Lots of character and atmosphere. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

- Die Lage, absolute Ruhe; - der beheizte Whirlpool; - grosse Küche mit Abwaschine, grossem Ofen, Waschmaschine; - der lichtdurchflutete Wintergarten, der sehr zum Verweilen einlädt.

- Offenbar wurde das Haus länger nicht geputzt, was wohl die Spinnen-Invasion (auch im Schlafzimmer) erklärt. - Der Wasserdruck beim Duschen ist so schwach, dass nur wenig Wasser kommt (der Besitzer meinte dies sei ok), für normale Ansprüche ist es jedoch viel zu wenig, Haare waschen ist kaum möglich. - Internetleistung ist zu schwach, um ohne Unterbruch streamen zu können. - Was noch erwähnt werden sollte: die Treppe ins Obergeschoss ist extrem steil, die Stufen doppelt so hoch wie normal. Wer nicht gut zu Fuss ist, könnte Probleme haben.

The location was perfect for quiet getaway for family. Kids loved the hot tub. Weather was great. Pub was 25 mins walk through woods and small quiet road. Easy and pleasent (take a torch !). Great views and hiking oppurtunities

Lovely cottage, warm and inviting, located in the middle of Dartmoor so excellent for exploring the area. The hot tub was an added bonus

There was not enough seating in the lounge for 6 people as the corner sofa only sat 4 ( or 5 if someone sat curled up in the corner bit) and there was no information or suggestions for local walks or things to do, places to visit or have a meal / coffee nearby.

Following a warm welcome we were left to settle in. The cottage was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Relaxing in the hot tub with fabulous views (and weather!) Was just what we all needed. The hot tub was checked each morning, so we felt safe and comfortable using it.There was also, provided a history of the tin mining in the area with models of equipment used and explanations with each model. It was lovely to have some background on the area. Would definitely recommend this place and the hosts. Gabrielle and Andy had the right balance of making us feel looked after and giving us the space to relax.

An incredible location with access to beautiful Dartmoor on the door step. Simple accommodation with a hot tub and views overlooking Yar Tor (amazing!), a well-appointed kitchen and cosy sitting room. Just what we needed for a short weekend break.

Nothing! The log burner could do with servicing/repair but I'm a bit geeky about such things!
