The over all experience was awesome. The close proximity to the beach, to restaurants and to shopping. The staff was polite and attentive. We have already booked our next vacationing at Casa Juan.

By far our best trip to Cabo, we thoroughly enjoyed Casa Juan and the Palmilla area. The home amply accommodated our group of 7 adults and two young children. The lovely pool and hot tub are security fenced to protect the young ones. The views of sunrise and sunset are spectacular. Access to the beach is by a short walk down the street. Though technically public, the long stretch of beautiful beach feels private with very few people on it (and this was a week with New Year's Day in the middle). The kitchen is well-equipped. Winter visitors do need to keep an eye on the propane tank gauge, as it needs filling regularly if you're using the pool/spa heater. Property management was responsive to issues like the gas and set us up with a great chef service, sailing charter, and airport transportation. You will likely want a rental car here, though Uber and van service are available. We thought this was a far better location than the areas near downtown Cabo, not only because the house was in a gated private luxury community but because the beach was so private and is swimmable.

I’m reluctant to say too much because I hope this home remains available for our family and doesn’t get booked up! It exceeded our every expectation. Cynthia was incredible and helped us with reservations all week. The house was perfect for our family in every way!!!

Beautiful views, incredibly clean, attention to every detail. Its so convenient to the beach, only a very short walk, and when you get tired of the sand you have the gorgeous private pool to relax by. I highly recommend this property. We will be back.

This is an exquisite luxury residence; we used 4 of the 6 bedrooms over a 5 day period and we were happy with all of the amenities and the staff, I would highly recommend this Los Cabos property, and its location within the world famous Palmilla Resort made it a great find! We will return.

Beautiful home, very nicely appointed. Pool and hot tub were easy to operate and control temperature. One thing which should have been identified is that one bedroom and bathroom are off the garage.

The house was everything it was supposed to be

The owner is very responsive and was very easy to contact. Upon arrival (after passing two guarded gates -- making it very safe) the house manager (Leo) was awaiting our arrival to give us a tour, show us how to use the various amenities, and answer all our questions. The concierge (Angie) was very informative and can help arrange anything from meals to transportation (Uber started a month ago and is very affordable when you can get a car - you can NOT use Uber to and from the airport at the time of this review). The maid (Adrianna) did an incredible job daily (except Sundays and holidays as those are her days off) in cleaning the entire house, and refreshing towels for the home. The house is a quick 3 minute walk to a private, beautiful beach that is truly worth staying in the Palmilla Caleta neighborhood. There was so much to do including meals/drinks at the One and Only, running in the neighborhood, eating in the nearby shopping center at Nick-san and Chin's, and traveling about 20 minutes into downtown Cabo San Lucas or 10 minutes into the San Jose del Cabo town. We were there over New Years for that cand a wedding of a friend who regularly vacations in Caleta Palmilla and had a wonderful time and highly recommend staying in this 6 bedroom home as it comfortably sleeps 12 in the 6 king beds! 5/6 bedrooms look out onto the pool and the house itself sits just a couple rows back from the beach. It comes with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, hot tub and beautiful pool. I've stayed in Caleta many times and this house is worth considering if you are going to the San Jose del Cabo area!

We just got back from 7 days in paradise. There were 6 couples staying in the house and we all had plenty of room. The location is absolutely perfect. We went down for a wedding and all 4 houses of us ended up being in the same community which was ideal. The hot tub and pool were a blast to hang out around during the day, although I wish the pool was heated. Raul, who looked after the house while we were there was extremely helpful as well. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting the Cabo area!

Our family just returned from celebrating Thanksgiving at your lovely and well-appointed home, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service and accommodations. Even though we faced a delay at the airport, a smiling face greeted us at the house and showed us around. Each of the six bedrooms were large and thoughtfully decorated so there were no sibling squabbles as our grown children chose their rooms for the week. With direct access to the pool from 5 of the 6 bedrooms, it was easy and private access to the pool and hot tub. Music from the outdoor speakers helped set the mood. The daily maid service was truly full service as she not only made beds and cleaned up the kitchen, but also made sure that the house was thoroughly cleaned and the towels were refreshed for the next day. There are plenty of towels, so there was never a problem of running short. We took advantage of the chef service recommended by the maintenance company and, oh, what a treat! Not only did we have an excellent surf and turf Thanksgiving dinner, but the chef also acted as bartender and made delicious margaritas. We always felt secure, with all residents and visitors passing two gates at the entrance to the community. Even though it was a holiday week, there was very little traffic so the short walk to the stairs to the beach felt more like a path than a street. We carried our chairs to the beach each morning and never had anyone within 200 yards of our group. The water was safe and swimmable, a rarity around Cabo. I also recommend the spa at the One and Only; the atmosphere and services are truly exceptional. One hint--if you enter from the beach, make sure to have your reservation on your phone and speak to the bartenders so that you can access the resort from the beach. Security at the resort is tight, but with your reservation in hand and a call to the spa, you will be warmly welcomed. Our host and the staff at the house were extremely responsive and helpful to all our inquiries and requests. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone who would like to experience their own "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" vacation.

