noisy and the double bed is small for 2 adults. lightings for the 2 room was abit dark. especially for the bathroom.

- nice modern rooms - staff very lovely and helpful when arranging birthday things - had an issue with air-con in the first room but they changed us rooms and all was fine - good location

- they have escalators in the hotel but they don't work, so but useless - small fridges in the room - aircon seems to turn off after a while and room heats up quick

The location was quite central, easily walkable to most places of interest. Staff friendly and helpful. Room is clean, beds very comfortable and adequate bathroom facilities. We didn't have hot water on the first evening. It was a plumbing issue which was quickly fixed. Should we have an opportunity to visit Penang again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

Perhaps more frequent change of towels and beddings.

floor a bit dusty, lighting in the room a bit inadequate, air-conditioner at the gym is not working so we are not able to workout there

it's a bit of a long walk to the main tourist areas and there's no hotel restaurant for breakfast

The staff were lovely and the building / street has everything you could need. Really comfortable bed, nice modern room and only a AUD5 Grab taxi into the centre of the action.

The gym equipment is all quite dated, and the air-conditioner is regularly tuned off leaving the gym at about 30°c. Really too hot to be able to use the space comfortably. Leaving the air-con on for a few hours early morning would significantly help this though.

Location is convenient and quiet, close to Old Town, local busses etc. New buliding, clean. Generally good equipped, like bed lamps, power supply next to bed, kettle and cups, nice beds.

No place to hang your towels, the building seems emty and abandoned. Not very cosy.

Nice pillows to sleep on, aircond quiet and cold, hot water for shower adequate , room smells nice
