It was so cosy and had such a warm ambience about it. Had all the essentials you need and the location was perfect.

Has everything you could want. They really have thought of everything. The lodge is in a beautiful location with so many nice shops within easy walking distance.

Well appointed lodge, comfortable and cosy. Hot water bottle was an awesome addition ☺️ Host went out of her way to get my husband gluten free cookies for arrival aswell.

Bathroom very very small and was a bit of a shock when 2 people walked through the garden to the house. The lodge has windows all along the front and was very nearly an embarrassing situation 😳😶

Comfortable, well appointed, clean and convenient

This is a delightful little place to stay that was perfect for myself and my ten year old daughter. It was really unique-a sweet little whimsical cottage in the garden that felt absolutely safe and private. It is gorgeous inside and out, has everything that you could need, and lots of extra touches that give it a magical little feel.

This is my third stay due to work requirements in the area. Please see my other reviews. The high quality and attention to detail each time is a credit to the host.

Second time i have stayed here for work purposes. Easy access to supermarkets and a local co-op, pubs, restaurants, independent "boutique" type shops all within a 5 min walk. This does not distract from the wonderful setting of the accommodation and surrounding area. The host is friendly and accommodating. The attention to detail is impressive : a dressing gown, slippers, hot water bottle, tea, coffee, even a pint of milk ( water etc) was provided. Kitchenette has a good selection of items. If you do need to cook its by way of a microwave. And wifi is free. Already booked for a third work visit.

Claire is a wonderful host; she's kind, down to earth and cares a lot about guest satisfaction. The lodge itself is situated in a dreamy garden; it's quiet, peaceful and perfect for anyone looking to escape the tumult of city life. It is clean and feels homely because of the great attention to detail. We also loved the fact that it is insulated really well and you can easily control the temperature. An added bonus is Yogi - he made our stay even more magical. So cuddly and playful; a bundle of joy!

Good communication from the host. Accommodation is located within an idyllic setting. It is tastefully decorated with some great personal touches.I was travelling for work so did not get a chance to visit the area but there looks like some great pubs and restaurants etc within a few minutes walking distance.
