Convenient friendly hosts good breakfast

Breakfast was very good. Portions were great. Could have done a bit better on the coffee and tea but the food was very good.

...the room fan squeaked when turning; a walk-in shower would be preferable; noisy traffic eases by 10:00 p.m., can be noisy, due to location near highway.

The property was beautiful! There are lush gardens, a small orchard, and private parking.

We stayed upstairs where there was a queen bed, and a futon. There was no blanket for the futon.

Nice place with beautiful grounds walking distance to the ferry dock and restaurants and shops. We had a warm breakfast with fresh fruit every morning. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We were very happy with everything about the place from the rooms to the owners and the breakfast.

Bruce and Barb were marvelous hosts with incredible breakfasts! Lucy's Place is an excellent base camp for inland or water excursions. Gardens were amazing and the view of Lake Superior from the Lake View room was mesmerizing.

Due to the latitude the area was colder than anticipated. Also the spring pollen and allergy season was in full swing in June. That has nothing to do with the quality of the place, but is good information for a visitor

Excellent service from very friendly hosts!! Breakfasts were delicious and very satisfying. Close to the harbor and restaurants. Loved Apollo (the owner's husky) who greeted us when we arrived and every morning. Nice to have a jetted tub, fridge and microwave in the room. Loved the porch and swing.

The bed was very high and difficult to get into for older folks with mobility issues. Lots of road noise as it is located on a busy highway. Would have preferred a stand up shower with a curtain in the tub as my husband never takes a bath. A small TV in the room or a TV in a common area would have been nice.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast were amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay.
