We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo itself was very nicely furnished and outfitted with everything you need. Plenty of towels were provided. The bedroom and bathrooms were very nice. The mattresses were high quality and in great condition. The pool for the development was beautiful and there were enough lounge chairs for everyone that wanted them.

We traveled with a dyalisis patient and Angie went above and beyond coordinating the delivery of our medical supplies to the condo.
Condo looks a lot better in person then the pictures and you get the best views.
We are definitely going to be back!

This is a beautiful condo with a gorgeous view. The furnishing are high quality and the kitchen is well appointed. Security at the gate is friendly and helpful. The pool staff is fun to chat with and the food is good. The marina is walkable with good restaurants and shops. When we wanted to leave the area we always got a tax within a minute. We’ve always stayed at the Marriott but this gave us more space and a nicer pool area.

I have so much praise for this VRBO rental. The unit and the resort are beautiful, modern and upscale.
The unit itself was tastefully decorated, well-furnished, and clean. Best of all, they provide a ton of extras you don’t usually come across in a VRBO. Soap, shampoo, lotion, condiments, pool toys, even a vitamix blender in the kitchen to make smoothies! It felt like home to us.
The property is top notch. Primarily owner occupied, the pool isn’t overrun. In fact we had plenty of room in the pools and hot tubs every day. There was no having to reserve the best beach chair. Just show up and take your pic. Even the private beach area was only us most of the time. This was during high season (first week of January). The other guests are very friendly. This was our first non-inclusive Mexico stay, and we won’t be doing AI again.
Finally, the location of the property was money. On the water on one side, and across the street was the access to the Marina. Tons of amazing restaurant options for reasonable rates. We had fine dining out at different restaurants all week.

Amazing stay, wonderful host
Angie was responsive, accommodating and easy to communicate with. She gave us all the information we needed and made us feel welcome and assured. Their property was clean and as advertised, and there were no issues at all during the whole stay.

Great location and nice property
We loved the location and that we were within walking distance to the marina, restaurants, shops, etc. The grounds and pool area were clean. Waiter service was a little slow at pool and there was no music allowed except in your earbuds…food was very inexpensive though and was good quality. We would stay again and would definitely recommend!

Great experience again!
We had a couple of minor issues. We could not find any trash bags - no real big deal, we just bought some. We also had trouble with the internet early on. Maintenance personnel got it resolved but continued to have “spotty” problems. Eventually a new modem was installed that fixed the problem.
All in all, response from the owners and maintenance was very good.
Again, a very pleasant stay!

I can't review the exact property because about a week before our stay the condo sustained water damage and we were unable to stay there. What I can say is that Angie went absolutely above and beyond to find another condo in the same complex that we could rent for the week! I was so thankful that we were able to find another condo in the Mariana Vallarta area. Angie communicated with the condo management to make arrangements for our stay and made everything very easy for us. I chose her condo because of the wonderful reviews and I have to say, I had a great experience with her. We had a lovely week!

Shangrila is a wonderful facility and Angie’s condo is fantastic. Great balcony with view of the pool and ocean. 3 full rooms and 3 full bathrooms. Just right for 2 couples and our 2 teens. Easy access to the Marina shops and restaurants. Cab to the Malecon if you want more adventure! Highly recommend!!

The resort is quiet with amazing views and amenities. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
This unit is in a great location. With a private beach and walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants and shops.

Fabulous Vacation!
Our family had a wonderful vacation at the Shangri-La Condominiums. Javier and Angie were so easy to work with and Javier greeted us even when our flight was 2 hours late...with PIZZA!!!. We have 4 teens(2 girls and 2 boys) and the condo was perfect. The 3rd bedroom was a little small, but our boys didn't seem to mind it at all. The pool was great, and we loved the staff and especially the pool grill/bar. We also enjoyed the location and proximity to the marina. We will definitely go back to Puerto Vallarta and the Shangri La! Thank you Javier and Angie for opening your lovely home to us.

A little bit of paradise in PV
Great location, great accommodations for 6 adults over 60. The small room with 2 twin beds was tight. The view was amazing. The deck was fabulous. We love the area which is walking distance to the marina. If the owner has any the penthouse for rent we would love to discuss that with him too.

Great location, Great views, nice condo, but 3rd bedroom was disappointing.
Great location, great views, and overall very nice condo, but 3rd bedroom was disappointing. Check-in was easy to this gated community. The views of the ocean and PV were great. The master bedroom was great and 2nd bedroom was nice, as was the living area and kitchen. The balcony off the living area was very pleasant, but the outdoor furniture need more seat cushions (just the chairs had them). The 3rd bedroom was located at service area off of the laundry. The two twin beds were unacceptably hard, and the bathroom shower sprayed water and needs to be changed. The noise level in that 3rd bedroom was high as there is closet of electrical equipment that made noise most of the time. Finally, the toilet areas in all the bathrooms had a noticeable bad sewer smell.
Overall, a great condo and location if you use the two bedrooms and not the third.

