We stayed at the Los Naranjos villa with stunning views over the canyon. The villa is beautiful and located in a very quiet area. We were greeted by our amazing host Emilio and our stay has been beyond amazing.

A beautiful villa and pool in an incredibly peaceful location with sea and countryside views in a pretty little village with amenities within half a mile. Very friendly welcome from Emilio and everyone else we encountered at the property.

Showers ran hot and cold a bit but not a major issue. Bedrooms interconnected which wasn't a problem for us although could be if two couples staying - although there is also direct access from the outside into each bedroom.

Location in remote village. Absolute privacy.

Beautiful old buildings in a very pretty small village. Can walk to next village for bar and mini supermarket. Garage has washing machine and dryer which was really useful. Owner lives there so he was able to help when electricity or water heater goes off.

Not the right place for a winter break where you want to get the sun in the apartment as there is only a small window. We thought from the photos that we could sit outside in the sun and have a swim but they are for the other places.

Nice and big flat in 1st floor, clean, well equipped kitchen and big flat TV, good Wi-Fi.

Bathroom is behind the bed directly, divided only by a thin desk, so you can hear everything what you done in the bathroom like you are there. Also weak heating, while the weather is colder you can feel a little cold, because it is a summer type of acconodation.

we booked on line via booking .com. The photos were very misleading, it led us to believe that the accommodation we had booked included a garden with a small pool. Even the confirmation photo we received showed a garden and pool. this should be rectified with the owners and booking .com as we were very disappointed. Communication prior to our arrival was poor, our e mails were not responded to, we requested a phone call which we did not receive. We had informed the owners of our approximate arrival time, however we were not met at this time and were left outside unable to gain access until other guests arrived. We did not meet the owner until nearly 24 hours after our arrival. The room was cold at night, also very draughty due to large gaps under door ans the sides of the door.

We planned to have a cozy and quiet place to stay and with this countryhouse we definitly made a shot! The view was beautiful, the owner were sooo nice and friendly, the apartement was sooo clean and niced equipped. There was even a winebottle and room cleaning after 3 days.

You could hear some noises through the walls, but you have to keep in mind that this is a very beautiful countryside house. If you are not sensitive, then it won't be a problem. If you are, some Oropax will be sufficient :) Also you need a rental car to reach the apartement easily, but that makes sense for the whole island anyways.

Absolutely great place! Beautiful, clean accommodation. Perfect pool. The bottle of wine to welcome. Well equipped kitchen. Helpful and nice staff. Complete privacy if you want. A restaurant, a small supermarket, a pharmacy and a gas station are nearby. I recommend having a car.

Sometimes not hot water in the shower but it wasn't a problem for me

Good location, away from noisy and crowded typical travel destinations of Tenerife. Yet, close to nice restaurants, not far from the beaches. Perfect for those who are looking for silence during their rest, attractive views, clean and comfortable interiors and exteriors. Friendly staff. Just perfect.

It was great to be in such a relaxing and comfortable place away from the tourism. We had all what we needed for a good stay, including an excellent bottle of local white wine. The garden is a very good spot for stargazing! The house was spotless clean and serviced twice during the week. The little village is so peaceful and authentic. Juani and Emilio are very helpful and friendly, always making you feel very comfortable.

The shower sometimes did not provide hot water for a few minutes, but nothing major given the warm weather!

The property was perfectly clean and organised. We stayed in the La Jara villa. There was a nice bottle of local wine chilling in the fridge for us on arrival. The bed was very comfortable. The secluded garden and 4x5m pool were lovely with sun throughout the day. The property is situated 6 km inland along a minor road so that you are staying in the real Tenerife amongst real people. Very few tourists around here. It is ideally suited to explore the island of Tenerife by car, and you can drive all the way around the island easily in a few hours. You park on the small street that is outside the property so don't rent a wide car as the street is quite narrow! The local village has a pizzeria, pharmacy, excellent supermarket and a bar/restaurant. The view of the stars at night was amazing. Our host was also excellent and very friendly, and was around if we had any queries but otherwise left us to ourselves. The shower head broke on day one and Emilio came and had it sorted in 6mins! This place suited us perfectly.

Very little could have been improved for us.

El Sitio de la Casa has met all our expectations. it’s away from the chaos of the city and far from busy streets. The little villa with a private pool made me feel like a princess. Our stay was end of Jan/early Feb and even though the temperature were around 20degrees I didn’t use the pool because it was still a bit cold for me. Perhaps installing an heated system for the pool would be beneficial for the winter tourist. Juani and Emilio are fantastic hosts and they greeted us with a bottle of wine!

Loved the apartments in this quiet tranquil Spanish village in the hills , great views…private garden & swimming pool . Very welcoming helpful hosts . Shops & restaurants in the next village Arico Viejo & only 6kms to the beach .. We will return

My husband and I came to Tenerife in search of a relaxing, quiet place to work but also reset our minds. And we got it! The staff here is so kind, the beds incredibly comfortable. Emilio would reply to any of our texts in a second (seriously!). The garden is big and well maintained, perfect to sunbathe in the morning or do some yoga. The kitchen is well equipped and the wifi faster than we expected. Perfect for working and video calling. Mini market, butcher, pharmacy, and even a cute pizzeria were just within a 10-min walk. Thank you so much for being so gracious to us. We already miss this place!

Not that it bothered me much but just a heads-up: the swimming pool is not heated and it was so cold that we couldn't use it during our whole stay (normal in wintertime, tho). I think heating would be an amazing add-on to the property. We'd have stayed there forever!!!

super clean house with everything you need for a relaxing quiet holiday. perfect little pool that was a good refreshment. lovely street with parking at the end of the road. I also recommend the pizzeria in town for a pizza night:)

I strongly recommend this place. The apartment is amazing: big, newly finished, with a comfortable bed and bathroom. The garden is perfect and the pool very nice. You can go from its water to the sun in no time. Super clean, the whole residence is quiet and placed inside the Arico Nuevo little town, with no traffic and just birds singing. A paradise! In addition, El Sitio is close to the southern highway and to the more supplied Arico Viejo center, with market, bar, pizza etc.. Emilio, the house supervisor, is a very kind person and helps with everything. He provided me with a cycle for a ride, and a cable to connect tv and computer, all for free! I partially work from remote and the wifi connection is very good. Mucho gusto and hope to be back soon!!

Nothing, it’s absolutely amazing.

The outdoor space was very beautiful, spacious, quiet and private, with a terrace overlooking the surroundings. Indoors everything was very clean and cooled (although it was warm outside). The interior of the main bedroom was very nice, with a high wooden ceiling, comfortable bed, thick towels, ... A smart TV is installed in the living room, providing Netflix and Chromecast. The owner is very friendly. There is a bakery and a pizzeria (with very nice, talkative owners) in the village. Location-wise we liked that it was a bit further from the busy south, although only 30 minutes away from the beaches there.

Most of the time it was very quiet outside since mostly there were no other guests. However, there were 2 smaller houses located below the villa, so with other guests you might hear them as well. There are 3 cats from the owner living around the accommodation. It didn't bother us too much, but sometimes they beg for food or try to jump on the terrace table when you are not around.

Fantastic location, very friendly owner. we really loved El Sitio de la Casa and we will come back here again for sure !
