Nice place to stay. A little hard to go up and down, to the water's edge from the cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was wonderful to be able to sit on the back porch and watch the River.

Beautiful location on the river. Loved sitting on the porch and watching the wildlife on the river.

My partner just finished a long run of radiation and we desperately needed the "quiet side of the Smokeys" The cabin overlooks the Little River and we enjoyed our morning coffee listening to the sound of water over the rocks. During the summer the "tubers" start floating the river around 10 a.m. - if the sound of laughter and folks having fun - you may want to stay inside. It is a joyful part of this cabin. (BTW - it was families enjoying - nothing crazy) It is located close to the grocery, delightful coffee shop and great local eateries. One of my priorities in a rental is a comfortable bed and this one fit the bill. We ate at several local restaurants and of course took a drive to Cades Cove.

The property was very well maintained and we were impressed by the cleanliness. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with supplies. Our favorite part was sitting on the swings looking at the river and watching the geese and their families.

The cabin was extremely clean! Well stocked kitchen and towels! Enjoyed the sounds of the river while swinging on back porch! Kids played in yard and river. Close to walk or short drive to IGA and many local attractions! Will be back!

It was a great place for us to stay for go topless jeep ride. Only thing I could recommend is updating tv stations or allow more WiFi usage than 1GB per day. Great location in Townsend and very relaxing cabin in the river.

This was our second time to stay at River Paradise. It is all about the location. Great relaxing views of the river, great restaurants and just easy to get around to all the local attraction.

Our 3 person family truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The cabin had all we needed (fully stocked kitchen, 2 bedrooms, nice water pressured shower, family room to hang out, porch swings in the front and back of the cabin to enjoy the sounds and views), a quiet place right by the river where our son enjoyed playing by the river, enjoyed camp fires by the river, beautiful sunsets, enough space in the front of the cabin to play catch and especially within a few miles of The Smokies!

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was easy to access, clean, and had all the features we anticipated. The kitchen was equipped with everyday items, like salt and pepper and some condiments. I didn't lower the rating, but knowing that four adults would be there for 5 days, it would have been nice to have more toilet paper and shampoo in the bathroom, but that was ok.The hot shower more than made up for that. Also, the closet handle in the bedroom closer to the river needs to be fixed. We closed it, but the handle doesn't work well enough to be able to open it. Again, this was minor. We were able to enjoy the firepit and the relaxing swings on the front and back porches. It would be great to have some sort of steps from the back porch to the river. Overall, we had a great trip, and the cabin was a great place to rest and relax. I loved the visitors' journal. That was a warm touch!

Check in was swift and easy, the cabin was as advertised, very clean and in a superior location. Only suggestion I would have is to update the DVD player for one which plays blue ray. Cause you never know! Overall, a great stay for me and my fiancee, will gladly do it again!

Exactly as described. The most peaceful place with the river right outside that sounds like total heaven. We will definitely be back to this River Paradise.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and the view of the Little River from the back porch. It is such a relaxing and peaceful place.

Very peaceful cabin with the river running behind. I could just sit on the porch all day and listen to the river. Beds were comfortable and everything is as advertised. Close to stores and restaurants, yet still quiet and peaceful.

We were right in the middle of Townsend. Just a few miles away from the entrance to the National Park. Great restaurants & coffee shops. Easy access to the cabin with great river view. Cabin had all the comforts of home & was exactly as advertised.

The cabin was exactly as advertised, cozy & warm feeling. Th creek behind the cabin was a plus. Enjoyed resting on back porch after full day of adventuring out.

What a wonderful piece of heaven. Quiet, easy location for activities, walking distance to restaurants, beautiful creek behind the property. Looking forward to returning in May.

The cabin was just as advertised. Beautiful setting near the Little River. Very easy to find and access. Close to park and eateries but did not have that crowded feel you get near the Smokies. Great communications also.

Love this cozy cabin! Location is great for our dally visits to Cades Cove and Wears Valley! This was our 2nd stay here and hope to come back!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Our first night was great, and we enjoyed a peaceful dinner by the river.
But the mornings were another story. There was major construction on the unit next door, with power saws, hammering and even a Bobcat loader beginning at 7:00 AM. We would made another selection had we known about the construction.
We expected anpeaceful place by the river, but that was not the case in the morning. Ask questions. Be aware that there may be circumstances you will not know about until you arrive at the property.

We really enjoyed our trip, even the rain. The cabin was the right fit for our family vacation. Everything we needed was already there for us. Two of us went zip lining, and all four went to the caverns. All in all a great time.
Thanks.

Couldn’t imagine staying in a cabin where you couldn’t see and hear the river. Beautiful spot on the river by some rapids.

This two bedroom cabin is located in the heart of Townsend...we were able to walk to get coffee at the Artistic Bean, or for pizza and local brews at The Abbey. It offers a lovely view of the river out the back and of a sloping mountain range out front...porch swings on both porches! Highly recommend!

Our favorite spot in Townsend. Stayed for 10 days and had a wonderful time with our family. Porch swings during rain storms, tubing and playing the river, biking around town, perfection every year. Looking forward to booking our stay again for next year!

Loved the cabin, location, everything about our stay was great! The air conditioner worked great which was nice with the hot days, and being right on the river was awesome!
Only thing I’d recommend would be some privacy shades on the front and back door so at night people can’t see right in. Thanks for letting us stay there, can’t wait to book again!!

This log cabin is a gem. The moment you walk inside you see the charm from room to room. The views from the backyard as you relax on many swings is spectacular and so relaxing. The cabin is centrally located. Our host Tommy was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. We were very comfortable in “Oasis on the River!”

Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect. The creek in the backyard is wonderful!

Booked the cabin for our 23rd wedding anniversary. The cabin was clean. The view was spectacular. The only negatives were an over complicated coffee machine. We had ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Some of our food had to be thrown away. The mattresses were uncomfortable. The path to the river was very steep. Steps would’ve help. The ring cameras were activated, and we felt an invasion of privacy.

Had a great time in Townsend. Hiked to Laurel Falls and the Middle Prong trail, drove the Cades Cove loop and the Foothills Parkway and had some great meals. The Cabin was clean and the area was quiet. We enjoyed sitting out by the little river and watching the tubers go down the river.
Highly recommended!

We came to the area to attend the quilt show in Pigeon Forge. As always, we preferred to stay in Townsend. It’s the quieter side of the Smokies, and a lovely drive up Wears Valley Road to get to Pigeon Forge. The cabin was exactly what we wanted. And proximity to Cades Cove is a bonus. We will return.

Cabin is right off the main road but with the creek in the backyard it is so relaxing and peaceful. Very clean, had all the necessities. I would definitely stay here again.
