Place is run down. Needs some TLC. 2nd night in someone tried to break in our room while we were sleeping. I woke up to a hand in door trying to get chain opened. No one did anything and we were not compensated. It was scary.

The on site restaurant serves great food at great prices. The fresh strawberry smoothie at bz8 was amazing. Loved the free coffee on tap until 11am.

The pool wasn't wasn't totally clear and there was a bit of sand/ grit in the shallow part.

Staff was very friendly. Restaurant had nice choices and food was very good. Room was comfortable and clean.

Location worked as an overnight stopover on our way to the next destination but we wouldn’t have stayed for more than a night because the town didn't have a lot of tourist activities. The hotel itself was nice but it was in close proximity to derelict buildings.

Wanted to swim but pool was dirty. Interior of room was clean and aired out but entrance lock and handles were dirty. I could not adjust shower head and it was spraying to the wall.

Site is being renovated, but be really enjoyed it because of the staff and how easy everything was. They were very accommodating.

The grounds need some TLC, but it was also obvious they were in the middle of that. Otherwise nothing. Great stay for the price.

Staff was pleasant. Rooms were large.

Loved the warm welcome extended by the staff , very friendly and engaging . Staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and requirements were addressed promptly and effectively . Whether it was extra towels needed , or the use of a kettle , Iron, extra bottled water, or Laundry services , the staff was always available to provide us with what was needed right away. They guided us to recommended restaurants and provided directions to places we wanted to visit during our trip. They are also making improvements and expanding the facilities to include an on premise restaurant and swim up bar and larger pool .. Would certainly visit them again .. Special mention to the security staff who ensured our security peace of mind was of paramount importance and our vehicle was always properly secured in their gated parking facilities.

Improved lighting around the bathroom mirror would be one recommendation to help with shaving and applying makeup etc..

Nicely appointed, clean, and roomy

There is no vanity light, only a small light on the ceiling, very dark when shaving. The plumbing needs to be updated, the showerhead sprays sideways, but I had the option to use the hand shower
