The property is in a great location. With a short walk to the beach. Had everything we needed for our stay. Ed The owner was very kind and made our stay very enjoyable. I would recommend this location

I don’t know where to start on my review of this property. It was amazing from start to finish. Our host Ed started communicating a few days in advance of our stay to make sure we had all questions answered and all info we needed. His communication through the duration of our trip was top notch. We were welcomed with beautiful roses and a personalized card, stocked fridge with water, cheesecake, veggie tray, fruit, breads, ice cream, breakfast items, etc. The kitchen had everything you could ever need-ziplock bags, disposable cups/plates/silverware, coffee, sugar, flour, oil, etc. We never had one thing come up that we couldn’t find. Every sheet, towel, blanket smelled like fresh laundry—you didn’t have to wonder about cleanliness at all. The location was amazing. Just a short walk (2-3 mins) to the beach. Grocery store very close by. Comfortable furniture and beds. Ed was by far the best host we’ve ever had, and we would 100% stay here again. This place is a true hidden gem!

This rental is totally undersold online! The photos make it look dark and dingy but it’s such a great little place! There was plenty of room for my family of 5 to spread out. Our beds were comfortable and the owner even left us snacks (and paper plates!!). We cooked a couple of simple meals and found everything that we needed in the kitchen. There are plenty of bath towels plus beach towels and toys. The backyard is so cute and secluded and the walk to the beach takes about 5 minutes (or less). When we had a problem with the toilet, the owner got maintenance out an hour later and fixed it. The owner is very attentive and seems to be available if you need anything. Next time, I’ll ask if he does airport shuttles! 😃 Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Property was all listed and more. Beautiful backyard which isn’t shown . Property manager was exceptional. Always right there to answer any questions and left so many special treats even roses for the renter!!

The vrbo listing needs to be improved, but the stay was lovely. The Oasis is a small, nicely appointed home of 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. It easily accommodated 6 adults, and we really enjoyed the welcoming flowers and food treats our host provided. Thank you!

Clean and 1 minute walk to the beach! Stocked with unexpected goodies. Everything we could have wanted for our short stay!

Our multiage family was very happy and comfortable during our week long Thanksgiving break. The distance to and accessibility of the beach was great. We enjoyed the area and found plenty of things to see and do with the kids.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was easy to enjoy, because of its home like qualities. Hope that we will be considered for future stays.

Great communication with our host when we needed it. Our grandkids enjoyed playing both inside and in the well maintained backyard. The house is older but it was clean and kitchen was stocked with all necessary items and well as some extras. Plenty of comfortable seating. It met the needs for our family. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Easy process with good communication with owner. At first didn’t understand owner simply needed a code for the front door via text. Stressed about how to provide a code through VRBO on line. House was more spacious than I thought and had everything needed to cook. WiFi did not work, but owner quickly remedied problem by having me turn the modem off then on. Master toilet touchy. Should be a note explaining to jiggle handle after each use. Comfortable beds. Noted that an extra blanket was stained and we weren’t sure if it was cleaned or just stained. Strange that it sleeps 6 but only 4 chairs for the kitchen table. Nice that there were 6 beach chairs. None of the problems were big enough to keep us from coming back to rent again in the future. Overall perfect place to rent for my family of 6!

We spent the weekend with our granddaughter. We found the property to be very clean and comfortable and the owner/manager to be very helpful. A beautiful bouquet of flowers and a bowl of fresh fruit welcomed us as well as a multitude of pantry and refrigerated items. The property is very close to the beach and in a quiet neighbourhood.

Would highly recommend this property especially for a beach loving family. The host was most generous and thoughtful in providing paper & plastic supplies, spices and practically everything needed to ensure a relaxing holiday experience. Imagine opening your freezer to find it fully stocked with all sorts of ice cream bars. Especially enjoyed the Red Roses that greeted us; thank you, Ed.

