It was truly an amazing experience and one for the memory. From the sunrise to sunset, beach to pool and most of all the wonderful staff Choppy, Gloria and Jhenell … who accommodated us in every possible way. They are an amazing team and represented well. Friends and family are already interested in future stay at this location.

This was our 2nd stay at Seahorse Villa, and it didn’t disappoint. The staff is amazing. Brenda, the owner, is quick to respond to questions. It was very hot and humid, so we spent a lot of time in the pool. We had to move our game night into one of the bedrooms to take advantage of the AC. The house is in a gated neighborhood, and there is someone there 24-7, so we felt very safe. You can go wrong with this property.

Beautiful villa, incredible experience and the most arelaxing vacation. No where else have we been able to go from beach to pool to ocean in seconds. Ms. Gloria takes care of all meals and clean up which is an unheard of treat! Ms. Jhenelle kept the house beautifully clean and even did our laundry before we left. Choppie had our kayaks ready and kept us safe on property!! What we LOVED: Private pool Pool floats available Sand toys available Beach in a cove- Only about 10 other villas on the cove! The cooking and cleaning!!!! A/c in bedrooms Kayaks and paddle board and snorkels! Ocean life—sea turtles, crabs and fish Incredible sunsets Never had to leave Tons of games and books provided Comfy beds Spacious bathrooms Deadbolts and locks! Did I mention cooking and cleaning??? Amazing! Call-outs (not complaints! Just be aware!) -Bring bug spray—-you’ll get eaten! -Wifi doesn’t work well, don’t depend on it to do much more! My hubby had to use his hotspot to do his bit of work -Mr. Choppie is great, but a bit of a stickler. Be super cautious of the rules, especially if you have kiddos! -groceries and transportation are more expensive than you expect! Bring enough cash! -the water is wonderful but not the clear blue we experienced in Montego Bay. Again, not a complaint, just an fyi. - there is ac in bedrooms but not the main area! When we couldn’t play games outside, we had to play on a bed otherwise it got a bit toasty!

This home is a great place for family with kids, seemed very safe and away from everything for privacy. You have a private beach with about 6 homes that share the beach and very little activity so it private. The staff was wonderful too, Gloria will cook whatever you like, fried chicken, shrimp, locale favorites, all good. If you want to kayak, its perfect as the water is not rough. If you want to snorkel, its better at other places as the water is not clear here due to the fresh water river that runs into the bay. A little maintenance is needed as our safe was not working, although we felt we could trust the staff. Chappy is always on site so you can feel safe. Speaking of staff, be sure to bring extra cash as they recommend you to tip the staff at the end of the stay, anywhere from 10-15% of your rental.

We had the most amazing time in Jamaica! The owner answered all questions very quickly and thoroughly. The grocery process could not have been easier -- we had Gloria shop for us and the market came to the house with a credit card machine for us to pay. So so awesome to not have to worry about that. The house is gorgeous, and we loved being on our own private beach. Depending on what attractions you wants to visit, the house is in a very good location as it is pretty centrally located to many of the top attractions. The house is very well stocked (games, blender, full kitchen supplies) although they are a stingy with the beach towels. The pool is awesome and very clean. I took one star away for two reasons. The first, is not the fault of the owner but something I wish I had known. I booked over Easter. Turns out Easter is a VERY big deal on the Island with lots of parties. We did not sleep at all the first three nights because of parties and loud music from across the bay. The final night (the Monday after Easter Sunday) LOUD repetitive bass went until 4:00 a.m. (no exaggeration). However, after holiday, the house and area were silent at night and wonderful for the next 5 nights. So I think normally this is not an issue but if you are there over Easter beware. The other reason was the master bed -- the mattress is awesome and comfortable but the bed frame is ridiculously noisy. Every movement creates a loud creaking noise. We couldn't take it. We ended up sleeping in a different room. That all said though, we would definitely book Seahorse again. We had the trip of a lifetime and the house is so lovely. It was hard to leave paradise.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Seahorse Villa. Was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Gloria kept us well fed, Chappie does a bit of everything. Most importantly takes wonderful care of the guests, and Janelle kept the rooms clean and tidy. If you enjoy massages, ask Chappie to schedule a time to have Caroline come out to the Villa. She does a wonderful job as well! Thanks for making our stay amazing. Hope to be back in the future.

