The price and you can keep your bags there if you want to go hiking for a few days

The bathroom was dirty, no toilet roll for 2 days, 50% of the time there was no hot water. One bathroom for a whole floor with 4 rooms. Curtains do not cover 30% of the window. No forks in the kitchen. Children running around like its a play centre. We were in the dorm asleep and a member of staff came in and turned the light on and then woke us up to ask which beds were empty, thats your job to know that, not mine - especially when we were asleep, thanks 👍🏼

The Staff really friendly and helpful with any question, It's really cheap. good social vibe. lots of common space upstairs, with a pool table even.

you get what you pay for, the shower was almost impossible to adjust either cold or burning hot. The room was very dark, window to the corridor. The common toilet had no vent and it was smelly after use. it was right in front of our room so the smell. The kitchen is alright, however could improve for sure

located in a quiet & safe looking residential street so it’s great for a good night’s sleep.

Good price and the hostel has a lot of potential.

The location isn't great, the hostel is a little hard to find. As a private room we got a 4-bed dorm for 2 people. The kitchen wasn't very clean.

Really cozy low-budget place. The host is very friendly. You can rent everything you for the hiking tours in the surroundings at the hostel. Big plus: you can see the Cotopaxi Volcano from the roof terrace and the host welcomed us with local shots.

Very nice stay, kind owner, big kitchen, comfortable beds and what we enjoyed the most was the table tennis!

lovely big rooms with comfortable beds and nice communal area and kitchen. owner was very relaxed, welcoming and helpful. location is quiet and you can easily access everything you need.

more information about the volcano excursions on offer would have stopped us booking with a more expensive competitor!

The alpacas are sooo cute! Grace is a lovely hostess. Breakfast was delicious- fresh fruit, granola, pancake, eggs, coffee. Dinner was also great- Grace was very conscious of any dietary needs. The room was cosy and warm with a wood stove and many comfy blankets. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nice guesthouse. Friendly staff. Clean and good kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Quiet. Big rooms. Nice cat. Really good price quality ratio.

Only one shower & two bathrooms

Juan Carlos is a really nice guy, he answered all of our questions, you can also rent hiking poles, water bottles, boots, crampons ect. He will also store your larger backpacks while you go on hikes ($0.50 a day). Hot water shower.

One shower and two toilets for an entire hostel is a little sparse, only really an issue if everybody is getting up at the same time though. The kitchen could do with more ustensile as a few essentials were missing.

only one shower in the property although was big there was a lot of people staying there. location was a bit far out, 15 min walk to terminal and 10ish to mercardo.

Clean room, clean shared bathroom with warm water with good pressure. Equipped shared kitchen. Staff speaking good English, gave us a lot of useful tips, willing to answer any question and ready to help you with organising trips to Cotopaxi and/or Quilotoa.

We were not provided with towels neither the soap (there was some soap in the shared bathroom but we did not know if we could use it so we did not). There was a tank with drinking water in the kitchen but it was empty during our whole stay (we filtered tap water with our own filter). The hostel equipment is a bit old and there could be better mattresses.

Great location, value for money and very helpful staff. If you are hoping to hike this is the perfect place to stay with all the recommendations

Basic facilities

Good place to stay for Cotopaxi or loop. Dorms are big. Location is good near the restaurants and supermarket. We booked day tour to Cotopaxi from hostel and it was really nice.

Only one shower and two toilets, so sometimes you had to wait your turn. Kitchen quite simple and doesn’t really have equipments to cook.

Easy check-in and very friendly, cosy room and good information for the area. gladly again
