A beautiful property extremely well laid out. So nice to sit on one deck and hear the masts of the boats in the marina and the other deck to watch the sailing regatta

We were in for my daughters wedding and what a wondereful place to stay. Relaxing &peaceful from all the hustle and bustle of New Orleans, but minutes from everything !!! We defininyrly will come again!!! Great place !!!!

Worked great for a family of 6 adults! We had the best time just hanging out at the boathouse while getting to enjoy the harbor and lake views. Location was very convenient to the french quarter which was also a plus. James was very communicative in case we needed anything. Thanks again for an amazing stay!!

My husband and I loved our week at the lake condo. It's a great central location and the views from the front deck are lovely: diving birds, groups of sailboats out for sailing lessons, larger sailboats and even some paragliding. The back deck was a fun snapshot of a busy marina and had very comfortable furniture. The interior was exactly as pictured and though we only used the master bed, I can see how a larger group could fit comfortably there.

We had a great week staying at this adorable boathouse. The location was extremely convenient to Southern Yacht Club where our kids were doing sailing clinic as well as shops, restaurants and grocery stores in the Lakeview neighborhood. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to friends looking for a Lakefront getaway!

The boat house is spacious and comfortable. Located in a convenient area of the NOLA Lake Front with exceptional views. The front porch is absolutely perfect for morning coffee and the back porch for afternoon cocktails. Accommodations are extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to the NOLA.

Property is beautiful and as described. Worked perfectly for our family of two adults and a four year old.

My family and I are outdoor enthusiasts and this property checked all the boxes! We arrived to find the marina was having their annual boat parade and it felt like they were greeting us! We enjoyed the views from the front and back of the property as both sides are water view! My granddaughter mostly enjoyed our morning walks all while using the host provided binoculars. We cooked breakfast 3 times and cooked one dinner and the kitchen provided everything we needed. we highly recommend this property! A+++

My family and friends were visiting the Southern Yacht Club for a Junior Sailing regatta over Thanksgiving holiday. The Boathouse makes the trip special with incredible views of both the marina and the lake. The house is very well maintained and equipped. We will certainly consider staying here again!

We have stayed at this Boathouse multiple times. The stay is always amazing and our family walks away wishing for more time and looking at nearby properties to buy or rent. It is relaxing, safe, and very well kept. The property never disappoints. For those somewhat concerned about safety in NOLA, the Boathouse is just far enough away to give you a comfortable atmosphere, yet quick access to every hot spot. 10-15 minutes gets you to the Quarter, the WW2 Museum, all the food and fun. We have always done a little fishing and spent time just walking the marina. I think I have bragged on this enough, but I'll close with this: our family is the happiest at this spot out of all the years we have visited NOLA and all the properties we have booked (and we have been going for 15+ years). Thank you again, James, for a great stay.

The property was fantastic, management and owner genuine and responsive. We had a terrific time and an envious view to spectate for the Collegiate Sailing National Championship! My two points of caution: 1. The bedrooms are not completely enclosed and are separated by a built-in unit. Extremely comfortable and attractive, but may be a surprise if unrelated couples were staying together. 2. Unfortunately the area has some unsavory characters, no fault of the owners. The security is top notch but guests should be cautious. There was an attempted break-in at adjacent property during our stay, to which the police responded by checking our place @ 3am. We loved our stay and were very comfortable overall.

Was here for an Eritrean bachelor party & had a good time 15 to 18 minutes away from main location Host was communicative & very friendly Definitely recommend it

I really enjoyed the property. Very quiet, and very relaxing. The home had everything you’d need to never wanna leave including pots, pans, seasonings and all. I just didn’t like the spiral stairs, very risky. The area is safe, plus the police monitors the street all night which is a plus. Great views and the price was worth every penny. The master bed was kind of uncomfortable but we made it work. I’d definitely recommend this property to anyone, your going to love….love….love it!

Beautiful views over the lake on one side and the marina on the other. It was the perfect gathering spot for our family.

James was a great host and the property was beautiful! The location was as good as it gets and the only issue we had was the listing showed 2 bedrooms but the property is a 1 bedroom with 3 beds in the same room divided by a half wall, so just be aware in case you’re traveling with another couple or something like that and looking for a little privacy. Thanks James!

While attending a regatta this was the perfect Location! Easy to access, great views on the front porch to watch the sailboat races and beautiful sunrises on the back porch for morning coffee. The unit itself is very comfortable and made our stay so enjoyable. Look forward to returning in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this property. It is well maintained and has great views of the lake and the boat docks with a large balcony on either end. Due to the heat and COVID conditions we spent most of our time in the apartment. You can fish from the pier below. We caught a giant fish that was so heavy it broke the net with which we lifted it out of the water. During this adventure we met the owner Aimee who gave us the names of some good restaurants to try out near by. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet family getaway.

We had such a wonderful time staying here while visiting family in New Orleans. It was such a relaxing home that sits on the water with views on both sides. The adorable nautical decor is comfortable and very spacious. They thought of everything you need to make the stay comfortable and convenient. We hope to come again!

Everything was as as advertised. Even better, some basic supplies were there in plenty for kitchen and bath. Lots of hot water and cool air conditioning. Spectacular views. Very comfortable beds.

Stayed for a week. Was a great place to stay. Enjoyed being able to travel back and forth to downtown and having down time away from the chaos. James was a great host! Communication was great.

Great spot on the West End marina. Beautiful views of the lake from the front deck and cozy balcony out back above the dock. Clean accommodations and peaceful, yet not too far when you want to hit the city for a daytrip or night out. Cool boathouse for sure!
