Our family had a wonderful weekend on Lake Freeman. The home was beautiful and had many activities for us to do: kayaking, paddle boarding, corn hole, roasted marshmallows. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook all meals there. We really enjoyed our weekend.

We gifted this family trip to our 4 daughters and their families as a Christmas present. There ended up being 13 of us, with two more grandkids on the way. The house accommodated our growing crew. We appreciated the 5 bedrooms and large spaces in the home. The beds were very comfortable! We also used both pack n’plays. It would have been helpful to have a high chair available. We loved the dining table and patio tables. Most rentals do not have enough seating for our big family to enjoy meals together, but this one did. We were shocked to find the huge variety of games, outside toys, and lake toys. The shallow water around the dock was perfect for us, due to having 3 grandsons. This was the most clean house we have ever rented, and it was well stocked! Loved it!

We had a great time at this beautiful spacious cabin! It had all of the amenities there for our grandchildren to play with along with things for the adults also. Great cove to float, kayak or just relax by. We highly recommend this cabin!

4 Generations stayed the week with grandma, our four kids families and 4 young grandkids. Well stocked with supplies and everything we needed including laundry, kitchen, and bathroom supplies. Great location on the cove of the lake, nice dock area for our boat, with a shallow play area for everyone, enjoyed using the kayaks and standup paddle boards, nice backyard that we used for a blow up pool, house had games and toys for the kids which were very useful, extra frig/freezer in garage was awesome, indoor parking for 3 vehicles was nice but a little crowded outside for 3 other smaller vehicles, master hottub/bath jets did not work, gas fireplace did not work, not a great location if you have mobility issues due to several steps and multilevel, but overall one of our favorite locations we've stayed out in the area. We we will definitely consider this location again for our next stay.

Early this month, our 4 kids, their spouses & kids all had a bonding & fun weekend at this luxurious Lake Freeman cabin. We intermixed cabin activities with pontoon rides, plus plenty of tasty meals & conversations of past memories.
All of us had not been together like this for years…and it is a new memory for everyone.
Hats off to the cabin owners & facility manager for helping us maximize all the available cabin amenities, including pontoon training, games, BBQ grill, campfire area, lake floats, and more.

This Lakehouse is 'more' than advertised... Brian and Allison have thought of and provided everything... it really is 'in the details'.
Our daughters booked this house for their Dad's 60th belated bday present with our whole Fam and our 41st Wedding Anniversary. It did not disappoint!

Tucked in a peaceful cove with a spacious and nice dock on the water looking out into the open water of Lake Freeman.
A beautiful yard with a little brook and a bridge which of course intrigued our granddaughter.
The house is spacious with bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas on each level and all so beautifully decorated. Luxurious is correct in their description of the property.
The outdoor living space is amazing with a wraparound upper deck which covers the lower patio for those rainy days when yard games are necessary.
When I say details.... I mean, plush towels and linens, the good tp and paper towels, hey, it's important! :)
And, baggies and trash bags, etc.
Brian and Allison were very kind and responsive to all my questions. Markus, the property manager, was very friendly and fun to chat with.
All in all, this was a fabulous trip for our Family and look forward to staying here again.

We were a group of seven former college roommates some of whom hadn’t seen each other for 50 years! This was the perfect property for our get together. The combined kitchen/dining/living area easily accommodated our group and we spent lots of time on the beautiful spacious deck overlooking the dock and the lake. The house was very clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen which has a great selection of cooking and serving items. Beds were all comfortable and bathrooms all have both showers and soaking tubs! We especially enjoyed the fire pit! The owners were easy to work with and very responsive, check in and check out was straightforward.
Highly recommend this beautiful property - 5 well deserved stars!

Family had a wonderful time. Master bathroom was the only disappointment - Shower water pressure was bad and the tub jets didn't work, but we managed. Home was as described and very clean. Very spacious and we really enjoyed the lake and fishing with grandkids. The firepit at night was relaxing as well.

5 siblings 50-60 met with a few spouses. Parking was perfect house and refrigerators were great. We cooked all meals in great kitchen. Loved space, bedrooms and bathrooms. Pontoon, kayak and paddle boards were great. Lake pad was a hit! Only suggestion from group was remind guests to bring beach towels. Thank you for a great reunion location.

Our stay on Lake Freeman was beyond fabulous. Not only was the house clean and beautiful but it had EVERYTHING you would need for your stay. Everything in the kitchen to make meals, every spice you would need, outdoor watersports equipment, bag chairs, toys, games and firewood. All you need to bring is your clothes and toothbrush. Actually, I think I saw some toothbrushes in packages for guests to use. The layout of the house works perfectly for all ages. We had the two year old and 7 month old in the lower level with their parents while the grandparents and aunts and uncles were in the upper level. The handyman Marcus was amazing at getting us ready to use the Pontoon Boat and ga
ve us his number incase we needed anything. I would HIGHLY recommend this rental. You will not be disappointed.

