L’établissement est magnifique, un petit coin de paradis avec sa plage privée. Un hôtel avec beaucoup de confort avec seulement 8 chambres ce qui nous donne beaucoup d’intimité. Et Nicolas prend vraiment soin de chacun de ses guests. Celestún est vraiment une ville où on s’est sentie comme à la maison grâce à la playa55. Nous y reviendrons pour sûr. Nous avons même rajouter une nuit tellement c’est wow. Merci pour tout.

Absolument rien. La wifi n’est pas la meilleure mais il y a une très mauvaise connection dans toute la ville. Profitez en pour vous déconnecter et profiter du lieu et de la magnifique plage juste devant vos yeux.

Nicolas is a great host. The facilities are great and clean, except for the bed that was a little hard. We saw the sunset . He offered paddle boards and kayaks with we took advantage of it. The pool is great and big. My wife and I have a great time.

The only thing was that the bed was so hard.

We enjoyed very much the hospitality of the hosts, Jess and Nicolas, as well as the quality of the mattress/bedding, towels, cleanliness of the beach area, and to be honest we feel that the stay was above and beyond what we expected.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Beautiful room with the perfect ocean & sunset view. Loved the pool and the fireplace outside in the evenings. Owner is friendly and happy to share tips about where to go. The beach is very quiet, with zero or very little seaweed (compared to mountains of it in the Mayan Riviera). Walking distance to a few restaurants. My favourite beach destination on our trip!

This hotel was perfect. The owners were amazingly attentive, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the view was fantastic, and the location was the best in Celestún. It's right on the beach, and you mostly have the entire beach to yourself. The Playa 55 hotel is run by an expat couple who truly take pride in their business and your stay. Nico and Jess were quick to offer tips and suggestions for things to do in the area, to provide links and other references, and they were super-fast to respond via WhatsApp. The hotel had some kayaks and stand-up paddleboards that you can borrow, which was a nice touch. They have a rooftop terrace which is a sublime place to watch the sunset! Nico even gave me some fresh aloe vera from his plants to help treat a sunburn! It doesn't get any better than this.
