We have enjoyed staying at this property dour of the past five years and have planned to book again in 2022. The property is in a perfect location for us - close to the beach but not in the very busiest part of the area. The property has everything that a large family needs: great location, plenty of space, great amenities and proximal to everything you need for food, supplies, shopping and entertainment. The property manager has been attentive and quick to respond anytime we have needed assistance. We are big fans and appreciate very much our opportunities to take vacation time here.

This home was absolutely beautiful inside and out. My family enjoyed the time in the home as well as on the beach. It was missing the iPad and the elevator didn’t work yet it didn’t stop it from being a wonderful stay.

The property was nice however, it was not ideal for us... We are a close family and felt the floor plan of this home was too chopped up. It had little living rooms/sitting areas and only one big area which was on the second floor. We were there from Monday to Saturday and there was 10 of us total. The house has two kitchens but really only one is stocked with dishes, etc... so really don't see the point in the 3rd floor kitchen. there was not even a coffee cup up there. For the price of this home it should be stocked with more than one roll of paper towels and hand soap and a bar of soap in each bathroom and Kitchen and for sure more than 1-2 rolls of toilet paper. We were prepared for these things as we had rented before other properties similar to this that didn't have them but it is very inconvenient, especially if flying... that is just more stuff to carry... The home didn't offer any beach chairs to use or a cart to carry your stuff to the beach. You have to either bring your own or rent chairs from the company that is on the private beach. The positive things about the home are the pool is heated which was very nice due to the cool snap we had toward the end of our week. It has a nice hot tub attached to the pool. It had a nice gas grill in a covered area down by the pool. It doesn't have a table outside to use but you did have pool chairs for laying out in. The house itself shades the pool area a lot so sun was hard to find. The elevator was extremely helpful, once we learned how to use it, for carrying groceries to the kitchen on the second level and luggage to the third floor bedrooms. The kitchen on the second floor is well stocked. There is a regular coffee pot and a Keurig Coffee Maker. Of course you have to bring your own coffee and there was a couple of filters there. We brought our own. There was a Keurig Coffee maker on the third floor however again no dishes / cups to use up there. I found that odd since that was where the main bar was... Ice was a shortage.... It has a big ice maker that never worked. The refrigerator on second floor had ice available in the door but not a big producer.... We purchased two bags of ice and that was good for us. We loved our vacation and did a lot of different activities off the property. We went to Fudpuckers to the alligator park and got to feed and hold alligators, rode a real pirate ship, great for kids, out on a pontoon boat to Crab Island, & Deep Sea Fishing on Disciple Ship!

Vrbo and Roxanna were easy to work with. House was exactly as listed and was perfect for our extended family.

Very nice house! Plenty of room. Great kitchen/family room/dining area. Loved the hot tub/pool area. Great for setting around and talking plus kept kids entertained

Can't go wrong with this house! Loved how clean it was. Everything was in working order. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming. Only suggestion would be to have more seating at the dinner table. This house sleeps 20. The table has 8 chairs and there are 4 taller stools at the island.

We had two families (4 children total) and the house was big enough for us to all gather together on the 2nd floor or break away and do your own thing. The pool was great in the afternoons for the children and the beach was right across the street. We had a few very minor things happen with the house and the property manager had someone there within 15 minutes to address it. A great stay and great responsiveness.

Home was great for a large multi generational family gathering. Easy access to beach and heated pool was great!

Elevator was nice for the grandparents and hauling all the luggage in! Pool and hot tub were nice and warm during our December stay that we still got good use out of both. The best part was the location! It is located across the beach, a walking trail goes right in front of the house, and within walking distance to a coffee shop, a couple restaurants to sit and look at the ocean and a small Dairy Queen! Recommend for groups and families.

The location of this house was PERFECT (right across the street from beach) and the heated pool and hot tub were exactly what we needed for morning and evening swims—the kids (7 and 3) were in heaven. It was also a great location for morning walks and short walks to grab coffee and head to beach shops.Rox, the property manager, was extremely attentive and proactive. We needed some alternative accommodations for check in/out due to our flight times and she was able to make last minute adjustments to accommodate—which we GREATLY appreciated. We did have an issue with the grill and a fire extinguisher was missing from the property—but the issue was quickly resolved and maintenance dropped off a fire extinguisher. Also, my family loves to cook and due to COVID we wanted to stay in and cook each meal, but the pots, pans, and utensils could be replaced at this point. Also, the beach and some of the bath towels and bed pillows weren’t the best quality—but this is us being very picky! This property, its location, the property manager, the layout, space, ampleBedrooms, outdoor space, and on suite bathrooms will absolutely have us returning!Do yourself a favor and vacation at this home!

This house was the perfect vacation home. Everything was just like the pictures show. The location was perfect for the beach. The walk was shorter than we have had staying at condos in years past. The owner was great to work with. There were 9 of us and 3 different families. We loved the 2 full kitchens, 2 washers and dryers, and 3 living areas. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out. This ice machine was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone.

