This is an excellent place for a single or couple to stay in Tucson. A very nice, comfortable, well-equipped 1 BR 1 bath, a short walk from the Star Pass Trailhead. Golf course on site, access to a very nice pool. Host was very helpful. Easy access to downtown Tucson, U of Arizona, very close to Tucson Mountain Park, Saguaro National Park, and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

This property was clean, quiet and well stocked. The location is primo. I love the Star Pass area for biking, hiking and trail running. Also easy access to great coffee and food. Owner was helpful and responsive. Very enjoyable stay!

Ella is a terrific host. We had a wonderful stay at her comfortable casita. We appreciated having a grill, loved the accessibility of hiking out the back door and easy access to downtown Tuscon. The pool is the best. Highly recommend.

The location of this property sets it apart. We were a chip shot from a gorgeous 27 hole golf course and a short drive or beautiful walk up to the Marriott where we could use their facilities. Sitting out by a fire pit with the hotel’s Starbucks coffee in the morning overlooking the city of Tucson was a great way to start the day. The casita was well equipped with everything you would need including many condiments and paper products and other staples that you would often have to buy at other VRBO units. The beds were very comfortable and the sleeping was fantastic because it was so quiet. Ella is a wonderful owner and went out of her way to make our stay as perfect as possible.

This was a great way to be introduced to Tucson. The accommodations were very comfortable and spacious. Short drive from stores but off the beaten path. The salt-water pool was wonderful and I was pleasantly surprised by the menu at Cantinas. I would gladly book this place again but next time, I’ll plan for a round of golf too.

Comfortable, clean and excellent location for hiking, biking, or just relaxing in Tucson. Comfortable beds and good kitchen set-up. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. We enjoyed our stay although the weather was too cool for us to use all of the amenities.

Ella the owner was very available and helpful throughout our viist. She offered good suggestions for local attractions and anything else we asked in key with our specific interests. First, the owner is awesome! Accommodating, friendly and responsive! Great home! She had the football game on TV upon our arrival! Great value, beautiful pool, nice golf course and restaurant steps away. This place is fantastic, highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Owl Casita! The home was very nice and comfortable, we had ample room to relax and visit with our children. The view is amazing and the patio is very private. The pool and restaurant and within walking distance and the man hotel is a shuttle or very short drive away.

This rental checked all the boxes: clean, comfortable, kitchen well stocked, private patio, end unit, convenient parking, and helpful owner. Our favorite spot was sitting on the patio surrounded by vegetation, awesome view & all the birds that stopped by to eat the birdseed. I hope to stay here during my next trip to Tucson.

Everything was perfect!!! Excellent location, gorgeous views, great soundproofed walls (we have a screaming baby!), fully stocked casita. I’ve stayed at 3 or 4 of these casitas before and would happily rebook this one again. Check in process was great as was host communication. Thank you!

We loved our vacation in Tucson. The condo was perfect- clean, nicely furnished and well stocked with everything we needed, and the owner was great to deal with. We especially loved the location, the spaciousness of the condo and the facilities including a fabulous pool, lots of great restaurants on site and nearby and the surrounding scenic views of the mountains etc were epic. The local wildlife was pretty cool too- loved the birds and wild javelinas who visited us at the casita ! There’s plenty to do in this area and we really enjoyed hiking in the nearby parks.

The casita had everything we needed for a very comfortable week. The owner was great to work with. It didn’t hurt that we had wonderful weather,too.

The property was adequate for our needs and is well-equipped and provided. We were surprised, from the photo , of the website that the pool was somewhere else over the road. Did not matter to us but would have been a disappointment if we had expected it to be adjacent . Maybe I missed the info in the advert.

My husband and I were so looking forward to our stay at Starr Pass this January. We stayed for 10 days, and our casita was everything we hoped it would be. It was comfortable, well equipped, and tastefully decorated. Pam, the manager was very helpful and attentive. The nature was amazing, and we enjoyed using the bird feeders while we were there. We saw many hummingbirds, quail, cardinals, cactus wrens and more. Plus desert life like javelina, coyotes and antelope squirrels. We were an easy drive to our favorite spots like the Desert Museum, downtown Tucson and Tahono Chul. We hiked every day and enjoyed to pool when it was warm enough. We would love to come and stay again sometime.

Top view provided a wonderful base for our explorations of Saguaro NP (both east and west), Mt. Lemmon and Sabino Canyon. Beautifully decorated yet encouraging relaxation, we looked forward to our return each evening from our hikes and sight-seeing. The owner is very responsive to questions and cares for her wonderful property AND the guests who visit.

