My stay at Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location is commendable, situated in a convenient and accessible area. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The facilities provided were acceptable, meeting the basic requirements for a comfortable stay.

However, one aspect that could use improvement is the breakfast offerings. While sufficient, the variety and quality could be enhanced to better match the overall positive experience offered by the hotel.

The view from the room is excellent with a huge window. The bathroom also has same view which I really like. The room is big and very well designed.

The breakfast has not many options, and the pan cake is dried out. The smell of the blanket is not nice.

メイン道路に面しているので、交通の騒音は大きかった。棟が２つに分かれているので、朝食会場へ行くのに迷ってしまった。

部屋がおしゃれ。従業員も親切でフレンドリー。プールもジムもある。

ルームサービスの品数がもう少し多ければありがたい。それから、オーダーしてから届くまでの時間を事前に伝えた方がよい。1時間待たされてオーダーが通っているか不安になった。

Location was not bad although not near a mall. Loved the decor and newness of the hotel, it’s in great condition and really provides a luxury experience with amazing smells in lobby as well.

Surprisingly could hear motorbikes and bit of traffic at level 29, but could not hear the mosque prayers which was great

Location is ideal for us to move around to our destination. Breakfast is ok, but will be better to have more choice.

Traffic noise can be a little annoying.

I’m going to sleep around 22:30 on Saturday, July 22nd, when I’m using the bathroom , suddenly the lights turn off and When sleep, suddenly TV and lights are turned on in the room. Of course, I didn’t press switches. After that, I was sleeping at around 23:30 and the TV turned on again, and I complained. And they said they would change the room or want to check so have to send techinican. Why should I spend my time watching you fix it without sleeping? And What guarantees that a new room can sleep without problems? So I asked for a refund. Of course, I have no intention of getting a refund. What’s angrier is the manager didn’t say anything sorry or apologize. That’s why I’m writing this review. And as a person who likes Bonvoy hotels, this Mercure Gatot subroto hotels has many problems. Just as the face of the country is the airport, the face of the hotel is the reception. Of course, I recommend it for those who want to ruin the weekend.

Friendly staff, good buffet spread

I booked a non smoking room for 2 nights. However, I was given a smoking room on my first night, which was terrible. Though the staff was able to change my room to a non-smoking for the 2 night. Had this hiccup been avoided, the stay would have been great.

Location in the center but also center of traffic

Cleaning standard was poor. Bathub not cleaned. You need to care with details as you are four stars hotel. First to check is the water faucet if there any finger prints or water mark

The hotel clean and cosy, personnel is super friendly.

I booked the executive room to have a nice and a wide-window view. However, there were only two (no-smoking) executive rooms left: one with a backyard view and the second is with its half window closed. I chose the second option. I was offered a free breakfast as compensation- thank you. Still i booked that particular room for a nice view and didn’t get it.

The hotel is new and mostly very clean. Conveniently located on Gatot Sobroto, so easy to get anywhere with a taxi. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good. Overall a good deal for the price. Nice food in the coffee shop in the lobby.

It can be quite noisy as it is located right next to Gatot Sobroto. So unfortunately the pool is not enjoyable with all the traffic noise. Wouldn't recommend the spa treatments. The massage was way below average of what you can get in Jakarta elsewhere. Also, the communication with the staff at the spa was very difficult due to lack of English language skills. Staff in general doesn't speak English well (also compared to other hotels). Should provide some training. The coffee shop in the lobby only opens at 8.30 (too late for me if I want to get a cup of coffee to go to the office). When asked the night before, I was told that they open at 8 am. So I waited, just to be told that it is 8.30. In the evening they close at 23.00, but when I asked for a drink to go at 22.35, they told me that last order was at 22.30. It's just inconvenient and unnecessary. Even though there are clear signs that towels will onyl be exchanged if put on the floor or in the tub, they were changed every day - there is really no need to.

Excellent hotel

The room is clean, big and comfortable. The staff are professional and helpful. Many choices of foods and good.
