I like The tranquility of the place. The time we went there, there was a hippie festival going on and we heard nothing in our room. We slept like babies. Only thing we heard at night were the frogs 😃

The light in the bathroom is poor. No shaving or put on make up is possible with that light.

An amazing and very well serviced hotel. The views from the room were great and the frogs evening chorus was a real treat.The food was exceptional. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.

a good hotel perfectly located just outside the center and with great views over de river, a nice walk can be made over the fortifications around the city which will bring you back to the hotel in about one hour.

Maybe one minor thing, the shampoo bottle was almost empty and hard to get the shampoo out :-) the pump wasn’t working well.. but no big issue!

Good location and right on a canal with a sculpture that lit up at night. Easy walk right into the center of town. Not too loud at night.

My room was some hybrid conversion from a staff room with a commercial sink and a coffee machine (that I couldn't use). there was no staff for check in, just a restaurant worker that covered and provided a key. At least that's what I understood was happening. This was one of my least favorite rooms during a 3 weeks biking along the Rhine River. I'd choose a different hotel in town if I were to do it again.

a very well appointed room that is spacious, modern and comfortable. The internet speed is fantastic too, for those working from the room or streaming.

Terry towelling bottom sheet on the bed and no black out curtains. Kept awake by the “other worldly” sounds from the river. Stayed in a different room a few days later with blackout curtains on a different floor and wasn’t disturbed at all 🤔

not in the ability to provide an invoice at check out, and wrong pricing with unwillingness to correct breakfast chaos, slow although only 7 people to serve restaurant is not a restaurant but a bad quality expensive tapas bar got framed for 114€ on the 2 rooms

Location did make it a little difficult to find due to the one way streets but ideal for exploring the town on foot. I was allowed to park the motorbike near to the accommodation than way off in the public parking area. No one was at the accommodation to provide the key to the room, the restaurant was the point of contact and top mark for his assistance and hospitality.

This is an annexed part to a hotel in town but afraid, still not aware which hotel it was. On arrival no hotel representative was present so the point of contact was the restaurant to collect the key but the booking was not showing on his provided list.. A call was made and the booking was confirmed and we were escorted to the room. Accessing the room was an issue as the key failed to work but we were fortunate that an off call staff member attended and provided a working key card. Due to the on call representative not being available.the restaurant manager knew who to call and was so helpful, full appreciation to him

The location of this hotel on the waterfront in a park close to the ferry dock in Gorinchem could not be better. Just a beautiful outdoor setting. The rooms have been thoughtfully appointed with modern fittings to a high standard. Although the room was small it was comfortable. Wonderful hot shower.

I'm not sure the idea of having some of the floor be transparent to show the ancient walls underneath is a good one. Kind of throws you off when you walk around the room. Our room window looked directly into the city wall so was rather dark which is good for sleeping but not a great view.

Very nice hotel, well located, close to the city center. Beautiful room with everything you need, even a microwave. There is a restaurant also in the hotel but we already had booked somewhere else.

It was a bit warm and dry during the night, no window to open.
