We stayed for a weekend while out east for a wedding. The property was lovely and exactly as pictured.

A few friends and I had a wedding nearby. We opted to stay here rather than separate hotel rooms, and take advantage of the location. We loved the house and the proximity to the beach. We would definitely stay again!

A perfect craftsman-style beach cottage with easy driving distance to Dune Road, beaches, and amenities nearby. Better than many beach cottages, the central air was vital during a substantial heat wave. Once the heat broke, the screened porch was a great way to relax after a full day at the beach. Booking was easy, communication very smooth. Lovely spot, we'll be back!

We had a great stay at the house as a party of six, which included two young kids. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. Awesome screen porch for meals. Highly recommend getting a pizza from Scotto’s Pork Store—delicious! Alison was a great host, very responsive and helpful!

When arriving at the property patio door was wide open. It appeared people had just left a children's birthday party. Decorations still up, trash and crumbs on the floor and countertops. Beds unmade. Urine still in toilets. Place was obviously not cleaned. Took over 2 hrs before we could actually use the house. The next morning the host texted me and informed me we’d have to check out a day early because they double booked the property and refused to move the other guest. So I spent a majority of my short vacation arguing with host and vrbo. Refunded us a night but refused to refund the cleaning fee.

This was a lovely home, a summer house redone by the owners in the Craftsman style. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the a/c was great and the screened-in porch was the best. We very much enjoyed our stay. My only complaint was that the owner supplied no bars of soap; we had to run to the store for that. For the price of the rental, I would have expected soap, as a hotel would have provided.

We had a great weekend stay. The host was extremely easy to communicate with, the property was spotless and is a great location. If we are ever in the area again we will absolutely hope to stay here again.

A perfect place to gather to go to a family wedding in the area. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

Cozy and convenient.
We were 2 dads and 2 sons spending time in the Hamptons for the weekend fishing. The house is perfectly located a block away from the bay, a quick 10 minute drive to the ocean and Southampton. Anything you might need like Starbucks, bagel shops, grocery stores etc..right down the road. The house is very clean and roomy. Plenty of space to spread out. The owner sent us the perfect itinerary of anything we might need or want to do a few weeks before our trip. I would definitely recommend a stay if you are staying in the Hampton Bays area.

Nice house, quiet street
Short walk to a quiet bay beach, short drive to the ocean beach. Away from hustle and bustle, but, only 5 to 10 minutes to shopping and restaurants.

Lovely stay in Hampton Bays
Alison is a perfect hostess and her home is a sparkling clean, beautifully renovated Arts and Crafts within easy walking distance to a small Peconic Bay beach and short drive to the ocean beach at Ponquogue.

wonderful house in great location
The house is well-built, well-maintained, and well-equipped, My family loved it and the location couldn't be better. Even my 18-month-old grandson had no difficulty walking to the beach.

Quiet getaway
A nice comfortable home with a few really charming touches like the craftsman style living area open to the kitchen. We were 6 - 4 adults and 2 kids and I’d say just about enough space for us but no extra. We only cooked breakfasts in the house so I can say much about the cooking equipment but we found what we needed and everything was very clean. My only complaint is the age of some of the beach equipment ( sand chairs etc) and the sparse paper supplies like plastic wrap./ foil - ends of rolls probably overlooked but all in all a lovely weekend

Great stay in nice part of hamptons
This house was cleaner than marketed. Very nice for a smaller group who just wants to kick back and relax for the weekend. Personally, I really enjoyed all the town had to offer and the serenity that the house and the neighborhood in general provided for me and my guests. Definitely would come back.

Super Getaway for Families
The house was impeccably clean, helpfully well furnished, easy access from the car, and close to beaches. We loved the screened in porch in particular. If it hadn't rained as much we would have used the beautiful back patio and grill too! For a three year old, we made use of the pack n play in the closet off the bathroom - oh yes, that's where we created an extra "bedroom" and it was just perfect.
Helpful hint: if you still rely on naps for little ones, come with materials to create some makeshift blackout window coverings where there weren't curtains.
We would rent this house again and recommend it to our friends. It made our getaway so comfortable and easy.

Beautiful Arts & Crafts beach cottage
This review is long overdue. We loved our stay in this beautifully decorated, comfortable, cozy home. We stayed in December when the snow was falling and the house was so warm and cozy (and the Hamptons so calm and empty). The house was impeccably clean and has everything you would need. Everything is as described and in fact the pictures do not do this lovely home justice. I can only imagine how nice it would be to stay here during the summer with the shady screened in porch and short walk to the bay. Can't wait to go again!

Perfect location!
This was our second time renting this . The property is located in a perfect spot, so close to all that one would need during a stay away from home: shopping, restaurants, wtc. Depending on the time of Year the house is close to ocean and beaches. Many things to do...this last visit for Easter we were able to tour a few local wineries.
The host is always asccsssible and has much information to refer to with area recommendations.
Definitely plan to stay here again when visiting the area!!

We had a great time and the place was all we could hope for.
The house was everything we could have hoped for for our vacation. The location was 10 minutes from the ocean beach. The location was as peaceful as you could ever want The screened in porch was perfect and we spent time having out there every night.
I would recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful vacation. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you needed.

We had a great stay in the Hampton Bays at this adorable house! Super clean and quiet, we loved the screen porch and being able to walk to the bay close by. Central AC, great wifi, nice bathrooms and kitchen. Owners were responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely go back, thanks!

The title says it all. Less than a 10 minute ride to the beach. Accommodating owners. If you don't need to be waterfront, but want to be in the South Hamptons, just do it.