This place is amazing!! Super clean, super comfortable (especially the beds), 100% recommend! The staff is amazing and the owner was fantastic about responding quickly. Hope we can return one day!

If you're looking for a quiet private vacation home, this is it! The house is absolutely perfect, directly on the beach. Gloria, Choppie and Jhenelle are wonderful people. Gloria made sure our bellies were full with amazing home cooked meals, choppie took care of the grounds and security and made us a beautiful bonfire on the beach and finally Jhenelle made sure the house was always immaculate. Why go to a resort when you can have it all minus the crowds!!!!! Thanks again for everything!

Wonderful week in Jamaica. Seahorse is the perfect villa for relaxing. The staff was outstanding and to great care of us.

Our stay was amazing. The layout of the house was so nice. We really loved the outdoor sitting area... so much we all said a tv out there would have been nice at night time for when we weren't quite ready for bed and wanted the nice ocean breeze and to hear the waves yet. The pool was great to float around and loved the sound system to hook up to play music through your phone... note it only works for iphones so unfortunately my android did not work but we just used my sisters. The beds were very comfortable. The staff are all such hard workers and so friendly. Having the house, pool, and beach so close was truly amazing and spoiled us for every future vacation! Chappy does a great job to make sure you feel safe and was up at 6am every day raking the yard with a smile on his face. Dan and Brenda, the owners, were amazing and so helpful in answering the 100 questions i had...pry not exaggerating lol. This was our first time not staying at an all inclusive resort so I had so many questions for them and they never made me feel like a bother. The only thing we all said was we wish we were either closer to Montego Bay or Ocho Rio as it was right in the middle and a good 50 to 60 minute drive one way to go to either of them. We would definitely go back. Thanks for wonderful memories and a great new experience!!

Seahorse villa is a well layed out property that accommodates 2 couples very comfortably. The 2 major bedrooms have equal ocean views. It's location on Bengal Bay provides a secured access, beachfront experience with the most amazing views and a calm body of water suitable for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The staff and property itself met all our expectations. The Rio Bueno river runs into the Bengal Bay which brings sediment down into the bay especially after it rains. If your expectation is perfectly clear water, similar to Negril, then you will be disappointed. The upside to the situation is the amazing blending of cold and warm water. Also, there is a commercial dock on the west side of the bay so you may see a cargo ship in port while you are there. Nothing is perfect but this property is very close.

The property was beautifully maintained. The staff was extremely helpful, tentative and polite. We had an amazing couples weekend, and look forward to visiting again. Ms. Gloria prepared the most AMAZING food, Chappie was very courteous and helpful in every way. Andrea kept the villa clean and sanitized daily. Truly an amazing stay.

Wonderful house, wonderful staff. A real treat in a beautiful place which really gave us the chance to explore Jamaica on our own but come back to luxury and safety in the evenings! Highly recommend 😀

Seahorse Villa was a dream come true! The house, private beach, and incredible staff made this an unforgettable experience for our family. The food prepared by Ms. Gloria was delicious, especially the fried chicken, jerk chicken, and steaks. Breakfast was incredible with homemade French toast and pancakes. The pool was clean and refreshing. The beach was beautiful and calm. We loved swimming in the beach and using the kayak. There was some seaweed, but it wasn’t too bad. The house location is a little far from the bigger cities if you’re wanting to go on certain excursions, but it was worth it for us to have the safe, private beach for our young kids. The neighboring houses can be a bit noisy with loud music, but usually calms down at night. We loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Don’t know what else you can ask for. Beautiful house on a gorgeous stretch of beach with an amazing staff. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed this trip so much! Our group included 3 Adult couples and no children. The house was perfect. During the day we got to enjoy almost 360 views of the ocean and vegetation thanks to the doors and windows that all open up (temperature was amazing at all times). At night each bedroom has their own AC unit in which each couple got to control their own temperature, which was a luxury I never knew I needed. The very well-maintained outdoor pool being 10 steps from the ocean was icing on top. The staff is what truly made this trip so memorable. Our needs were catered to at all times of the day and night. The chef was able to provide authentic Jamaican food while still meeting any dietary needs for 3 meals a day. Concierge lives on property and takes care of security. We felt so safe. Housekeeping comes in every morning and thoroughly cleaned each room and bathroom. Housekeeping even provided laundry service. We couldn’t thank the staff enough when we left and still talk about them post trip. Only thing I would suggest to future groups. is to bring cash if you plan on doing any excursions away from the house. Some activities accepted credit cards, but it was not guaranteed that they would. If your group plans to have a relaxing vacation at the house than no cash is needed (except for tips), but if any excursions/activities will happen then I highly recommended to bring cash. American dollars is accepted and honestly seemed preferred. HIGHLY RECOMMENEDED

