To be honest, I had low-ish expectations of this rental: Studebaker Blvd. is a major thoroughfare in this part of Long Beach, and I had steeled myself for after-dark traffic noise and other potential problems. Not so! For one thing, the master bedroom is on the back yard side of the property, minimizing noise. Also, this end of Studebaker rarely sees traffic, at any time of the day: I felt comfortable making left turns either on Studebaker, or on the opposite side of the neighborhood, Los Coyotes Diagonal at almost any time of day. There were some minor hiccups — the carbon monoxide sensor beeped incessantly when I arrived — which the owner rectified after I notified him of the problem. The owner was communicative and helpful throughout. This was a Thanksgiving rental (mostly the week before). Would definitely rent again.

Lots of space for my husband and our two kids. Had everything we needed for cooking. Close to grocery stores and friends that we were visiting.

This old house was charming and comfortable. It was clean and in a good neighborhood. We felt safe and enjoyed the luxury of the private pool.

We stayed a week here. Everything was spot on, as in the listing. We enjoyed the pool. Neighborhood is quiet and seems safe. We would definitely stay again!

The house is in an older neighborhood off a semi-busy street. The neighbors all seemed quite and we felt safe. There was a grocery store, mall, and restaurants within minutes of the house. The pool was clean and perfect for our family with two teen daughters. The house allowed the girls to have their own rooms which was huge for us. It had a smart tv so we just signed into our streaming apps each night and watched our regular shows. We were a little less than 30 minutes from the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We had a great stay! Kids used the pool multiple times each day. Spent lots of time outside relaxing and reading. Parking was easy, and had everything we needed. We would definitely rent again!

This was a great landing place for us during our trip to visit family in the Long Beach area as well as enjoy a few of the So Cal activities (Knotts Berry Farm, etc.). It's located in a quiet neighborhood, close to freeways, and offers plenty of space for families. And if you're like us when in So Cal, enjoying an In-N-Out burger is a must. Plenty of those around this location! Unfortunately, the weather was the "May Gloom" so we didn't get to enjoy the pool. Chad was a great host!

Our family came out to celebrate a 70th birthday party. The house worked out perfect for us. It was a great location and had everything we needed. We will definitely look for this home the next time we come to California to visit family.

Worked great for us and our 3 year old. Location is central to the beach, Disney, etc, but in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay here. For the price, you get everything you need and a central location for visits to disneyland, universal, etc. Close to groceries and shopping, but in a quiet residential neighborhood, we would stay here again. The only item that would make this house better would be a dishwasher.

Plan - everything need was right at our finger tips

This property provided all the basics and great location for the price. Family of 5 had space and full size washer/dryer. Easy driving access to local places. If any improvement, the kitchen could use a few more pots and pans. (Pool is not heated so we couldn't use it in late December.)

Great little house not far from lots of activities. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Second time staying here. Brand new kitchen and bathroom floors, no more creacks. Used the kitchen every night for cooking dinner. There is plenty of space for a large family/group. It was too cold to use the pool, but it's nice to have in the summertime. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner, Chad. Will most likely be the first place I look at the next time I travel to Long Beach.

We stayed for eight days and saw Disney and Universal studios and went to the beach and it’s 25 minutes from Disney without having to go on a highway and the neighborhood is great and there’s stuff all over close by. The pool in the backyard was perfect for the kids and it was just a very pleasant place to stay.

Had a great stay that was needed while we did a remodel to our house. Property was exactly as described and communication with the owner was easy and timely. Definitely recommend. While I live nearby, the area is also great and close to parks, amusement parks, the beach, restaurants and more.

The house is perfect for family - We all enjoy on the pool - long beach is near beautiful beach - Chad is a very perfect, organized, helpful and kind host - the house is well equipped and the neighborhood is very quiet and really friendly - we're enjoyed our stay (1 week)

Wanted a place close to our son and his family and found this. The pool was a perfect bonus. Chad was responsive and everything was as advertised. Would return!

The owner was very easy to communicate with. The listing accurately reflects the location and home/amenities. My family (2 adults & 2 kids) were very comfortable in the space. My kids really enjoyed the pool. The neighborhood was quiet. We stayed on days where there was a scheduled street sweeper (so we had to make sure to park on the correct side of street which was outlined in the notes from the owner) and a nice neighbor came over to meet us and make sure we were aware of the rules as well. We went to Disneyland 2 of the days we stayed and it was an easy 20 minute drive on surface roads (nice to avoid the freeways/traffic). So glad we chose to rent here vs. Anaheim. Definitely would rent this property again if/when we visit in the future.

House was accurately described. The house was so clean and had all you need for a great stay. There is only one bathroom in the house so we had to plan ahead for everyone to shower and get ready for the day, but having our own pool made up for that. It was such a great way to start and end our days. Having a lovely private pool in the busy LA area was just perfect. The temperature was just wonderful too. The neighborhood was so quiet and safe feeling. There are tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. The beach is just a 10 minute drive away and hopping on the highways to get around the LA area was so easy. We will for sure stay here again when we visit CA again. Thanks for a great vacation!

Overall we really liked the house. Was clean and had everything we needed. Location was great, on the corner in a safe neighborhood. Kids loved the pool! Nice that had hangers for your clothes were included as well as dishes. We really felt at home. We can see that updates have been made like the fridge and stove to name a few. Can understand it's a work in progress. Bedroom and bathroom doors get stuck to frame when opening. Could us some sanding/replacing. Can wake up guests sleeping in next rooms. Good sized rooms, big living room. Nice landscaping. Owner always responded.

Our stay was very enjoyable, our grandsons enjoyed the pool when they would visit us after school. The area was very quiet and relaxing. The place had everything we needed just like home. We hope to come back next year and definitely rent this place again.

Property is easily found in a quiet, established area. Central to all the sights, LA, the coast, and San Diego. The property is managed well, has everything you need and is well cared for. It was a pleasure staying. Thank you!

Family came down to LA area for a short Disneyland trip. The house was conveniently located. It was a short distance away from Disneyland and the beach. We will definitely consider it again.
