we loved where we stayed, had no issues with the property owner. it’s perfect for a weekend get away!

We spent two days in Petoskey and this location was perfect for the two of us. We were really close to Burt Lake and Indian River. Great location for our needs.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very neat and clean. It was nicely set up for two people and a great location to fit our travel plans. My husband especially enjoyed the large tv 😃

Nice, clean place. Way better than a hotel. It was cute and had a lot of amenities for a smaller area. The bed was a little uncomfortable but I'd stay again.

Was super clean, super cute. Even though it's attached to their home it was very quiet. It felt very private. I think the old open food should be thrown out before new people come to stay. I also think it's a little high in price considering you have to drive 30 minutes to get to anything and everything. They had a bottle of wine and fresh fruit on the table waiting for us. Overall excellent property just a little high in price.

Thanks for the clean nice accommodations. Really appreciated a place that we could rent for one night. Our first visit to Indian River. We were able to walk downtown and grab dinner on the River. Very pretty!

Owner is very friendly. Left us some fresh fruit which came in handy for breakfast. Very comfortable chair and bed. Kitchen is extremely clean and very well equipped.

My daughters and I spent a night in the loft. The space had everything we needed for comfort and convenience. We felt right at home. We loved Indian River, off the tourist path, but in close proximity to everything in the area. Next time we will bring our kayaks and launch them on the nearby river.

Doug and Amanda were great, and the studio apartment was very clean and perfect for our trip! I appreciated the ease of checking in and out, and the basket of fruit and bottle of wine were a kind touch. I would highly recommend.

Super clean, comfy chairs and murphy bed to crash a while and a couple good restaurants to grab a drink and some food close by. Owner was super nice and we loved being greeted by the family pets when we arrived

We rented with Amanda for a long weekend. It was a good location right in town walking distance to most beach , stores and restaurants. There was plenty of room for our boat. The cottage was very nice, clean and stocked with most everything you need. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. However I wish I had known two key factors prior to booking. It may have changed my mind. 1) the apartment is attached to the owner's residence allowing sound to pass through the walls. 2) the queen bed is a Murphy bed. Our favorite thing to do was walk to DeVoe beach and watch the sunset each night. Overall, it worked but will probably consider an alternate location next time.

We loved the studio. Amanda was very nice and answered all questions I sent. I loved how centrally located we were to the small downtown area. We were only 1/2 hour away from Black Lake Golf Course. The accommodations were perfect.

As a retired couple we truly enjoyed our week long stay here. Amanda was so helpful from answering questions before we booked our stay, and all the way thru our stay to the end. Upon arrival Amanda was right there to great us, walk us thru the property, answer all our questions, and any concerns. We were just delighted with how clean and tidy everything was. This property has a up north cottage theme, and is decorated very nicely. Everything you could need is there, and if you may need something that is not there Amanda is right next door and more than willing to help you with any issues. There was fresh fruit, and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, utensils, pots/pans, a microwave with popcorn, under counter refrigerator, A/C, and everything is very clean. There is a BIG wide screen T.V. with satellite service, so you can receive about a million different channels, and a DVD player with some movie choices. The bathroom has a great corner shower, plenty of towels ad liens, and did I mention..... how clean everything is...… as well as being all newly remodeled. There is lots of parking and room for your boat, snowmobiles, R.V.'S all within steps of your private entrance. Plenty of space to back our boat in and not worry when we went away. The area is quiet, and very peaceful, and within easy walking distance of restaurants, ice cream shops, there is a beautiful lakefront park about two blocks away with a picnic area, sandy shallow swimming area for the kids to play. Or you can set and relax and wave to the many passing boaters in the river by the lake. We've stayed at various motels in the area, but if Amanda has this place available when we want to return we will be booking this. Thank you Amanda for a very pleasant stay.

We loved staying here. There were so many nice touches including the wine waiting for us, the microwave popcorn, and oatmeal and fruit for breakfast. It had everything we needed for our short stay and the apartment was spotless. Thank you!!

Wanted a clean place away from the main stream motel/hotel crowd, avoiding the virus. It was just perfect for what we needed and wanted. Very clean and nice, could back right up to the door and nice safe neighborhood to take a walk in.
