in the future .

Not enough characters available for me to convey to readers how amazing our stay was last week. Unbeatable location, the Atlantic is your perennial view and soothing sound. Close to everything. Either a short walk or drive to everything. The unit itself is so well appointed and just perfect!

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway. The stairs were a little much for my parents as we stayed on the top floor but they made it and had a great time.

I’ve stayed at the captains house before in a different unit- the best beach view and location to Amelia’s historic town. Very quiet and relaxing.

Communication was great, check in and out was a breeze. The apartment was exactly as listed, in a great location. Would definitely rent again!

The condo was spacious and well equipped. The beach access was so fantastic and the beach is quiet and not crowded. We enjoyed dining in the historic downtown that is just a short drive from the condo. We would definitely rent this property again!
