Beautiful harbor area in a small town.

Parking was a bit of an issue but all considered I enjoyed my stay and will stay there in the future.

Great location. Room was on second floor with outside steps. It was okay edpecially since we were there only 1 night, but when you passed other rooms, if they were sitting outside they had to get up for us to pass.

We recently took a trip to Bayfield, WI and stayed at Harbor's Edge Motel. Considering all the expensive properties in Bayfield, this one was a not-so-hidden gem. It looked small when we pulled into the parking lot, and initially the room looked a little small. However, it was SO clean and cozy. They make such efficient use of the space. The bed was very comfortable, and our view was Lake Superior. We had stunning sunrise and sunset views! This town is so walkable, and the motel is close to everything. We took the cruise to the Apostle Islands and the ferry to Madeline Island, and both docks were right across the street. There isn't a restaurant, but so many good restaurants are within walking distance. The only staff member we interacted with was at check in. The front desk lady was very nice and welcoming. She gave us an excellent recommendation for a fish dinner (The Manypenny Bistro - yum!). We chatted up a few couples staying there as well, and everyone was so friendly. One woman said this was her third time staying at the hotel because she just loved it. I could see why. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Everything is so convenient. I bought apostles island cruises and stay here to be stress free. Staffs are friendly. The downtown is a few blocks away. I will definitely come back again.

Property was very well kept and room was clean. mattresses were comfortable. There are not any amenities at all. More of a stop over motel. A bit pricey for what we got.

Checkin was a breeze. The room was cute and we had a view of Lake Superior and the ferries. The room was super clean. I would come back again.

We were in awe at how well our tiny room was laid out. We felt like we had more space than in much bigger rooms.
This was perfect for a night before our Apostle Island adventure.
If you are planning to stay for more than one night, or making this a base, you'll want a bigger room than we got. They have a few different configurations.
Highly recommend Hoops Fish and Chips open air restaurant.

Super convenient location….two-minute walkable to in town restaurants, Madeline Island Ferry and Apostle Islands Cruise Pier. Well maintained property, spotless clean bathroom. We were very pleased with our two night stay.

This is an old property. Room was cozy. The bathroom area was very tiny. The closet was larger. The stairs up to the room were very steep. The location was perfect, a 2-minute walk to the beach and marina.

Yearly Bayfield trip. Always stay at Harbors Edge. Nothing fancy .great value. Very clean. Staff are great. Absolutely beautiful place with lots to see and do.

The room was clean but not very comfortable. Nice private deck with a view of the lake. Within walking distance to the docks and most restaurants. Had to ask for fresh towels one day. Overall this place is not a good value for what they charge and we won’t return

We have stayed at this property before and always find it inviting and very clean. Even tho the rooms are a little on the small side, but they are quant and very clean. Our family who was with us on the other hand had a court yard room and that was very comfortable, so hopefully another time I will call enough ahead of time and get those rooms again. We love the Bayfield area, and find this property very close to everything we want to do. Thank you for letting us stay with you yet again! We will be back!

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Apostles Island. The hotel is walking distance to the ferry to Madeline Island, the cruises and a lot of great restaurants - left the car parked and walked to a lot we wanted to do. The manager at the hotel was amazing. We were arriving late and she made sure we knew exactly what we needed to do. Had poor cell service so she called back in about an hour to make sure we had all the information we needed. Room was very comfortable and big. Will be back in the future

This is a no frills property. The best part is the location. You can park and walk to everywhere and never move your vehicle.
It does have a window unit for air, which is very loud. It does keep the room very cold. The dehumidifier runs constantly and I did have to empty it. It has a good small refrigerator which works well. The coffee pot had coffee but no cream or sugar, and a few plates and cups but no silverware.

Great front desk staff checked us in and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. Location is very good. Rooms are dated but clean. Not much lighting at all. So if you need to apply makeup, good luck! Bathroom is very small and sink in with bedroom. Room did have a small refrigerator and we were very happy of that.

I’m traveling with a friend and we both booked individual rooms. Her room was on the ground floor of the main building and mine was upstairs in the building that houses the office. We were both pleased with our rooms. They were comfortable, clean, and the location was walkable to anywhere we wanted to go, particularly convenient to walk to catch the boat tour.

Staff was great! Clean and comfortable accommodations. I liked that hotel guests could access the community microwave and ice machine at anytime. Located across from the ferry so there was more noise at times, but the convenience to stores and local attractions was well worth it! Recommend Harbor Edge motel.

This cute and "cottagey" place has an ideal location--walk to anywhere in Bayfield or catch the fairy right out the front door. The public beach is so close you can pop back to the room as many times as you need. Our room was plenty spacious and the furniture was sturdy. Staff did a nice job of cleaning room and replacing towels each day!