Hosted 2 close friends and their families over 4th of July weekend. We had kids of all ranges…this place was fantastic with something to do for everyone. Huge backyard and dock overlooking the lake full of yard games, water sports, etc…2 separate living rooms at night were great for the kids to hang and do their thing…more importantly for the adults :) Brian and Alison were super helpful and responsive. They went above and beyond compared to other vrbo’s we’ve stayed at. An A+…We have some nice experiences before but this is the 1st rental property I would come back to. Already looking to re-book for next summer!

Our family members (parents, daughter and son and their spouses) celebrated my husband's 80th birthday at this dream cabin. The beauty of it is not only its physical beauty but, even more important, its quiet serenity for body and soul. We felt like we were inside our own snow-globe.
There was nothing, absolutely nothing, that we needed that you had not provided: from new toothbrushes to food seasonings. Even though Mother Nature did us no favors in regard to using the pontoon, she did provide a delightful pier from which the guys could fish (they weren't able to provide food for us for dinner, but they sure had a good time).
Even though there was plenty of space for all of our grandchildren too, we all agreed: this place is ONLY for 6 adults! Thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing us to share your paradise.

This rental was perfect for our group, we had space left over. Every year 8 of us (4 couples) get together for a friendsgiving. We used to rent 3 bedroom houses and fight over who had to bring an air mattress or take the pullout couch. Not a problem here!

We were only there for a long weekend for our daughters wedding in Delphi. This house was absolutely beautiful and warming, it felt like home. We will for sure try to book again in the summer so we can enjoy the house, lake and all the amenities.

Wonderful weekend. Very impressed with the owners communication. The Lakehome was spotless. We found the stay amazing. Appreciate all the extra available during the stay. Lawn Chairs, kayaks, spices, fire wood, plenty of towels and the beds were very comfortable. Would love to come back in the Summer of 2023!

A big house, well appointed and cared for. The house is in a cove so the views of the lake were disappointing but we made use of the kayaks and the stand up paddle boards to get out of the cove. I liked that there were few stairs and we had room to set up a volleyball net and corn hole and used the fire pit. A great place for big family gatherings.

The property was perfect and the view of the lake nice. Everything you needed inside the house at your fingertips! The hosts were easy to get in touch with and willing to ensure the stay was perfect. My friends and I had a great time reminiscing about living and growing up here. So close to one of my favorite restaurants Oakdale Inn also. The house was immaculately clean! Wish we all could have stayed longer. It is so hard to find places to rent that have enough bathrooms for everyone but this home has it all.
The only negative comment I have is the shower in the master suite, the jets spray in your face, I think it was meant for at least someone over 6 feet tall! But other than that no real problems. I would recommend this to any large family or group!

Three generations spent a memorable week at this great property! Every amenity was covered..kids loved the lily pad, kayaks, paddleboards. Smores at the fire pit. Kitchen was lovely. TVs for everyone. Space galore! We had two family members who had to work a couple of days during our stay and the office was perfect for them. Owners were always prompt to answer any questions and property manager Markus was helpful and informative. My only criticism would be that the grills were dirty. I wouldn't expect them to be pristine but they needed a quick wipe down. Would highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed.

Great week away at the lake!
Our family of 12 (seven kids ages 4-14 and five adults) had a great week at Lake Freeman! We have rented many properties over the years and this is the most well-stocked property we have stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed, and our kids enjoyed the outdoor equipment available to use during our stay (a few highlights for them were the kayaks, lily pad, and paddleboard). We rented a boat through the owners and the process couldn't be easier. Our family enjoyed taking the boat to the sandbar, which was quite a bit away upriver, but worth the trip. The garbage was not picked up from the previous tenants, which left a lot of trash outside the property when we arrived, but the owners were aware of the situation and were proactive in trying to get it removed by the waste company. We were appreciative of their communication throughout our stay. We will definitely stay at this property if we choose to vacation at Lake Freeman again!

Family Time!
My husband grew up on Lake Freeman and we always come here in the summer for a family and friends getaway. We found this property a couple of years ago and really loved it!! My husband passed away in December and we decided to come here again to have some family time together in his favorite place!! Since we left, we have decided we would like to make this an annual trip for our family! We love this cabin! It’s beautiful, clean, spacious, The owners are very accommodating and always there to take care of every little issue that might come around. We really love it here and will definitely be back again and again!! Thank You!!
