They had a snafu when we arrived and our room was not ready. However, the great service and beautiful location made up for any inconvenience

Great place with a balcony with a view of the lake. Roof top terrace with extra ordinary view of the village and lake. This place exceeded my expectations and I recommend everyone visit Varenna to stay here. Only three room in this accomodation which was great.

Great location. Sole was a wonderful host and very accommodating. She was a good communicator and very helpful. It just happened that during our stay the other rooms were occupied by younger adults who partied til morning.

Lovely and clean property in a great location. The terrace is absolutely beautiful and offers great views of the lake.

The staff are extremely inflexible regarding check in times, so don't book unless you can check in between 2 and 6 (there's a 50EUR fee if you check in later than 6 and no scope to check in early). The 'breakfast' was also extremely limited.

Loved the location, the Suite and the service. Sole' who checked us in was so pleasant and lovely and really made us feel welcome. The Suite itself was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed every moment. We would definately love to stay again in the same suite & in Varenna.

Aircon would have been the icing n the cake as the noise from the Piazza went till late and we had to have windows open to keep cool.

Position-wise this place is perfect, the piazza is the life-hub of this part of Varenna away from the water, (only 100m) such a fabulous hive of activity and atmosphere every day morning ‘til night. Each room of the apartment offers a fab view either out to the piazza or the lake, the position close to bars and restaurants was perfect, the bathroom was good with a great shower!

we were in Varenna during a heatwave, unseasonal temps above 35 degrees. it was simply too hot to sleep, the fans barely made a difference but in the property’s defence, I guess all apartments without AC would have been the same but nonetheless, if they had a unit fitted just for the bedroom it would have been heavenly!

Excellent location, and the rooftop deck was stunning. There are three apartments in this building, a two-bedroom, a studio, and a one-bedroom. All had access to the roof. Kitchen was well-equipped. View on the courtyard was entertaining. Apartment was spotless.

There was some confusion actually finding the place after we were dropped off by our taxi. Numbering in the square is inconsistent. The landlord's sister kindly came out to guide us. There are a lot of stairs, but that is made clear in the description and the view from the roof is well worth the climb : )

Location was excellent, owner very friendly and helpful, room comfortable with view and small deck as well as a rooftop terrace. There was also access to a common room with your own small fridge, champagne to welcome you and so many small extras. We use the rooftop terrace in the evening to drink the champagne before going to bed and in the morning for breakfast.

Great location in the main square. Next to all the restaurants. Cozy room with a terrace that has a beautiful view of the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer

The host/staff was wonderful. The woman who works there is the best. So helpful and kind. The Breakfast they provided was also nice. Location very nice.

I spent quite a lot of time trying to find the best place in Varenna with incredible views at a reasonable price. Casa San Giorgio checked all of the boxes and seemed to be the best value in town. Matteo was very friendly, was more than willing to answer all of my questions about Varenna and the Lake Como area and gave me plenty of tips. The bedroom had unbelievable views from the balcony overlooking the square down below. Then, to make things even better, the rooftop terrace has a 360 degree view of Varenna and Lake Como. I highly recommend this property and will stay here if I am ever in Lake Como again.

Sloping roof in kitchenette problematic for tall people !!

Great communication from property manager Matteo. Location was in the center of town. Matteo gave us very useful information upon check in and made great dinner suggestions. The property was well maintained and the roof top views were AMAZING. I would highly recommend a visit to Varenna as well as a booking at this property!

Fantastic location, fantastic service from friendly staff. We were very well looked after. Short walk to beach, right on the piazza.

Not much, mostly it is a quiet and pleasant piazza to be located on.