I'm also in a unique position to see how well the property held up during a category 2 hurricane(Sally). We didn't experience the eye wall that hit Gulf Shores and Pensacola but Miramar Beach received over 22 inches of rain and the property didn't flood and we didn't lose power. Many people couldn't say the same thing at Miramar. I'm not recommending staying at the beach during a Cat2 Hurricane but if you have to or choose to, it held up well. Our family was very happy with the accommodations and Roxanne was excellent to work with and flexible. We'd definitely look to stay here in the future.

The grill area smells like gas all the time, the communication was very bad, and the administration get advantage to replace a lot of damages from my insurance.

Perfect location from beach

We had a wonderful time in Miramar Beach and the house was everything we expected it to be. The rooms were clean and neat and nothing was misrepresented. The check in process was super simple compared to other rentals we’ve done. Would highly recommend.

First time to Destin. First time to VRBO. BEST vacation ever ! The house is really cool. Lots of room. Pool and hot tub were great. Ready to go back.

Everything was super, except for the tree in the driveway. Hard to maneuver when both sides of driveway are full. Nice place.

The property was beautiful! We all enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub and close proximity to the beach which was just across the street. We had a couple of questions and received prompt service. We had a family of 13 and the home gave us plenty of space to be together and places for quiet time. We would recommend this property. Iowa Travelers

Beautiful home in a great location!!

We had 14 people and stayed here 5 nights - there was plenty of space, rooms on all levels helped with the kids that wanted to sleep vs. adults that stayed up later, although not huge, the pool was great and the kids enjoyed it, and proximity to the beach was perfect to allow people to come and go.

This was a great vacation home to rent with plenty of space to spread out. The location to the beach was fantastic and convenient. The hot tub was very popular with our group and the pool was nice and warm. The kitchen has all the pots, pans and utensils you would ever need. The bathrooms were all very spacious and immaculate. The manager of the property was very responsive to our questions and followed up in a timely manner. The balcony was great to people watch and have a drink. The welcome gift bag was lame, rubber wrist bands. For a few bucks they could afford a nice welcome basket with local fruit or pastries...just a thought. There were a few things that owners could do to improve the stay like, providing kitchen towels, hand soap, more garbage bags (only two for the week isn’t enough) , dish soap (dishes were to be cleaned before leaving. Kind of tough without soap provided), dish scrubbier, more than one dishwasher pod and detergent if they are only going to provide a limited amount of towels. Also would have been helpful since we haven’t been to the area before to have a map with the location of beach access points. In addition, it would have been helpful to have some of the information in regards to chair and umbrella rentals right away when we booked. We used an off site rental company that was good, but just not as convenient. Need directions to turn on the gas grill in their welcome binder as well. We figured it out, but it should be a guessing game on how to use it. Lastly, the TV on the main level never worked, which was okay because we ended playing more family games This is all nit picky stuff, but it would have made our vacation a less stressful. After all, you are paying a premium to stay there and I don’t think it is unreasonable to have the above limited items available. Overall though, we would definitely go back to the Grayt Escape location and just plan accordingly for items not provided. I would highly recommend staying at Grayt Escape. You will regret it.

Great property, very beautiful, well maintained. Very close to the beach. Very quiet. We love the music system controlled with the mini iPad and can control which areas we want the music playing. Love that it's super close to bad ass coffee, best coffee place in town! Close to several souvenir/beach stores and to the scooter & paddle boat rental place, less than 5 mins walk. The beach service with umbrella and chairs is definitely worth having as tents are not allowed. Great layout, we had multiple families and parents so it worked out perfectly with the kids staying away being noise staying away from the older people on the 3rd floor. Everyone enjoyed the pool, the jacuzzi & the outdoor shower. We bbq-ed almost every day so the built-in grill was put to great use! Also nice to have 2 sets of washing machine & dryer, we can wash all the towels simultaneously and spend less time instead of doing that multiple times. Definitely a grayt place to stay!!! Only 1 thing, the hollywood street access gate code does not work, not a big deal as this one is further than the other access gate (5 houses down instead of 3, very close)

Our family has been vacationing almost every year for over thirty five years in the Desin/Ft Walton/Panama City Beach area. We've stayed in a variety of accommodations and this was without a doubt among the very best properties we've experienced. I think the only thing that could have been better is if the property would have been beachfront which is really almost too much to ask for a property with a private heated in-ground pool. The property support team were very responsive to the couple of items we needed help with. This is always very important when vacationing - support for any problems or questions that arrive and this team was top-notch and extremely responsive to our little issues. The property was well appointed and we experienced no disappointments in regards to the high expectations we had based on the advertising of the property and our research of it before-hand. The property was well-appointed, very comfortable and easily accommodated both our large families gathering together and the individuals desire to have her/his own private time and space. With three generations in the house, this can be very important at times. Our family has traditions for the year-end holidays that include a large number of us vacationing together. AS coordinator of these outings I have received immediate and glowing positive feed-back from the family and am sure that we will return soon to our Grayt Escape.

Great place,close to beach,can’t wait to book for next year We were there just in time for hurricane. Power and cable out for a bit , but Maintenance man made sure we got hooked back up in time for cowboys game We have been to Destin every year since 2007 and this house is our favorite,and great value too
