Not too far from the coast, Great parking, Host had thought of everything!

The hosts were very friendly and approachable and made you feel so comfortable. Their attention to detail was appreciated so much. The dinner and breakfast we had were absolutely fantastic. We would have no hesitation in recommending this B & B to anybody visiting the Combe Martin area.

Andrew was there to greet us on arrival. He showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. Its the extra touches that mean so much. Soft fluffy towels, shower gel, toothbrushes, a little fridge containing water and fresh milk. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and a gift of fudge. Netflix on offer, as well as an Alexa. They really did think of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. An air-con machine was provided but not needed due to awful weather! We had also booked in for dinner. Great choice of menu and huge portions, beautifully cooked. Breakfast was a varied and thoughtful menu, along with a huge choice from the buffet. Andrew was the perfect host.

I really enjoyed staying at the lion house b&b, it was quiet and a relaxing place. The room was very spacious and had plenty facilities in it. The breakfast was plenty in the morning, and cooked really well.

Everything was on point! Service from Andrew was amazing and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodate my food allergies and even educate us on some of the people and history around Combe Martin! The room was everything we needed and bath room had all the bits you would expect.

I cant really say there was anything we "Didn't like" but if i could give any constructive feed back it would be, The fan wasn't quiet powerful enough to keep the room cool but it did enough to keep me happy lol. Secondly ( I understand why this is a rule) You cannot eat in the rooms, now I understand full blown meals but even snacks appeared to be banned and for someone that eats little and often this became a bit of a curse but it defiantly did not cause us to have a bad experience its just something that could have made it even better.

Andrew really is a ‘next level’ host. For those walking the Southwest Coast Path the Lion Head B&B is a bit off-track, but it’s worth the extra mile. The bath was very relaxing for our tired feet, and Andrew was looking after us perfectly

We had a really enjoyable couple of days, the room was perfect for what we needed, lots of nice little touches and would highly recommend. Thanks to Andy for being so accommodating and for the delicious breakfast!

The breakfast was amazing. Whole experience exceptional, you couldn't ask for more, attention to detail excellent. Hosts so friendly couldn't do enough to make the stay memorable. Will definitely stay again.

Nothing to do with B&B, dog owners letting dogs use car park as a toilet and not clearing up behind them. Ignorant dog owners at fault.

Very welcoming host. Excellent breakfast choices including Eggs Benedict and delicious croissants. The room had all facilities you need and a large selection of streaming channels on TV. We were only passing through the region but liked the hike to Blackchurch Rock and the visit to Dunster Castle & Cleeve Abbey. Ilfracombe is only a short drive away but preferred the quiet surroundings of Combe Martin.

The Room was really nicely decorated and comfortable. Shower was amazing. The full English breakfast was one of the best I had ever eaten 10/10! The host was very polite and looked after my well being with my knee being in a brace.

The host Andrew was very welcoming when we arrived, all the facilities explained and the evening meal we pre-booked was delicious, great night sleep on a lovely bed with an equally delicious breakfast next morning. The hosts have thought of everything, right down to toothpaste and toothbrush in the bathroom.

The host is a very nice man, he opened the kitchen especially for us in the evening and prepared wonderful meals. The cleanliness and facilities were top notch. I highly recommend the Lion House. We regret that our stay was so short, it was wonderful. I wish we'll be back some day :)

The owners had literally thought about everything a traveller might need and more. It was amazing and Andrew was so accommodating. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast 😊
