It was late when my husband and I arrived at the property. When we switched on the lights we both were amazed at the size and luxury. My husband committed to friends after we got home "I could have lived there"

This is a perfect place to stay in Kalispell. The location couldn't be better and John has done a beautiful job of redoing this loft. Everything is top of the line and it is so well equipped. We cooked at home two nights and had everything we needed. The beds are super comfy (always a main concern). I highly recommend the Pastime Loft!

Location is fantastic and the communication was great. Clean and well cared for loft that is an easy walk to many restaurants on Main Street. It was a great place to come home to after a long day of fishing. Thank you!

Very clean and spacious. Close to places we wanted to visit. Some other reviewers had complained about availability of parking. We left usually by 9 am and returned after 6 every night. And there was not a single time that we did not find a parking spot within 20 feet of the door to the loft. It is in the historic downtown area but there is almost no foot traffic in the historic part of downtown after 5. So the loft is quiet at night. I will definitely stay here again and John is a gracious host.

Had a great experience at this lovely Main Street location. Easy access to restaurants, sights etc. John keeps this property very clean and had excellent communication with him. Looking forward to returning.

We had a fantastic time the owner has done a great job making sure his guest feel comfortable During their stay. It was very tastefully remodeled and decorated love the antique sinks! I would highly recommend this place location was awesome first class all the way!

This was the perfect space to celebrate Christmas with our family this year! The location allowed us to walk to local shops, and the spacious interior facilitated relaxed family time.

Very clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable loft. The overall rating is 4 1/2 stars. It falls shy of 5 stars due to some small inconvenience with parking , due to it's location on Main St. & associated city parking restrictions. There is daytime street noise resulting from the location, however after 10pm the noise lessened considerably and did not interfere with sleep. The loft should have cable or satellite TV instead of local channels only and/or the ability to play TV apps over the existing smart TV. Overall, a very pleasant, highly recommended experience.

The loft was lovely-spacious, clean, and well stocked. However, there was a problem with the internet--when it was available, it was very, very slow. We had to use our phones for the internet.

premier location, well appointed, open kitchen/dining/living was awesome, steps from anywhere. john kept tabs if we needed anything - slight temporary wifi connection issue, but what the heck "we're on vacation". would highly recommend - doesn't get any better. thanks john. jerry m

The property was a great home base for my family with college kids who were exploring everything Kalispell and Glacier NP had to offer. Within walking distance to restaurants, bars and a Saloon but then about 30 minute drive to Glacier, Whitefish and Big Fork. Really clean, nice beds, a deck, and new appliances. Perfect for us.

Very much enjoyed our stay at 140 Main in Kalispell... great location that was very convenient to shops and restaurants... short drive to Glacier National Park... property is beautifully restored pool hall and lounge... perfect for our visit to Montana

This loft is perfect! It was spotlessly clean. Plenty of fresh towels, toiletries, blow dryer, beautiful claw foot tub and having a washer and dryer with washing detergent provided was so convenient. John has anticipated everything a traveler would need and provided it. Not to mention the loft is Gorgeous with all the modern appliances a family would need (microwave, dishwasher, full-size fridge, oven, chef’s cooktop). Location is perfect.

We enjoyed the space and just about everything about the space.

The loft is absolutely perfect. From the chef’s kitchen, luxury linens and the overall renovation that had been done, my friends and I were very impressed. Also, Mr. Hinchey was very accommodating in helping us with a small issue we had. I would definitely recommend the loft and will hopefully be back during the summer.

Great location, perfectly decorated, everything that we needed

We couldn't have been more happy with our stay in downtown Kalispell. The loft is actually a sizeable apartment remodeled to perfection while keeping its historical flair. From the light-filled large bedrooms and open living areas with large windows to the exposed brick and dark cherry accented frames to the incredible island and custom cabinetry in the best-stocked gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, everything was absolutely perfect. The location cannot get more convenient, right in the heart of historical Kalispell, close to shops, parks, highly rated restaurants and all arteries of travel. The loft's closeness to the Glacier National Park and Whitefish is also worth mentioning, as it provides a great gateway to all nature has to offer in the Rockies. The loft was fully stocked with laundry, kitchen items, had plenty of closet space, comfortable beds and a wonderful terrace in the back to unwind the day and watch the spectacular Montana sunset. We would recommend the loft to couples, singles, and families as it has something for everyone. We will be back!

Wonderful to see this beautiful old building so well cared for. We enjoyed all of the modern conveniences and appreciated that they incorporated some antique charm. We thought we would be walking to nearby bars, but ended up hanging out on the upstairs terrace. What a gem! If we get back to Kalispell, we would definitely stay again. We worried about parking, but our timing was great and with two cars, didn't have any issues.

The loft was great- very nice we loved its style and after being at a Ranch out of town we enjoyed being in town and walkable to restaurants .

We loved every single thing about this property, the location was great, the space itself was amazing, clean and comfortable. John the owner was great when we had a misunderstanding on our reservation days and worked things out with us quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

John has done a beautiful job restoring this loft. Great location, comfie beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful outside deck area etc... I could go on and on and on. Perfection!!!

This charming place is renovated with such taste and atttention to detail. It is very centrally located and our favorite store became Sykes market. We loved the quaint town of Kalispell and even though we spent most of our time in Glacier National Park, we loved returning home (as it felt that way) and cooking our evening meal in to enjoy the place. One thing, about the glasses, drinking a martini out of a jelly jar was definitely different? Having a few cocktail glasses would be nice! The beds were great and it was nice to be able to wash our hiking clothes. Lovely lovely place and if you ever decide to sell??????? Thanks, John

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Loft in Kalispell and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. The spacious unit is located downtown and is convenient to local restaurants and shopping. The turn of the century building has been completely remodeled to modern standards while still retaining the historic significance. A perfect location that provides close access to Glacier National and other significant points of interest in the surrounding area. There are many fine details and appointments inside the unit that the discerning traveler will appreciate. We have traveled to many parts of the world and used many HomeAway properties and this one ranks at the top of the list. You will not be disappointed by selecting this property for your future travel plans.

The apartment is located in the perfect position, it enable us to get around to the lakes, mountains, shopping (for my wife) and all the golf courses. It's a short drive for a day trip to Canada. John has everything you could possibly need in the apartment and it make's you feel like your at home and the décor is first rate.
