Check-in was the most personal of ANY place I’ve ever stayed, with personal communication, as well as someone meeting you at the ferry to show you the way to the condo. (If you’re driving those insane St John hills, ALWAYS come/go the way they show you…the other way in/out is so steep, it is scary to drive or walk!) The condo is definitely a little trek with the steps and steep hills, but we are in our mid 40’s & it didn’t bother us. There were multiple sized coolers & beach equipment provided. The closest beach is a bit of a drive, but there’s actually water close by, which makes for amazing pics (see my FB backdrop-that’s at the bottom of the hill from the condo-1 block away!) and the bay views from the condo are breathtaking. We walked to town several times & I would recommend others do the same early in the trip to become acclimated to the streets, as St John doesn’t mark streets much, at all-other than the 2 main “highways” that run through the island. Staying here vs a resort definitely gives you more of a mix between vacation vibes and local life, but that’s what we prefer on our trips. The condo is beautiful, extremely clean, with cold AC & a nice sized space for a small group to share. We had 3 adults, but it definitely could accommodate up to 6 if needed. (1 shared bathroom) the hosts/owners were absolutely amazing, and not only met us at the ferry upon arrival, but also came at 9:30 pm the very next night to immediately address a minor issue with the condo (the lock batteries died, not their fault-it happens, but they got out of bed & immediately came & fixed it for us). I’d recommend this place to stay again!

This apartment was great! Very comfortable for 3 adults, beds were great, AC was strong, and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. it is definitely walkable to town, if you're equipped to handle some pretty steep hills. Same goes for cars - not 100% necessary, but if you do rent a car, go for a 4-wheel drive. I rented a sedan out of St. Thomas and could barely make it out of the neighborhood this unit is located in because the hills are so steep. But! Worth it for the views of Cruz Bay!

Let me just say, that I was very impressed with the check in process for our stay at Conch Villas. We were greeted by members of Kelly's team at the ferry, who than showed us our way to the villa. They even helped us with our bags, and were happy to give us all the ins and outs on St. John. That experience was so helpful for us to kick off our trip after a long day of travel. The unit is exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, with touches of Caribbean decor throughout. The ornate wood vaulted ceilings make the unit feel very spacious. Yes, there are some stairs to get up to the unit. But its doable, even for my 75 year old father that came with us. The kitchen is very well stocked, with just about every appliance needed. The beds were comfortable, AC was in working order, and ample hot water. Our only negative experience, really isn't on the unit or anything that we feel Kelly can control, there is a multi level unit behind Conch Villa, and if those guests choose to sit out on their decks and talk, laugh or sneeze, you're going to hear them in the bedroom like they are in there with you while trying to sleep. To help drown them out, we had to sleep with ear plugs, so bring those just in case there are some guests in those units. The views from Conch Villa are beautiful, and offer some amazing sunsets. Not too many roosters come near the unit, and we got a visit from goats one day. It was a great experience here!

The interior is very nice and the views are outstanding. The kitchen was sufficiently well-stocked and the laundry room worked out just fine. It was especially convenient to have beach chairs and a cooler to take on our excursions. The air conditioning also worked great. The only issue I had is that there is a ten-minute walk to town which passes through some very dumpy sections (we tried two different routes). Some people might not feel safe on this walk. The surrounding roads are also insanely steep (the steepest I have ever seen), but there is a roundabout way to maintain a moderate grade.

Walking distance to downtown, amazing views, clean and comfortable. What more could you ask for!

This property was exactly as advertised. Was beautiful. Excellent views. The host and her on island team were quick and efficient with communication. The stay was very enjoyable and the Villa had every amenity that we would need, including: pots, pans, coffee, maker, refrigerator, blender, etc. I stayed with my parents who are both in their mid 60s. They were able to manage the stairs with a short break in the middle. As the property description advertised this, they expected it and had no issues or concerns with this. The walk into town may be difficult for some folks. We really enjoyed the provided chairs and coolers. Would recommend this property to anyone so long as they have the physical capability to climb stairs.

this place was amazing, big and very clean. balcony has the perfect sunset location. near several restaurants and a grocery store. located 10 to 20 minutes away from some of the best beaches in the world. I would recommend this location to people traveling with families or groups.

We had an excellent stay at this property. Kelly and her team were very accommodating and helpful. It was a bit of a steep walk into town but Kelly was able to provide us with two taxi drivers #. Ricky and Chico who were absolutely amazing as well.. please use them on your trip, very responsible. Her property is stacked with majority household items you will need. I felt we were at home away from home. Again thank you for a lovely stay!!!

Kelly’s place was great! The location is a 10-15mn walk to downtown (although a bit hilly given the makeup of the island). It has a great view of the water from the porch, which was our favorite part. Kelly was very responsive and the unit was clean and well kept. We had 5 adults in the unit, and while 4-6 fit, it’s a bit cozy with more than 4.

This villa has a very nice tropical vibe. Good location, within walkable distance to downtown but still quiet. We had a great stay.

This was our first time visiting St John, and the whole process with Conch Villa was amazing. The Villa was very clean, and had a great feel/decor. The air conditioning kept things nice and cool. The sunset views are unbelievable! Kelly was there to greet us right off the ferry and got us a cab ride to the Villa. The Villa is up some steep hills, and there are a lot of stairs up to the Villa itself. But we had no problem walking to Cruz Bay the rest of the week. (The location is great) Kelly also did grocery shopping for us so we arrived to a full refrigerator. Overall we had a great experience and cannot wait to return.

The condo was just as described — nicely decorated, beautiful sunsets and great location. Yes, it’s a little bit of a hilly walk into Cruz Bay, but we’ll worth it to avoid parking and traffic issues! Kelly was a great host who provided a lot of the essentials for a tropical vacation - beach chairs, umbrella and coolers! Nothing beats the beaches on St. John. We will be back!!

Renting was very nice and relaxing. Need to have a car otherwise it is a significant climb to get to the house.

My wife and I loved Conch Villa Vista. Kelly the property manager was awesome, anything we needed from small problems to an idea for lunch, she helped out with right away. It was very clean all around. The neighborhood is on the side of a hill, so we got in a little extra exercise on our nightly walks to and from Cruz Bay. The views from the porch and balcony were marvelous. A/C was fast to cool down when we got home, but even the 76 we put it at was cool after our walks back. Washer and dryer were new and worked well. We'd recommend to anyone.
