Grande livello principale open concept con cucina completamente attrezzata con ripiani in granito, armadi in ciliegio, doppio forno e frigorifero per vino. We spent my sister’s bachelorette weekend in York, and our stay was incredible! Quick and easy communication with the owners and the house was so clean and comfortable. It was the perfect home base for a lovely weekend. We love how much character the house has.

Convient location, walking distance to Longsands Beach, Nubble Light Houst, Shortsands Beach and downtown York. The home is equipped with all the ammenities required for a comfortable stay and the layout is greta for relaxing and convesing with family and or friends.

Very old property, smells old. Needs complete paint outside. Floors squeak everywhere. Bathrooms are old and need complete makeover. Best part was going to downtown worse part was knowing we had to go back and sleep there. Open all windows trying to get the smell out but no help. The entire family was so disappointed.
I wish I knew this before we stayed hope this helps the next family.

We stayed here for a low key bachelorette party and had a blast. The house had everything we needed and provided us a big comfy space to hang out. The hot tub was excellent :) Beds comfy and excellent appliances, bathrooms, everything. Would stay again!

The house was wonderful. Wish we could have been there longer than a weekend. The only thing that I questioned was one of the Queen bedrooms, I was under the impression had two twin beds as well. It was a rollaway and a small toddler bed. It turned out fine because one of the ladies was unable last minute to make the trip. All I all the house was in a great area, walkable to the beach and bonus, it was the week end of The York Fall Fair which we were able to walk to.

Nicely appointed house in a great location with great signage throughout. Walking to York or the Hubble Lighthouse is easy. Other popular destinations are short driving times.
Six of us stayed and were very comfortable. It was nice to have various items like spices, condiments, cleaning supplies available for use. Linens and towels are extra.
Owners are very responsive and friendly. We would visit again.

We had four generations stay at the main house and cottage for a beach vacation. Lori and Peter made sure that the house was fully equipped with everything we needed and more! The hot tub was so nice on chilly evenings and we loved having a game night in the large dining room. We even had a cornhole competition on the big lawn! Our 3 generations had a great time at this big old home with all the modern updates. Perfectly situated between Long Sands and Short Sands, the house has plenty of room to spread out and we all loved the big porch, where we had coffee in the morning and cocktails at night.

Our group has been having a get a way for the last 26 years and this house at the top of the list. It fit the group perfectly and was well equipped. Even though the weather wasn’t great there was lots to see and do in the area. Sorry we didn’t get to the beach. All agreed we would consider coming back even though we have never repeated a location. Thanks for your hospitality

Rented the house with some girlfriends for a weekend. The house is ideally located. We took several walks around the area and to and from restaurants. It was incredibly quiet in April, and felt like we were in on a great secret. The house was well appointed and had so many interesting and beautiful things in its decor. As pretty as it was it still feels homey and lived in. So easy to relax there. The hot tub was amazing. The hosts were easy to communicate with, they left clear instructions, and were even kind enough to arrange a pick up for me later when I realized I left a bunch of clothes in the closet. Highly recommend and would love to return.

We stayed in early November and had unusually warm weather . Short walk to 2 beaches and the lighthouse. Quiets neighborhood at least at this time of year. Most restaurants were closed for the season. But there are lots of options a short drive away. . The house is very spacious and well supplied. Owners were very easy to communicate with.

Check in and out was effortless. The hosts let us know what to expect and all was in order when we checked in. We did have to make our own beds so this was the only extra step- I suppose because we paid extra for the linens this surprised me. Hosts were nice and we enjoyed the house immensely.

House is very nice and has enough room for several couples plus little ones. Beaches are close and the town of York is very cute. Loved how well stocked the kitchen was as we ate dinner at home several nights. Although we loved all the knick knacks and music theme, it was hard to keep little 3 yr old twins from trying to explore these treasures, so probably better for families with older kids. Overall, it's a great property with a lovely history and helpful owners. Thanks for sharing your home with us. It was pir first visit to Maine and we loved the area. Next time maybe less thunderstorms!@

Beautiful property with comfortable and whimsical decor. Loved the wrap around porch and deck chairs. It was useful having window fans in the bedrooms, as we experienced an unusually warm week. It was our first time visiting York. We found the town to be okay. We certainly preferred Portsmouth and Ogunquit for shopping and dining. However, Short Sands Beach was a wonderful place. Our two and four year old granddaughters didn’t want to leave both the warm sand or cold water.

Myself and five of my best friends took a trip to York, ME. For the weekend. We could not have asked for a better house it had everything we needed for a relaxing time away from the craziness of our everyday life. Relaxing in the hot tub was wonderful and the rooms were very nice and loved reading about the history of the house. We spent three wonderful days in this beautiful, historical home right near Short Sands. The house was extremely well stocked with plenty of room for a large family gathering! We really enjoyed being able to stay in, cook, eat together, and enjoy the beautiful wrap around porch. The home is beautifully decorated with unique and antique finishes that really made the house feel welcoming. We appreciated the thorough instructions, easy communication, and extended check out. We hope to stay someday again!

After staying home since the beginning of COVID, the family decided to rent this incredibly beautiful, perfectly situated home in York Beach. Our three generations enjoyed the stunning decor, comfortable living, jacuzzi, BBQ and side yard for throwing the football. The twenty somethings especially liked hanging out in the evening on the upper porch right outside their bedroom doors. Everything was delightful. We can't wait to return in the future.
