We stayed 9 nights. The location is ideal. The place does need a fresh coat of paint in the high traffic areas, and for the price, definitely some upgrades to the upstairs bathroom. The bathrooms are small but this was expected. Beds are comfortable, but the upstairs air conditioners are very loud. The kitchen was wonderful and well stocked. Gonzalo is great! He’s attentive but not overly and very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. Close to everything we wanted to do and also to public transit options. Nice that there were so many bedrooms so we could spread out. Communication with owner was great.

Overall, we had a great stay. Location was excellent for seeing most sites in DC. The unit worked very well for our group of 4 adults and 2 teens. The owner was very accessible. He responded to all our requests and was very accommodating. Some minor issues to note, AC units on the top floor were noisy but they did work to keep it cool. The kitchen was generally well stocked but could use a larger frying pan and some measuring cups were missing but we were able to make do. We would be happy to stay there again.

I took my daughter and one of her friends to DC for a quick Museum excursion. Gonzalo and Luisa are terrific hosts (attentive), and their home is as advertised. Our only regret, we didn't stay longer!

Clean and well located. Close to national mall,Safeway and the Southwest neighborhood shuttle (free) that gets you to the central part of the mall. Also very close to the Warf waterfront restaurants. Parking location in Vrbo description is incorrect. It’s on I Street at the west end of the building.

Ideal location for easy access to museums, monuments and the Wharf! The home was nicely situated for our family—kids through grandparents —and had enough room for all to stretch out and relax. The kids loved their room and the toys and books. The family room is on the second floor which took some getting used to as was less convenient to visit while cooking. The owner had great communication at any time we needed as we had a few questions along the way. Our questions were how to work the TV and how to locate parking upon arrival…overall—very Friendly and responsive! As others stated, it could probably use a fresh coat of paint and a carpet shampoo to keep it fresh—but otherwise it was great and we would consider staying here again!

First the positives, great location with off-street parking. The unit has decent space, but is oddly configured. Unfortunately, the kitchen felt a bit like a cave, with only one small window, because the adjacent living room, with an outside space, beyond it, was for some reason blocked off. A ‘living room’ of a sort was on the second floor in one of the bedrooms. While the unit seemed clean, it was really shop worn, especially the halls, stairs and carpets. The photos must be old. Parts of it would be vastly improved with a simple coat of paint, including the front door. It’d make a better first and lasting impression. The worst part was the HVAC. To change temperature, you need to contact the owner! Especially in the summer, when temperatures fluctuate, you want the opportunity to fine tune the temperature. Worst of all, the top two bedrooms, and not shown in the pictures, each had a large, unsightly in-room (not window) air conditioner that was so loud it rendered the room unfit for occupation. The final night we had to abandon that floor as it was too hot without A/C and too loud with it. The owner seemed quite nice. His unit could be a real great rental, likely commanding more per night, with some investment to open the ground floor living room, paint the front door and circulation spaces, replace the carpet, and solve the HVAC problem. As it is, we would not return.

This property was perfect for a group of 6 attending a graduation in DC. Walking distance to the Wharf District and the National Mall. Check in was easy. Host was available if we needed anything. Parking spot with the property was a nice bonus.

Loved staying here, would for sure do it again if available.

The house is perfectly located for visiting all the sites and a short walk to to the wharf to catch a drink or dinner after a day of sight seeing. Highly recommend.

Great location! The house was perfect!

Great stay, no problems at all! The location was very convenient as we were able to walk to work at the National Archives. Plus lots to do/see in the neighborhood, all in walking distance. The off-street parking space was also really nice.

Home was great for our family short trip to DC. Being able to walk to the Wharf area (ate dinner there every night) and the major DC attractions was perfect.

Gonzolo’s home offered a perfect location just a couple blocks from the WHARF area offering food, entertainment, etc. It was also an easy walk to the National Mall, Spy Musuem and Bible Musuem. We enjoyed spreading out across 3 floors! Home was clean and well stocked! We added on basement rental for our friends and it works great for them! Parking is super close and easy!

This charming townhouse is located in the perfect place for a great visit to experience DC. It is close to everything, grocery store, restaurants, major attractions on the National Mall, and transportation. The owner is friendly, and very responsive. We'll book again in the future.

Perfect location to explore what DC has to offer. The wharf is minutes away and the national mall is walkable, although with small kids we took advantage of the free southwest DC shuttle. The house itself was great for our family, thank you!

Everything was perfect. The house is in a great location. Only 2 blocks from the Wharf and less then a mile from the National Mall. Having a free parking space off of the street was terrific. Gonzales was very kind to stop by and check in on us during our stay. We had everything we needed except an out door space which was blocked off. The third floor bathroom needs a little updating but everything worked. I will keep this place in my files for next time! Thank you!

Location and parking were very convenient

We had a great time in Washington, DC. This townhome is located in a great spot within minutes of the Wharf and an easy walk to the Mall. We had an issue with the dryer, and the host responded immediately. Overall, wonderful stay.

Our rental on another site was canceled very, very last minute for our family vacation to DC. Ourselves and 4 kids ages 8-24, we had 6 flights, tour tix, museum tix, and a very important extended family event at DCA that Monday. So, we were in a scramble. This home was SO much better, the location is perfect! You have pretty easy access to two Metro stops and since we did not have a car, planned to Metro (and scooter) everywhere. If you haven't been to the Wharf, it's great for couples and families and we ate there a few times, met family there, and walked the pier. Our flight in on Friday landed at 8am, since check-in is not until 4pm, our host graciously held our bags for us. This was a huge relief because we really did not know what we would do. The house was clean and there was enough space for everyone to have their own bed/couch. The kitchen was well stocked and Safeway was not too far of a walk away so we could save some money by eating at home a time or two. The downsides are the beds aren't the most comfortable, no fans in rooms and it got HOT, the mobile AC units helped but were incredibly loud. Like, really loud. Overall I highly recommend this host and this stay.

This home could not have been more perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of space for everyone and the location cannot be beat! It's in a quiet residential block but steps away from the wharf and under a mile from the National Mall. Home was well appointed and even had toys for the kids to entertain themselves with. The owners were easy to work with. I can't say enough about how great this home is!

Easy check-in. Very attentive hosts ensured we had an easy time during check in and check out. Very responsive when we had to contact them during our stay. Location is great. Close to the Washington Mall and all the memorials and museums. Also close to the wharf with great restaurants. We highly recommend this for anyone visiting DC.

The house was fabulous and perfect for our needs. It was very comfortable and convenient for our group. The location is exceptional with good access to every event and activity we wanted. We're excited to come back soon and look forward to staying there again.

This is a nice townhouse in a great location. Short walk to the Wharf and nice restaurants. Walkable to the monuments and most museums. Having a parking space close by was a real plus as we drove into the city. I recommend this property.

Property is ideally located. Twenty minute walk to the Mall and Monuments, and five minutes to The Wharf - which we frequented almost daily during our stay!

The apt. was in a great location and came with parking. However, the apt. was an older, dirty version of the photos. Kitchen was nice, but having the back of the 1st floor locked was a bummer and let no light in and gave no reason to hang out in the kitchen or on the first floor. Up stairs/living room had dirty carpets and furniture. One of couches had a bad smell. Behind the couches there were used Qtips and dirty makeup removal cloths. Needless to say, we tried to stay out all day and just sleep there. Bathrooms were small and not particularly nice to be in. This could be a great rental if the owners put some money back in and opened up the first floor for hanging out. I wanted to cancel my reservation, but hotels were booked in the area. Overall, poor rating. I let the owners know, but they never responded or offered a remedy or apology. Will not see you next time.