Another incredible vacation in Marina Vallarta and Shangri-La
Angie and Javier were fantastic to work with! Their unit at Shangri-La is wonderful! We have stayed at numerous units in Shangri-La, so have quite a bit of experience. Their condo is in fantastic condition and has everything you need for an incredible stay. The views are amazing and it’s super comfortable. On top of that, Angie and Javier were so accommodating and I could tell they truly wanted our experience to be perfect. There’s no doubt in my mind we’ll be renting this unit again. Thank you Angie! The four of us had a very nice time, the owners were very accommodating and the condo is wonderful. Also a great community, we used the beach front fitness center every morning, the pool is beautiful and not too crowded, wonderful view from our balcony, pleasant staff, and very secure. Location by the Marina is very convenient to numerous restaurants and shops. We would all highly recommend.

A beautiful condo and complex!
We really love the Shangrila. We have stayed there many times, this was the first at Angelica and Javier’s condo. We were warmly welcomed and Javier had some great shopping and restaurant tips for us. The condo was perfect for 2 couples. Beautiful decor, although we mostly lived on the balcony! The kitchen was well equipped. Great views of the bay. The pool is superb. I used the gym every day, so pretty overlooking the ocean. Also the beach bar for lunches and take out margaritas was fantastic! The only negative is all the extra, and in my mind excessive, charges- both from the owner and VRBO. In our past 6 rentals , cleaning ($85! USD) has always been part of the rental as has been a basic allowance for electricity, now another add on, without ever being told whether we used that amount of electricity or not. Plus VRBO now charges almost $300, for what I don’t know. So, the posted daily rental rate is just the beginning. And you aren’t advised until you have committed to the booking. So, I think I will look into AirBnB next year.

Condo was great and any issues we had during the weeks were addresses promptly.
Even though the condo was as expected, the staff at the pool was confrontational at times. Rules we thought we understood one day changed the next. Very frustrating for a guest when you have a limited amount of time to enjoy such a wonderful place. We were even asked if we were owners or guest. We assume rules are different for the two groups. Overall, enjoyed the week. By the way, the food and drinks at the on-site restaurant was wonderful. Great value!

Wonderful stay in PV
Shangri'la is a great place to stay in PV. This condo is just beautiful, very clean and has an amazing view. The owners are the best! So nice and easy to work with. We have really enjoyed meeting them. An overall wonderful get away from our cold midwest winters.

The Perfect Getaway!
Thank you, Angie and Javier! Your condo was exactly as advertised and you were terrific hosts. The suite was clean, nicely appointed, very comfortable and had excellent views. The pool was great and grounds were well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is fanastic with the marina, shops and restaurants so close by. It really was perfect for the six of us, my wife and me, our two grown sons and their girlfriends. We had a wonderful time!

Loved it! Great Family Vacation in Puerto Vallarta
We travelled to PV for a wedding with some family and our 1.5 year old daughter. Angie was an amazing host and pulled all the stops for us. Her husband and her personally greeted us upon our arrival with fresh flowers, a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates. She had a brand new portable crib and linens set up for our daughter and even went the extra mile and bought her an adorable puppy stuffed animal. The condo was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Although we only ate breakfast in the condo, the kitchen was fully stocked to cook meals. She provided travel size bathroom products for us in each bathroom - shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, lotion, and even baby shampoo! The views from the condo are breath-taking. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio and taking in the views and serene atmosphere. We absolutely fell in love with property, the grounds are kept pristine. The pool is one of the most amazing I have ever seen. It is always clean and the water is a sparking blue color. The pool is so large that at times it felt like we were the only ones there. There are many combinations of shallow and deep areas which is perfect for little kids to play and adults to lounge or swim laps. We were so happy by the pool that we never even want down to the beach, although there is easy access to the beach area and security by the beach gates at night. There is an on-site spa that we took advantage of daily - massages and facials. Lupita the masseuse is incredible and her services are very reasonably priced. There are cheaper spa services available across the street at the marina but there is nothing as convenient or relaxing as walking out of your front door and getting a massage. The food at the pool restaurant is good and also very reasonably priced. All in all we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. For us this was the perfect way to travel to PV and de-stress. Angie was a great host, very easy to work with and extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to all our friends!

Beautiful very clean comfortable beds great rain showers ac fans patio with ocean view. Restaurants in walking distance and very good options, Starbucks, open market on Thursday nights during peak season with vendors from all over, food options too so bring appetite, you can elect to simply relax or have an energetic active experience, your options especially when you have such a nice home away from home. Will be back!

Awesome location. Great views of the bay, marina and golf course
Our vacation was awesome. From the personal greeting by our host, who had a bottle of french red wine, to the unique location, just steps away from the Marina where you can find a wide variety of restaurants and bars. The swimming pool is beautiful and the beach is quiet and private. Overall a great experience