Just a block from the sand in a pleasant neighborhood, this house provided a relaxing hideaway during our stay in Ventura. Walking distance from shopping, eateries and bars and 5-10 minutes drive or so to Main Street or the pier. Well-stocked kitchen (including a freezer full of Klondike bars, bags of Pete's Coffee and more, as well as most utensils and dishware one would need), lush backyard, comfortable seating and bedding, interesting wall art, good water pressure, etc. Would recommend this spot to couples and small families seeking some sun and sand time.

Hospitality was above and beyond our expectations. Many great options for home amenities. Towels provided were very soft, host left some food and snacks for us in the fridge (and a TON of ice cream bars!!!). They welcomed us into their home with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and all home essentials were provided and right at our fingertips. Very comfortable house that has a nice little backyard (kids had fun playing hide and seek). About a 5 minute walk to the local bar, restaurants, grocery store, Starbucks, other local shops and of course the beach! We will definitely be coming back to Ventura and staying at this house. Owner was very responsive during the whole rental process and available whenever we needed him during our stay.

The pictures don't do it justice. It's very cute and has a "beachy" look inside. Cute little back yard for BBQ. The walk to the beach is as easy as all the other reviews say. The walk is down to the end of the cul-de-sac right to the beach. The only negative is that there are a lot of additional fees that hike up the nightly cost quite a bit.

Comfortable, not luxurious. Bring Paperplates. Nice backyard. New living room couches. Great if you have kids who like the beach.

This was the perfect place for my family to stay! We typically stay in a hotel and have to rent two rooms, because we have three older kids and two younger kids. This was about the same cost and was so much better than we thought it was going to be! My older kids loved it and my younger kids loved it, it worked or our whole family! We look forward to staying again and again! The owner was extremely communicative and helpful and provided all the instructions and answered any questions we had very quickly! There were plenty of amenities and a great back yard with a grill!! Don't even hesitate to stay here! We'll be back for sure! I want to live there!

If you’re looking for a getaway where you park the car when you arrive and don’t get back into it until it’s time to go home, this is the location for you. Steps from the beach, walking distance to a variety of restaurants, groceries and shops, and a bike or free trolley ride away from the state beach, pier or harbor village, this place has everything you need for a laidback beach trip. This casual, comfy beach bungalow had plenty of space for our family of 4, both inside and on the lovely back patio and yard. Beds were comfortable, with soft sheets, fluffy towels and well-appointed kitchen. But of course the best part is the beach. Great weekend getaway. Next time we’ll stay longer.

The kitchen is well equipped and we appreciated the wine, water and cakes left for us by the owner😊 The back patio is very enjoyable. Nice master bedroom. We missed having some lighting in the living room and were not able to enjoy it in the evening, but we mentioned it to the owner, I am sure he will take care of it. Great place for a family reunion with children

Our family had a great week. The owner is kind, accommodating, and available if needed. The place is kept well, and a block from the beach. What more could you want!

This adorable spot by the beach was 100% perfect for us! I live here in Ventura and booked it for family who were visiting—they couldn’t have loved it more. Quiet, safe neighborhood with lots of character and amenities within walking distance (grocery store, restaurants, bike path, downtown). But most of all—the beach! The best part for my mom was walking down to the sand to watch sunrise or sunset; that it’s just steps from the house absolutely made her trip. House has everything you need in the kitchen and bath, bedrooms are cozy, and the back patio with bbq grill is a great little bonus. Everything was clean, check-in/ checkout easy, and the host was very hospitable and quick to respond. Couldn’t recommend this rental more, and will certainly do so for other family and friends when they visit Ventura. Thanks Ed!

Great location. A two minute walk to a very nice, very uncrowded, quiet beach. Nice Master Bedroom, nice back yard for eating dinner. Private and quiet. Could use a light in the Living Room, but otherwise well-stocked Kitchen. Nice that they provided a gift certificate to a good, local restaurant that we used for brunch.

We had a great time. The house had everything we needed, the sun sits right where you want to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning, and once you walk down to the ocean you’re pretty much in heaven! Thanks Ed!!