My family had a wonderful Christmas holiday at the Seahorse Villa! The staff was so kind and wonderful to us the entire week and the hosts, Brenda & Dan, were incredibly responsive and helpful through the whole process. The bonfire built by Chappy was definitely a highlight and the food Gloria made each and every day was delicious. Definitely recommend hiring Andrew as your driver for excursions and any needs you may have, he was a delight to be around! We hope to come back and visit sometime!

This is an unbelievable beautiful property. Sitting on essentially a private beach, in a gated community, I've never felt more relaxed. Chappie, Miss Gloria, and Andrea kept the clean, kept us well fed, and were there for anything we needed. You will not go wrong if you choose the seahorse Villa for your Jamaica vacation.

Seahorse Villa was so much more than we could have ever dreamed. This has been a dream vacation. I celebrated my 40th birthday with two other adult couples and we have no complaints. The description and pictures are 100% accurate. The beach was private we never saw anyone else. Pure relaxation and calm. I appreciated being off the grid. Andrea kept the house spotless. It was cleaner then any hotel I've ever stayed at. Chappy made us feel safe and secure. I love that he stays on property and really looks out for the guest. He put up with all our shenanigans with great humor. Ms. Gloria fed our souls and gave us true Jamaican comfort food. Let her do her best Jamaican dishes for dinner you won't be disappointed. We had food allergies and dietary restrictions and she accommodated us with ease. The owners are very responsive and answered all of my questions. We had several people still working remotely and they were able to utilize the wifi with few issues. Tips: Bring mosquito spray Have Gloria cook extra servings if you want leftovers for later in the evening Andrew was a great driver for airport transport but negotiate excursion rates in advance When you pay the grocery bill have them run your credit card in Jamaican dollars to get the better conversion rate Make sure to bring enough cash to leave tip for the staff. Get the massage!!!! The location is remote and about 45 min to an hour for most attractions

We experienced great Unforgettable Memories from the time we arrived until the time we left! The Staff provided great hospitality. We had ALL the comforts of home.. The property was beautiful providing a very relaxing experience. We were spoiled by Gloria our Cook, she served us delicious Jamaican dishes...yummy yummy and served the best Rum Punch! Andrea our housekeeper, cleaned the entire Villa daily & even washed our clothes. Our grounds keeper Chappy was fabulous. He took such good care of us keeping the grounds and pool clean, helping out the other staff and answering any questions we had.. He built us a Bonfire one night on the Beach. We called it our American Fireworks!! We also hired Andrew who took us on excursions and shared things about the Jamaican culture. A perfect tour guide. We definitely will return! The property was safe and secure in a gated community with a fence along the exterior. The house is well laid out with three nicely appointed bedrooms and a living area with nice decor that includes a bar that flows well into the outside pool/patio area. A nice four foot deep pool is a welcome break from the salt water. The beach is right there!! A nice Sandy beach looks out over the bay. The Staff are excellent!!!!!! Gloria made delicious food. She catered to our request and our allergy restrictions. Chappie kept the property clean. Andrea washed our clothes and made our beds and made the house look brand new every morning. Can’t say enough good things about the staff! They helped make the experience one of a kind. Andrew, the driver, took us where ever we wanted to go and was great at communicating with us. Brenda, the owner, was very helpful answering all our questions about food and covid protocols. Our only bit of constructive criticism would be the coffee maker didn’t work well and was slow to make poor tasting coffee. Overall, a five star experience and we would highly recommend the seahorse!

Location was perfect it is in a nestled area along the coast. The cleanliness is impeccable the Villa is warm and invited. Lots of local fruits. Rooms are perfect lots of lightning , beautiful views from all rooms. You can see local fishermen catching fish by hand and you are able to purchase directly from the sea.. A must stay!

Beautiful beach front with lovely tropical garden surrounding villa - just like the photos; kept immaculate throughout our stay, inside and out. Thank you Chappie and Andrea. Food was fresh, delicious - masterfully prepared by Bridget. Location is roughly between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, so plan on driving an hour or more to shopping, restaurants, fun parks.
