Nice cabin with lots of windows Lite snow every day,not so much we couldn’t get around,but made for great scenery Road was bladed regularly. Great place to relax

This was our second time staying here over the Thanksgiving weekend and this year was even better! Love the location and amenities.

First time stay here and pleasantly surprised that the property exceeded the listing. Rooms were neat and clean, kitchen fully equiped, grill fired up easily, but never had a chance to try out the hot tub. Had concerns about the road [three miles drive from the main road] but even after a thunderstorm no problem. There are a lot of deer and some wild turkeys in the area, so we took our time when driving in or out. This trip was beginning of September, so no snow. For a group of friends looking to escape the grind, the property was perfect - quiet and serene. Great mornings drinking coffee on the deck, spend the day checking out the tourist attractions [Mt Rushmore, Devils Tower, Mammoth Museum, Deadwood] and the evenings in basement gaming. Hoping to bring the family next time.

This place is far more beautiful and incredible than you can tell in the pics! The owners communicate very well and responded to my questions within the hour. We LOVED our time in this home; very highly recommended!!!

House was way larger then expected which was nice with all the kids we brought! Kids loved catching the rainbow trout out of the pond! Would definitely recommend to friends if they are looking!

Everything was wonderful other than water pressure. No air conditioning in all rooms, but the fans worked well.

This property gave us so much comfort and was everything we wanted and more thank you so much we can't wait to go back.

The cabin was amazing, and we had such a great spring break family vacation! It was clean and well stocked with everything we could potentially need and more. The directions provided to the cabin were easy to follow and took us right there. The kiddos loved the hot tub, and game room in the basement. So much to do, we could have stayed at the cabin the entire time! We will definitely come back here when we are in the area again!

What a great place! We've stayed at a number of different properties in the area, and this has been the best so far! I appreciate being in a secluded location, and this cabin definitely offered that. Amazing place great location, and outstanding amenities.

This is a great property. Erica was very responsive and all was as advertised. Directions were clear and comprehensive

If you are looking for relaxation this is the place for you. We spend 4 nights at this Cabin for our Thanksgiving break our grandkids loved the games downstairs. Great kitchen and large dining area the living room is ok there where 7 of us and it was a little cramped only seating for 6 in the living room. There is seating in the basement with a tv. Bedrooms are super spacious 3 bathrooms are great. The kitchen has everything you need. The host Erica decorated the house for Christmas 🎄 so we had a beautiful Christmas tree in the living room. Erica is a superior host she answered every question I had. Internet was great for the grandkids although they played outside sledding a few times or just playing in the snow. Deadwood is only 10 minutes away. Thank you Erica for a wonderful stay.

When it is winter, snow on the ground, a dirt road and dark...a 5pm check in is probably a red flag. Unable to find this property at night...google told us it was 3 miles on a dirt road....well google took us to a property with only a shed.....so we gave up. Next day we were still unable to locate it. No host info was provided to us on the VRBO page.....another red flag.....so do your due dillingence if you book this property.

This was a great place. It had such a variety of things to do. Playground, hot tub, grassy area to run around in and play Frisbee, carpeted basement with 3 arcade games and a place for littles to run around in. Lot's of bedrooms and very comfortable.

This place was amazing, the owners thought of everything! The seclusion was incredible, we were able to unplug and enjoy time with family! We had an incredible time and would definitely love to come back! We were very pleased, the beds were comfy, the property was was clean. Everything was perfect!

This property was perfect for our family of all ages!! Enjoyed the quiet location, the big home with the hot tub, wrap around covered porch and the pond!! If you don't mind driving on a rock road to get there, this place is perfect for a family .

We loved the quiet forest location, and the fact that our teens had to do without wifi. :) They had all the more fun in the hot tub and exploring the creek. We also loved the fire place outside, the arcade games downstairs, and the comfy beds. Great place to stay!

This house is HUGE, beautiful and the property gorgeous. The kids had a big competition about who counted the most deer. Beautiful area - BUT read the directions completely on how to get there. There is no cell service after a mile up the road. The WIFI at the house (Starlink) is great and supports phone and Zoom. Fun game room in the basement, clean and very nice hot tub. This is the best property of its kind in the region!

This place has 4 levels and is a large cabin with outstanding views, very quiet and super comfortable. Has everything you need on site and plenty of room for the K-9’s to play. We ended up with only 4 of us for the entire stay and needless to say we had plenty of space! The owner Erica was very responsive when emailing on VRBO. This is just a great place, especially if you have a large group.

This was such a beautiful home to stay in. We had 3 adults and 4 children and there was so much room for all of us. The kids loved the basement with the arcade games, foosball table and even an area for smaller children with small toy kitchen and books and games. This place makes you feel instantly at home and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend for anyone traveling with their family.

Great get away spots for the family.

House and property were wonderful, the pictures do not do it justice. We could not have asked for a better fit for our group. Side note-Showers had low water pressure and washer/dryer doors need adjustment (they are scraping up your beautiful floors) five out of five. Thank you

Good place

We had a meetup of extended family that live 600 miles apart. The black hills are in the middle for us! This house is PERFECT for little kids (we had 5 under the age of 6). The 4-6 year olds loved “hiking” in the backyard because it shoulders up to a lush tree filled hill and has a little pond. Of course the hot tub was a hit also. And the basement game room was awesome with arcade games. The kitchen has everything you need, the bedrooms are plentiful, and 3 full bathrooms is very handy.

Booked this rental for a group of 10 adults. For a group of our size, the home was prefect. Plenty of space for everyone. I’m not sure where everyone would sleep if you had 20 as the listing shows. To our pleasant surprise, the home was much better than shown in the pictures. Great kitchen space with all you need- a very large table perfect for our big group, a gas grill on the deck for our use. Just a few areas for improvement would be with the outdoor seating- there is a patio set but only a couple chairs. One of the futons downstairs was broken and apparently was not comfortable for sleeping. The yard was not mowed which didn’t bother us but some may prefer it otherwise. Lastly there was someone, not sure if it was the owners or not, that came onto the property with a four wheeler one morning spraying something on the yard… they didn’t stop or say anything to anyone in the group but certainly they caught us by surprise. I don’t mind maintenance or stops from the owner during a stay but I do like to be made aware of it- again not sure if it was someone was trespassing on the property or if it was the owners. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again! The location is remote and perfect for a group looking to get away.

We really enjoyed ourselves. Sleeping 20 presented a few small challenges but we worked it out. The location was perfect, mostly isolated. The pond was a big hit and we actually caught and released many fish. The kids literally spent hours on the playhouse and swings.

We had our whole family out for my parent's anniversary. Ten adults and kids from 4 to 18. The space in the house and the property was incredible. The living area connects out to the deck, which is huge and overlooks the pond and property. Despite our big group we never felt on top of each other. The kids loved exploring and fishing. This was the perfect spot for our group
