We have stayed at many rentals over the years, and this was definitely the worst one we ever stayed in. It is NOT even close to being newly renovated. The fridge was dirty/old. The stove looked about 25-30 years old...even had rust on the top - I didn't even want to set anything on top of it and definitely not cook in it. The place was overall dirty. The furniture was falling apart - there was a piece of cardboard under the cushion of the chair, to keep the cushion from falling through the chair. Light fixtures with no covers. I always read reviews but take the bad ones with a 'grain of salt', still booking the place and have an amazing stay. NOT TRUE WITH THIS PLACE. It was overall dingy and dirty! I should have listened to the bad reviews. The only thing going for this place, is the location.

Great place to stay. Very clean and within walkable distance to the beach. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed a few nights in Destin at this property and we were really happy with everything. The condo was clean and plenty of supplies during our stay. Some of the cabinets had loose hinges and some of the areas needed to be painted but overall it was clean and a good couple of nights stay. The pool being so close was a big hit with my kids!

This property is not as advertised, stay at your own risk. I ended up vacating this property within one day of checking in, creating a horrible experience for my family. 1. Condo is not recently remodeled as advertised. 2. Host/owner don’t answer calls or email. Good luck getting any assistance from VRBO. 3. Refrigerator doesn’t work. 4. AC doesn’t work and in need of maintenance (temp when we arrive was 79 degrees and the temp never went down). Unacceptable in Florida high temperatures!! 5. Dryer is not operational. 6. Unit is filthy hasn’t been cleaned in years based on condition.

The location of the condo was great, easy short walk to beach, Alvin’s & restaurants. We enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately the description said newly renovated but it wasn’t. It’s an older condo with issues. Not a deal breaker for a stay but shouldn’t say newly renovated in the description. A few FYI’s- cable is only a few channels & no local stations. We had to use the HDMI for the cable to hook to my laptop to get any kind of good television. Bring extra toilet paper- read the description…you get a started roll (our was already half used and then we were on our own. Seems like a basic amenity but apparently not there. The AC vents are in the ceiling, they drip down with onto you with condensation. Our couch was unusable for the first 3 days because the cushions were soaked from the water dripping down on it. Lots of little things broken, not properly maintained. To the owner- during our a stay a painter showed up to paint the door @ 9am. We heard a knock on the door but did ignore it since we had just woke up. The painter was given the code to our door & started to come in. You should never have given him the code to the door for our safety and to protect our belongings. That was very disappointing. We would not stay here again.

We had a great time while visiting Florida, but the VRBO could use a little love. The listing provided states newly renovated, while many things were broken, near broken or dirty.

This is our 5th year staying at Crystal village. The location is very convenient to all things Miramar. We also love how quiet the community is.
