Good Location, PropertyManager available. Only negative was the toilet (head) needs some work. Hard to pump.

We all enjoyed the easy relaxing time sitting on the boat in the harbor. Everything about our stay contributed to a fun and different experience. Sharon was a lovely host and excellent communicator!

I booked this stay as a surprise for my daughter and 2 daughter-in-laws. I was the one surprised. In the bathroom, there is mold in the corner ceiling of the shower. An electric cord runs on counter behind sink with a lamp on the side of the sink, with dirty ring around it. Another electric cord runs under the low cabinet over the sink and is held up with a clip. You have to use a coffee cup to fill water in toilet. One bedroom with twin beds has an older electric heater between the beds and next to the small dresser. Looked dangerous. Main part of boat is cluttered with used candles, extension cords. The one shelf is lined with used old candles, and the shelf itself is gritty with dirt. Odds and ends of dishes and glasses. Water from the filter on kitchen sink tastes bad. Coffee, peanut butter in cupboard, butter and packs of condiments in refrigerator. must have been left by past quests. Ceilings yellow with age. The positive side, Beds were comfortable and linens were nice and clean. We felt safe in this marina. Sharon was helpful and friendly. Beautiful view of the Lake. Most unique experience to stay on a boat. However, I would never stay on this boat again, too many nice places to stay on or near the lake. A note on the refrigerator asked for a 5 star. I give it a 1 star at best. The pictures are much nicer than what is real. I did take several photos of the problems.

Staying on the B-Happy was great. Sharon helped us make the stay comfortable and was always available for questions!

We came as fisherman so it was nice to tie are boat off next to where we stayed, there is no place to clean fish and some people seamed off put by the blood and guts of our success

Sharon was attentive and staying on the boat was unique. Would do it again.

Sharon made this so easy and comfortable for all of us! Everything was clean and she was super easy to communicate with! And even gave us suggestions on where to go, I would definitely recommend staying here!

First off I’ve never done a review and it took me a day to really think about what I wanted to say. I never want to hurt anyone’s business but I was so disappointed. There were so many many issues, The boat was not in the condition shown as on the pictures (I understand they are only pictures not reality) but they should be close. I say everything that was wrong I’ll just tell the most upsetting things. 1st and most important Sharon’s husband/ boyfriend walk up to our family and was talking to then said “I’m going home to “smoke” (this site won’t let me say exactly what he said but I’m sure you can read between the lines)and watch Carol Burnett” who says that to a family) then tells us that we’re not actually staying in a “marina” like the website states that we’re actually “staying in an old boat yard.” The first night was awful all I all you could smell was urin “like I was an old outhouse” my husband was able to make it better the second night by putting a cup over the sink drain and He put a fan in the bathroom window to vent it outside. The last two things were the freezer was so iced over it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time and the owner offered us to use the grill but it was so full of cobwebs it wasn’t even an option. There are so many other things but like I said the major one is who comes up to her family and says that about “smoking” You may ask “why I didn’t leave after the first night” well believe me I tried but everything in Bay Field was booked we walked around town and looked and we had excursion booked. Very sad and disappointed

While the boat was a little dated and could use a little maintenance, THE VIEW!! You dont go to Bayfield to sit inside. Already planning a return visit for a longer stay.

Great location in Bayfield with super view! Close to good restaurants & fish market. Went sailing, took the ferry to Madeline Island, and explored sea caves in kayaks. We had a great time!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The boat was comfortable and clean and Sharon was very helpful. There were storms both nights we stayed and she was proactive and reached out to assure us we were safe on the boat.

We loved the central location to the town. The owner was great about making sure we had everything we needed. Nothing fancy here but all we needed. Not a fan of the bathroom but we made it work. The kids enjoyed fishing from the boat and playing around with the raft.

Sharon was a great host. View from boat was beautiful..saw sailboat races,etc. Very good location..not crowded and close to town. Harbor people were fun

Very unique boarding with a marine flavour. It is moored in a boatyard with many other private boats, good folks.

Unique floating motel room! There was a slip available for our fishing boat too which was very much appreciated and very convenient. People there keep a watchful eye on things! We felt very safe leaving our fishing gear in the boat. Thanks Sharon! Hope to see you again.

The setting is picturesque! It is nothing short of amazing. we loved being able to wake up and retire for the evening with the elements of nature. The local marina folks are welcoming and very friendly. I look forward to planning an even longer stay in 2020. Thank you Sharon, your hospitality was beyond wonderful!! Shari

The marina was the best place to stay in town. Peaceful, quiet. The boat is well equipped and oh so comfortable.

The idea was good but the boat was 40 years old and the. Location could be described more as a boat yard than a marina.

My wife and I have been to Bayfield many times and wanted to stay someplace different. This was an excellent choice. I've had a boat before and knew what to expect but this may not be for everybody. The boat was great and the bathrooms and showers were conveniently close. It was nice to be able to walk to downtown. I would recommend this to anyone who was to get away from the tourists and enjoy some local people and a beautiful view.

My 3 friends and I stayed for the weekend. The boat was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. We were very comfortable in it. We enjoyed how close it is to downtown and the ferry. We enjoyed sitting on the deck morning and evening. We plan on staying again.

We enjoyed staying on the boat. We loved setting on the deck and, looking out over the water in the evening when we got back to the boat. Very peaceful. Bayfield is a great place to explore.
