Questa casa sulla spiaggia accogliente e confortevole è una vacanza ideale per una rilassante vacanza in famiglia. 3 camere da letto, 2 bagni, due zone giorno, una con TV, DVD e videoregistratore. Sala Rumpus con tavolo da ping pong. Accogliente stufa a legna. Giardino curato con barbecue e mobili da giardino. A soli 2 minuti a piedi da una spettacolare spiaggia dell'oceano e ad un isolato da un vivace centro commerciale pieno di caffè all'aperto, ristoranti e negozi di articoli da regalo.

Great pet friendly getaway
We have stayed at Bacchus family home three times now. It is always a pleasure to return, as the property is comfortable, warm, conveniently located and quiet. Being pet friendly, it also means that our four legged child also gets a holiday! Joy & Leigh are the ultimate hosts, making sure everything is right for your stay. we thoroughly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay in Apollo Bay
The house was clean and we felt welcomed as we walked in the door. The layout of the house was great for our family group which consisted of 3 generations - preschool age children, their parents, and grandparents. It was walking distance to the beach as well as to the coffee shops in town (even the 2 year old walked/ran into town and back).
The wood fired coronara heater kept the whole living and dining area of the house warm. A great asset for our winter visit.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay at this house, overall. It is always hard to find decent rental properties that accept dogs, but this one fit the bill in that regard, as it has a lovely enclosed backyard with an enormous shade tree. We had no anxiety about leaving the dogs alone in the yard for a few hours while we went off and did things.
The laundry was well-equipped, and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and glassware, which makes a nice change. The fireplace was lovely.
The downside was that the property was very tired looking and the house smelled distinctly of mould when we opened the front door. The beds were very hard, too.
Joy is great to correspond with. I just think this property needs to be overhauled completely.

Perfect house for a family reunion over a few days
The house was very comfortable, loved the large enclosed garden and the kitchen is very well equipped for a rental. We cooked a storm and BBQed and played table tennis and went to the beach. The sun room is lovely and breezy in the afternoon and the garden nice and shady. Thank you Joy for being so helpful and letting us stay in your lovely house!

Great Family beach house
My family (two parents, 4 y.o and a baby) had a great time at this spacious house. It had a great cozy feel to it and the photos on Stayz do not do it justice. We loved eating, playing and using the shower outside after a day at the beach and the location was great too. Our 4 year old was able to walk to the shops (with a piggy back here and there). We would definitely stay again!

Serene recharge with a beach friendly home.
A lovely homely stay in a clean, relaxing home with plenty of relaxing space both indoors and out. Excellent communication with the hosts, lots to do for those colder days ( books, table tennis, dvds, puzzles). An easy walk to the beach, eateries and the shops. We have stayed here many times and will be back again.

Great propperty in a great location
Thank you Joy for making the process so easy and for ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. You were correct in saying the fire keeps the whole property toasty warm - it was lovely. The property is extremely comfortable and we couldn't ask for a better spot. Walking distance to the beach and all of the cafes and shops and Apollo Bay is a great holiday spot. And five star rating for the host for looking after us and the great communication prior to our arrival. Very much made our little holiday a five star stay and we will definitely be back.

Cosy beach house
Loved our 2 night stay as we had everything we needed. Fireplace, large yard and master bedroom with ensuite upstairs were standouts. The balcony off the master was perfect to sit and enjoy the breeze and hear the ocean. Joy was a pleasure to deal with and I would recomend this place for a beach getaway.

Absolutely home away from home feel
Thank you Joy for welcoming us to stay at your lovely home. It was perfect for our family of four and our little dog Charli! Fireplace was perfect on those cold windy days. I had the upstairs bedroom all to myself and felt like a Queen. Will definitely book again next time we’re in town. So close to the shops and everything you need.

Beautiful stay
We had such a lovely few days down at Apollo Bay. The house was just perfect for what we wanted - close to the beach, lovely and clean, plenty of space to spread out and a beautiful backyard for our dog to enjoy. We even had a koala wander through the yard during our visit! We will definitely be back for another stay.

Two Couples who are Long Term Friends
The four of us have been close friends for just under 50 years and we each have a small dog. The dogs enjoy our joint holidays too. The accommodation was conveniently close to town (and coffee shops) and the beach was even closer. The layout and presentation of the house was warm and inviting and just encouraged us to sit back and relax.
We are sure we will be regular returning visitors.

Great weekend
Property was as advertised. Joy was lovely to deal with and contacted me a couple of times with extra information about what was on in the area. She made sure we packed enough for the cold weather. Kids loved the house and all the puzzles, we had a great time putting them together. Thanks for a great weekend!

A great family house
The house is well located, 2 blocks from shopping centre. The house has many different options for a family stay. We liked the fact that our 4 legged family member could also stay. Joy was very helpful with our booking and during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay and look forward to returning again.

Spacious house near the beach!
We were 4 adults, a toddler and a baby and appreciated the size of the house. Enough room for everyone with a lovely sun deck for family meals. The beach is within 5 minute walking distance. The house can be a bit cold if there is no sun but the fire place provides a cosy atmosphere on cooler days and in the evening. Communication with the host was easy.

Clean, comfortable, great location
The location of this home is great, only a short 5 minute walk to main shops in Apollo Bay and the beach is even closer. The home had everything we needed, there is no air conditioning, we were there in summer however did not need one. My mum stayed with us and requires the use of a walker, the steps leading into the house are quite high, not very good for someone with a bad hip, however once inside there was plenty of room to help her negotiate her walker. The backyard was great for our large dog (side gate approx 150 cm high). The house has character, with thoughtful finishes and was clean, enabling us to feel comfortable. We would love to return and experience a lovely winters holiday here.
