Lovely place, easy to get to, nice to have parking!

Cute place, great layout for our stay. Convenient location and very nicely stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were exceptional, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved our stay and will book again if we return to San Francisco area.The house was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants and coffee bars. We sat in the outside area and relaxed in the evenings. We loved our stay! Regarding parking, we did not have any problems at all parking in the driveway.

My son, wife, and I traveled to the bay area for a Giants and 49ers games. The location was perfect for both games. The pictures for this property were accurate. I rented a full size car and had no issues parking on the property. Jocelyn was great with communication and was a wonderful host.

Located central to going south or north of San Fransisco which we needed to do this visit. Everything you should need can be found in this area and you can walk to the restaurant block. Tight space for small vehicles only otherwise park on street. Busy area but relative quiet at night. If you don't like hotels this could work for you.

Nice little apartment/house which was clean , well located close to downtown San Mateo, and well equipped. We walked every morning to San Mateo central park and spent the afternoons and evenings visiting our family close by. One minor caveat—Parking is fine BUT you must rent a small car.

We had an enjoyable stay here. The house is in a good location, a short walk away from downtown and cute restaurants. We were glad there was car park space in the garage rather than just street parking. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was clean and everything in relatively good condition. It would be helpful if they add blackout shades in the 2nd bedroom and if they supplied some laundry detergent. Other than that, everything was good.

Loved our stay. House was clean. Communication with host was superb. Location was just OK. Tons of foot traffic and parking was difficult. But I would definitely stay here again.

We brought our kids to San Francisco to do some sightseeing and to see a Giants game. This property is located close to airport and made for an easy drive to Muir Woods and all the San Francisco tourist hot spots. The property was well equipped, safe, clean, and close to the grocery store and restaurants. Glad we had the opportunity to stay at this property.

This place was perfect for our stay. It was clean an neat. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and dishes and even some pantry supplies. The couch and the beds were soft and comfy. We didn't get to enjoy the shared outdoor area as it was raining during our visit, but it looked like it would also have been comfy. The best part was the location. It's only a few blocks from a bunch of really great restaurants. If you go one street over to B St and then walk south down to 3rd, you'll find fabulous dining that continues as you turn right onto 3rd. Everything we tried was excellent. The little house has been broken into three units. It didn't seem as if anyone was staying in the other two units when we were there, although someone did come to clean and we could hear her through the wall when we were in the bathroom. However, the layout was such that we probably wouldn't have heard the neighbors in the living room or bedrooms even if someone had been there. The only sort of downside is parking. There's a small parking spot behind the building that's usable if your car is little. If you have a mid-sized SUV or larger, you're probably going to need to park on the street and those spots sometimes filled up. Altogether, a very wonderful stay.

Nice two bedroom apartment with all amenities. No dishwasher detergent when we left but that is not a deal breaker. The parking situation was ok but I have a Honda pickup which would not fit into the on-site parking space. I had to search everyday for parking. It was never very far away, so it was only an inconvenience. Very easy to communicate with Jocelyn. Would stay again !

This property is very nice and great if staying with a pet or children. There is a well maintained yard in front with a wood fence with gates to the driveway and to the front walk. Easy to let dog out at night or morning without need for a leash. The bedrooms are nice with closet space and full length mirrors on door. Beds are comfortable and unit is quiet. Nice size bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Easy walk to town for restaurants. We will definitely look to stay here again when in the area.

I stayed in this remodeled 2BR in San Mateo for 9 days in April 2023. The property is well-located and well-appointed. It had everything I wanted and more. The hosts were nice, and I would stay there again.

Most everything was great. The property looked as in the photos and communications from the host were fast and helpful. The space was perfect for the four of us, except for bathroom storage space for our toiletries, but it wasn’t a big deal. We could walk to downtown San Mateo or drive to Burlingame Ave in less than 10min. We were a bit unlucky in that we were in an area that suffered a 24hr power outage after a storm. Not much you can do about that. One night some rowdy guys raced their car several times through the otherwise quiet, residential neighborhood, blasting the horn repeatedly and surely waking up lots of people. We nonetheless felt safe and happy at the property and had a wonderful visit.

Location was perfect. Small front yard off of the rental was absolutely perfect. The weather held up. There was propane to be able to use the firepit and enjoy the back are. The home was absolutley perfect and was very accommodating. The owners are great people and the access to property was very easy. Thank you so much for letting us stay here. We will be back for sure. Easy process, good location in downtown san mateo, responsive landlord.

My husband, son & I stayed here over the holidays. It was quite comfortable & the owner is very communicative if needed-even though it was the holidays. It’s close to San Francisco & there are shops & restaurants within walking distance. We will likely stay again if we visit family.

My adult daughter and I stayed here for 10 days and from the moment we arrived through our departure we had a terrific stay. Carlton was helpful, responsive and beyond accommodating. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was well appointed, and there were new appliances and nice updates throughout the house. Plenty of linens, pillows, towels, and natural light. Located in a family friendly neighborhood with local Mercados within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This was a trip to celebrate my brother's 80th birthday. The photos are very accurate, and the property is so cute and pleasant. We found the beds to be super comfy, and the decor up-to-date. The kitchen was very well stocked even though we didn't cook huge meals there. We appreciated that we had a washer and dryer. The owners communicate very well. The side driveway is narrow and parking a bit confusing if there are renters in the other units. But we did fine with that. I hope to return sometime.

Cozy, clean and great location. Just a quick walk to the Caltrain and the quaint downtown area of San Mateo.

My family enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect! Close enough for a quick drive to the airport and downtown San Francisco yet far enough to not have to deal with traffic and crowds. The apartment had everything needed.

Recently stayed three nights at this lovely two-bedroom unit in San Mateo. Neighborhood was nice and the home was lovely. There are two other units in this house, but they are well-separated. Parking can be a little tight when sharing the property if the street parking is full, but we always had at least one space. The property owner was very attentive and the home was well furnished and well stocked with everything needed. Highly recommended overall! If you're a foodie, San Mateo has an incredible culinary variety, just blocks away

This is a lovely appartment, very spacious and very well equipped. One of the best I have rented over several years. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everyday items and a few luxuries. The main bedroom is huge, the second bedroom is plenty big enough. Good shower. No traffic or aircraft noise. Good parking at the back and easy to get to the freeway then a simple drive into the heart of SF. Messaged the owner a couple of times and responses always very prompt. We really enjoyed our stay and would rent again if ever in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Close enough to San Franscisco to do day trip but the advantage of a smaller, quieter city.

The apartment is in a house-like building and is the front unit! It has been freshly remodeled and is very nicely appointed; all we needed for our visit! Comfy furniture and bed and nicely stocked with essentials. Loved the walkability to downtown San Mateo.

This place was great! Plenty of room for our family of four, kitchen was well equipped, beds and linens were comfy. Close to everything, but still quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything worked as it should; the kitchen was very well stocked; large closets;the king bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable; and the large couch in the living room, while a bit outdated, was very comfy with many pillows and a throw. Very short walk to all the restaurants in downtown San Mateo. The shower was spacious and worked well. Two big drawers under the sink was an added bonus. Once we got connected to the wifi it worked very well - fast and reliable. The only drawback was that the outdoor patio area in the back is a shared area. We couldn't tell that from the photos on the website. Also this area had dirty cushions and was not well-cared for. It has no shade and so we didn't use it at all. Overall, a very comfortable, spacious, clean, convenient and well-stocked apartment. We would definitely stay there again!