Had everything we needed. Will come back, my son was sorry to leave.

My sister and I met in Tucson for a vacation. We very much enjoyed the casita. It was so comfortable and well stocked with anything a visitor could need. Especially enjoyed watching the wildlife that came up to the patio each day. Road runner, javelinas with babies, hummingbirds and many other birds. Was fun to check the patio to see who was out there. We also enjoyed seeing the sights of Tucson -art galleries, Sonora Desert Museum, Mini Time Museum, Tucson Botanical Gardens, B & B Cactus Farm, hiking trails of Starr Pass and the spa at the JW Marriott. Thanks to Pamela for hosting us at her wonderful casita. Loved it and highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at the Owl Casita for UA graduation. It was quiet and comfortable, and a beautiful place to relax. The beds were extremely comfortable and the owner was kind and able to make all the accommodations we requested. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Tucson!

I stayed at the Owl Casita as my "home base" for my first visit to Tucson. Highly recommended! The location is outstanding - mountain and golf course views, in a very scenic and natural area. Walking paths close by. Quiet and peaceful during my stay there. Pamela was a great communicator throughout the process, and had great suggestions in the home book. Thank you Pamela!

We came from the eastern part of the USA with our grandson so he could see something different and we were not disappointed! Casita Owl is in a great area with walking trails, great views and a restaurant within walking distance. The house is equipped for cooking although we only did a little. We saw any birds and wild pigs just outside - fun to watch. We enjoy our stay in Tucson very much!

The Starr Pass area is great place to stage from to explore the many features of the area, including Saguaro National Park, Old Tucson, the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, and so much more. The area is just 10-15 minutes away from urban Tucson, yet you are in a very natural area and immersed in the desert and in among the the mountains. Excellent hiking and mountain biking trails are just outside your doorstep. You don't have to drive somewhere all the time and we really appreciated that. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Owl Casita is very well cared for and quite comfortable. We really enjoyed the views to the west and the birds and other critters that came by to visit us: quail, roadrunners, doves, javelinas and more! The beds and linens were top notch and the kitchen well-equipped. Neighbors were friendly and helpful, and the development is quite clean and well maintained. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. We especially appreciate the extra information provided by our hosts for where to shop and things to do ... a very nice touch! And, our host contacted us several times during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We were there a week and a day, but it's the kind of place and location that you can settle into for a month or more if you have the time. We'll be back!

From beginning of booking process owner failed to act as responsible caring owner. Failed to accept first attempt within 24 hours and VRBO denied request. She wanted me to enter credit card information again, I was afraid I would be charged twice. Called VRBO they assured me Pamela failed to accept and I would not be double billed. On arrival, we were given minimal directions even though she was told we were not familiar with the area. I asked for detailed st. address so I could mapquest location. Didn't get it. She changed the door lock and code and didn't give us new code or instruc. to open and lock door. Made frequent calls and text messages before she finally ( 2 hours) gave me code. A very nice, helpful couple saw we were having trouble and came to our aide. They explained how to open and relock the door after I put in the code. They never had the door code. Pamela said we should have gone to BBQ place to wait in comfort for her to call not wait in hot car. I had insulin that needed to be refridgerated and I was hot, tired and stressed after a long drive (384 miles). I have had many rentals thru VRBO and never experienced any problems like this before. I tried to do laundry before leaving, washer would not work. Now she says I broke it and wants me to pay $600.00. She also says she will have to recode door and wants between $500-1000 (for 2 drs.)to hire locksmith. I saw neighbors instruction booklet for locks. You can change the code anytime you want with codes provided. Codes should be changed after each guest to protect all renters. She did not give us a pool key or pass. The units were built in late 90's. Furniture, carpet are original. Couch and chair need new cushions. Carpet seam snagged. Master bed has foam topper, needs new mattress set. Master shower needs major cleaning, black mold in corner and down side. I didn't introduce myself, I don't know couple name or casita #. I didn't carry my phone or laptop with me 24/7, but checked it daily. This is what she is basing her denial of the refundable damage deposit on. I can't give her information I did not have. I did not breach her security policy. I will never rent from her again. I'm sure I could have found a nicer unit with a cooperative owner. When you own a rental you have a responsibility to follow through. Pamela was lax. She is upset with me for not responding to her calls. ON VACATION to visit my brother. I have Documented proof of all communications.

We were in Tucson for the gem and mineral shows. The location was great to get to the shows. We were only at the condo in the morning and evenings. We enjoyed looking at the views off the patio in the morning. At night, we just relaxed in the living area, which was large and comfortable. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay.
