Personal (die einzigen in dem Hotel) im Essenbereich waren freundlich.

Der Self-Check in ist nicht so unseres gewesen. Es fühlte sich alles sehr unpersönlich an, da fehlte dann doch der Kontakt zu dem Personal. Die Fenster waren so tief zur Straße, dass jeder Mensch von draußen uns beim Schlafen zusehen konnte. Abhilfe gab es nur durch blickdichte Vorhänge.

Die Lage des Hotels ist günstig für Ausflüge rund um Reykjavik, Frühstück hatte alles was man braucht, Zimmer waren groß und sauber

Es gibt keine Reception, keinen unmittelbaren Ansprechpartner, unser Fernseher im Zimmer funktionierte nicht richtig ( ging ständig aus), dass war für uns im Urlaub nicht wesentlich, aber man konnte niemanden informieren. Außerdem gab es an einem Abend einen Feueralarm, es gab keine Infos, wenn da ernsthaft was passiert , will ich garnicht drüber nachdenken.

It was so small. Very small space for luggage.

Clean, awesome breakfast. Friendly staff, breakfast ladies were excellent at their job. Shower was heavenly with plenty of hot water. Adequately sized rooms. Clean towels available at all times. Virtual reception was of concern to me when booking, but phone line on each floor makes them easily reachable and Miquel was helpful.

A bit far from down town, smart TV didn’t work, no signal- it said. Also unable to use USB port to charge phone.

Like all other hotels in Iceland, there’s no need to check-in. All doors are operated by passcodes. I like our room a lot. It’s a simple room with a bunk bed and two single beds, it worked very well for us. There’re two big windows with lot of natural light. There was a socket beside each bed, USB charging port and desk lamp beside the single beds. There’s a small window, which we kept opened. As our room faced the road, there’s a good view but there can be some noise from cars at night. There’s a lot of space and we can open all our suitcases without problem. The toilet and shower is very spacious as well, and there were space to put all our toiletries and clothes without problem. The breakfast was commendable, not of the food but the service quality. There were 4 staff kept on cleaning table just became vacant, refilling food and cleaning the food area to make sure the it is clean and tidy. They did it so frequently and quickly in such professional manner, that I had never seen in other hotels before.

There’re limited car park space and it’s best to ask where’re the other places one can park.

This is a great choice when travelling to Reykjavik. We were staying only two nights during our stopover between flights and location was excellent. We managed to park the car in the garage both nights. Once we walked to city center. Breakfast was great! Clean facilities.

Parking de l'hôtel un peu petit, mais il y a la possibilité de se garer ailleurs.

Henkilökunnan asenne ja palvelualttius oli huippua. Saimme lisätyynyn huoneeseen saman tien, he neuvoivat kaikessa mitä kysyimme parkkipaikasta lähtien. Hotellin aamiainen on saanut huonoja arvioita, mutta mielestämme se oli enemmän kuin hyvä. Kaikkea ei ehditty edes maistamaan kuuden päivän majoittumisen aikana. Ja aamiaistuotteet vaihtelivat päivittäin. Huone oli siisti ja pidimme erityisesti kylpyhuoneesta sen koon ja hygieniatarvikkeiden laskutilan vuoksi! Eteisen hyllykkö oli hyvä matkalaukulle ja muille tavaroille.

Hotelli on hieman syrjässä, mutta bussit keskustaan kulkee heti oven edestä. Kirjahylly mistä asiakkaat saavat lainata kirjoja tai jättää luettavaksi oli hankalasti nurkan takana. Sen voisi sijoittaa näkyvämmälle paikalle. Huoneen TV:n alapuolella voisi olla hylly/taso mille saisi laskettua tavaroita.

Grandeur de la chambre. Confort de la literie Propreté des lieux. Hôtel neuf et design. Excellent petit déjeuner continental Restaurant avec grande amplitude horaire pour l'Islande. Peu de choix sur la carte mais bon et à un prix abordable. Self check in et self check out (pas de personnel)

Parking trop petit (seulement 16 places) mais possible de se garer en face sur le parking supermarché. Buffet petit déjeuner copieux mais pas assez étendu donc attente lors du rush de 8h.

The room was clean. Check in instructions were clear. Very good breakfast. The staff are nice.

Fantastic hotel just outside of the capital for perfect base for Golden Circle/South Coast tour. Code was sent a day before which gives you access to parking garage and room. Around 16 car park spaces but wasn’t an issue for us luckily. Breakfast (7-10am) was tasty, varied and plentiful. Loved the waffle making!! Room was clean with a view of the mountains and it was cleaned after a few days. Hotel is quiet and very relaxing with English channels. Wi-Fi worked great on all areas. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I return!

The buffet breakfast was well-stocked and delicious. We were glad to have different options to eat before heading out to explore Iceland. Our room was spacious and had a refrigerator and microwave. We were warm even when it was snowing and windy outside. The hotel provides a phone at the entrance in case you need help checking in or in case you need to call a local Icelandic number, like a taxi service or tour provider.

Our room faced the road, so it was noisy even at nighttime. The shower is a wet shower, so part of the floor would get wet as well. There is not a reception desk at the hotel, but there is at least a phone to call if you have any issues. Early check-in is not an option, and the baggage storage room does not open for new guests until 10am.

Room was big, light and tidy. Bed and sofa comfortable. Delicious breakfast, enough variety of food. Also waffles

Breakfast could have a bit more vegetable choice. Also in sink water was going down very slow. But those are very minor issues, in general all was ok.

Clean, quiet & comfortable. Breakfast spread was excellent, staff were amazing. Free car park very useful & secure.

Location isn’t the best but that’s the catch with a great price! Despite the busy road, the soundproofing was good and we slept well.

Location, clean, breakfast, dinner, night restaurant very friendly staff, parking and communication.

Restaurant closes 10pm. After that we can’t get even bottle water. Recommend F&B dispenser machine, housekeeping every other day and no one available in person to ask for anything.

Tiszta, kényelmes szoba, ízletes és bőséges a reggeli. Szállodában is lehet vacsorázni, de a szomszédban van pizzéria, kínai és indiai étterem.

Jó 40 percnyi gyaloglasra van a belvárostól, a kis hűtő nem hűtött, cserébe reggelre megfagyott a tartalma🙈

Tiny room, no kettle not enough parking

God morgenmad og fint værelse som indeholdte hvad vi skulle bruge (vi havde 3 overnatninger og det levede op til vores behov). Lå udemærket placeret når man har lejet bil - både ift. hurtigt at kunne komme til centrum af Reykjavik, men også ift. at køre ud af byen. Gåafstand til indkøb med længe åbent.

Som mange nævner, er der få parkeringspladser til rådighed på matriklen. Dog skal det siges, at vi ingen problemer havde med at finde pladser i området (max. 300m væk). Ville dog være en luksus at kunne holde på adressen - eller hvis hotellet lånte parkeringspladser på den ved siden af liggende (tomme) parkeringsplads. Derudover er der ingen reception. Vi havde igen ingen problemer under vores ophold - alligevel finder jeg det dog trygt at kunne henvende mig et sted, såfremt problemer eller spørgsmål skulle opstå.

It advertises as if it’s closer to the city centre and with an excellent breakfast. Breakfast was mediocre and city centre was an hour’s walk away

I did not get an email for building and room access, but there was phone to call and get that information. There was not many choices for restaurants in the area.