Casa Juan was everything we wanted for my husbands 50th. We couldn't have asked for a better house...great location, amazing beach, easy to get to from the airport, and the owner and management company is willing to help is any way. We brought 5 couples down for 4 nights and it was amazing. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub great for evenings. The rooms were spacious and independent so everyone had their own privacy and comfort. The beach was only a few minutes away and great for morning and evening strolls or a quick dip in the ocean. We brought a chef in for the birthday dinner which I'd highly recommend. Also don't miss out on Flora Farms for a fun dinner out. It's easy to cook at home too which we did as well as the big grocery store is only about 10 minute drive away. The house manager is there to help and the housekeeping service comes in the morning and really cleans. It is like being pampered at a hotel but in the privacy of a home. I can't say enough. We will be back with adults only or families I think this house is perfect if you're looking for an amazing vacation all around.

This home delivered everything described in the listing. The view was beautiful and expansive, overlooking the bay and swinging out to the distant rocky shoreline. The beach is a short walk and down a series of steps. It is calm, suitable for swimming and great for a leisurely stroll. The house itself has a well equipped kitchen and bar. The bedrooms are all large. Four have large, lovely ensuite bathrooms, and the two remaining share a bathroom. The daily housekeeping service is extensive and up to hotel standards. Our family group of 8 adults and 4 children felt very well accommodated, with plenty of room and a beautiful pool and patio area to enjoy.

This home delivered on all aspects of my family's vacation. We traveled with a group of 6 adults, varying in age from early-20's to early 60's. We were less than a 3 minute walk from the beach when we wanted to have a quiet day, or a short cab ride to either San Jose or Los Cabos for a night out. We also had the option of relaxing by the private pool and hot tub. The gentlemen in our group even booked a deep sea fishing excursion, in less than a days notice. Overall, the house was clean and accented well with updated appliances. It had more than enough room to accommodate my family and the kitchen was perfect for a night in. We can't wait to go back and bring a bigger group next time!

Our group found Casa Juan very well taken care of. The view from the main floor is amazing. Everything worked from the kitchen appliances to the outside grill. We never ran out of ice due to the 2 ice makers in the bar area. All the bedrooms / bathrooms are large and detailed for the comfort of a vacationer. We always felt secure and it was easy to get a cab if our group decided to split up. Definitely hope to return next year.

Such a beautiful and large home, with a perfect pool and amenities. My family barely left the home! Staff is amazing too. I'll be back!

Our family of 10 had the incredible experience of staying at Casa Juan over Christmas and New Years. I cannot say enough about how wonderful of an experience it was. Everything about it says relaxation and we did just that. The home is beautiful with great metal art and touches that every day continued to surprise us. The views were amazing, especially the sun rises over the Sea of Cortez viewed from our bed. Poolside by 8am with a cup of coffee and cards and cocktails on the upper patio was a daily routine. One of the best features was the super quick walk to the best beach in Cabo where we could sun, swim and take walks. We even had a chef come in and cook Christmas Eve dinner for us which was a joy. I could go on and on but let me just say that I have recommended Casa Juan to three people so far. Our family members from 19 to 87 years old all had a fabulous time. The recommendations will continue. We absolutely loved it!

Our family of 11 enjoyed a fabulous Thanksgiving week at Casa Juan. The home is meticulously maintained and well managed. Both Diane, the owner, and Nanci, her property manager, promptly responded to all of our inquiries beforehand, and Manuel was available during our stay to answer any questions that we had. The daily maid service was thorough and unobtrusive. We felt safe both within the Palmilla compound and in nearby San Jose del Cabo and its environs. The house itself is spacious and laid out in such a way that we all felt that we each had our own "space" to relax. We enjoyed the pool, nearby beaches for surfing and snorkeling, and found several terrific area restaurants. Everything we wanted was right there; we never even made it to Cabo. Thank you, Diane, for sharing your wonderful home with us. We will be back!

We LOVED our stay in this house! It was perfect for us (all 13 of us!), with our children and grandchildren! We were staying in the blue master bedroom, and our twin granddaughters would knock on the glass doors at 6:30 am to have us see the beautiful sunrise with them! We took advantage of everything - we used the pool several times a day, went to the beach a few times, and had the chef twice. Several times, we all cooked dinner, using your beautiful kitchen and/or outdoor kitchen. All the rooms and bathrooms were done beautifully, and the house and patio areas were conducive to great afternoons and evenings being together! Nanci, the property manager, arranged everything we needed in advance and was so easy to work with. The maid service was excellent and unobtrusive, and Manuel was very available when we had minor problems or questions. To sum it up, our family felt that we were in an episode of "Lives of the Rich and Famous"! We'll definitely be back, and have recommended your home to many others! IT WAS A GREAT WEEK!
