The breakfast was great. The location is good. The beds are very private.
The bathrooms were in a kind or awkward spot and were small.

Ein sehr schönes Hostel, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wenige Zimmer, was ich persönlich sehr schöne finde. Dadurch lernt man andere Gäste schneller kennen.

everything was great, service, rooms, location etc! Would strongly recommend to take their tour to the pyramids!

I liked the atmosphere of the place and that it was in a great area. I met a lot of people there and the vibe was really good. It was good to have free coffee throughout the day and breakfast in the morning. The staff were also very helpful and it made my stay enjoyable. I would recommend it!
I didn’t know how many people were going to be in the dorm before I booked it. Although it was a comfortable and clean space, it turned out there were 10 people in the dorm so sometimes it was loud with different people having different schedules…also I’m 6 ft tall so the beds were a bit short for me. It was in the pricier side considering it was a 10 person dorm.

- Super nice and friendly atmosphere - staff and people are open and welcoming. Casa Pancha offers a great variety of tours and events and supports you when you have questions.
- loved the kitchen from which you have a nice view and can relax with a cup of coffee or tea
- dorms are super well organized and equipped, you’ll get lots of privacy for a dorm
- Cleanliness is top level
- Breakfast ist great
Nothing really, maybe the bathrooms could use an extra door towards the dorms but it didn’t bother me much. People were respectful and considerative

This is a beautiful hostel with a minimalist, earthy design. We had a room with a window that opened out to the street (not so common in Mexican accommodations, we found), which was good for us to get some fresh air and it wasn't too loud, even though there is a busy street nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a common kitchen that was so great to have access to, and the breakfast provided was simple, but worked for us. It seems to attract digital nomad types, but there were also a few backpackers (who were more interested in socializing). The location is pretty good - a little on the outskirts of La Condesa, but easy enough to walk to the center of activity. We enjoyed staying here.
Our experience was mostly positive. I suppose I would have liked there to be more shared (and included) activities - I'm comparing to another hostel that did this. For instance, walking tours, Spanish classes, game nights, food tours, and outings to hear live music. All of those were included in the price (just gave tips) for the other hostel I'm comparing with. The price was a bit higher than I normally pay, but decent for the area.

I loved the staff - very kind and helpful. Emmanuel and Christina were especially lovely.
The hot water wasn't working the last few days I was there. Also, there were some girls who were talking loudly very early in the morning and woke me up. Would be nice if the quiet hours could be reminded to guests upon arrival.

A very comfortable, clean hostel in La Condesa. This was the first place I stayed in Mexico, and so I thought I would splurge a bit. The beds are comfortable and the bed screens offer good privacy. The breakfast in the morning is good (Oats, yogurt, fruit, toast) and good coffee is complementary all day. This is a good hostel for working remotely. Restaurants and the La Roma neighborhood are a close walk. I met some good people and the hostel hosts some fun events. I cannot praise the staff more, especially Guadalupe who helped me out more times that I can say. Thank you!
In the room "Fermin", there is only one toilet and one shower for 8 people. They, along with the sinks, are very close to some beds, so there was not too much privacy in that situation. Other rooms have better arrangements and more toilets/showers. There are other toilets throughout the hostel though which fixed the issue.

The hostel is in a superb location in the Condesa district of Mexico City. It is modern and clean. The staff were very helpful. The dorm beds were private and were more like individual pods. There is a comfortable sitting area. The restaurant high in the building is light with a superb view. The breakfasts were excellent, with fresh fruit, usually mango; home made muesli; yogurt; toast; jam and good coffee. The volunteers were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the family dinner and helping with the prep. One of the best hostels that I have ever stayed in.
one needed to know how to operate the showers to get warm water out of them.

Fabulous bougie hostel in the middle of La Condesa, perfect for digi nomads and solo travellers. The hostel organises tons of great activities, plus it was super easy to relax by yourself if you prefer. The bunks are modern and big, with extra storage and good lighting. The showers in the rooms work well and it was nice and quiet at night. The breakfast is great and all the communal spaces are well kept and enjoyable, with a really sociable atmosphere.
The bunks are really sealed in, so on warmer nights there's no airflow - there are fans available from reception though.

The terrace is so beautiful. breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly. bring good earplugs though!

- good location in a nice area (condesa)
- many restaurants and bars nearby, but it’s very quiet
- it’s very clean (I think it’s the cleanest hostel I‘ve ever been)
- shampoo and shower gel is provided
- the common rooms are very bright and it’s a very positive vibe
- the staff and volunteers are super friendly
- they have activities every day, but it’s not a party hostel (activities are more like yoga, soundbaths and so on)
- you can book tours at the reception
- the beds were comfortable and the curtains great (when you closed them, it was completely dark)
- kitchen was fully equipped & breakfast was good (bread, butter, jam, joghurt, fruits, cereals, coffee/tea, water)
everything was great

The location is the best part about the place. Safe and vibrant neighborhood.
The rooms and restroom are clean.
Check in and check out went smoothly.
Staff are friendly.
Breakfast is not very good and is often just fruits/cereal. A standard breakfast with eggs would be appreciated. Also, presentation matters.
No drinking water on each floor. We have to go to the terrace area for water.
Beds are not made on request. Only done once a week or after checkout.
Rooms can get hot, but they may have a fan in the reception area though nobody informed us about that.

Good location, and had a nice big and light filled common rooms.
Super noise from the street. They've made big efforts with interior design, etc, but kept the same old barely functional windows in place facing a what is essentially a multi-lane road with transport trucks.
Incredibly poorly designed with the shower/bathroom sitting within the very narrow room. You were either 1m from the toilet, 1m from the noisy door, or 1m from the noisy window. The air was always kind gross from shower steam and when people used the toilets, but if you had the window open the noise was insane. The sink area was always dirty and messy.
Full of digital nomads and the breakfast wasn't very good. Considering the price I would not stay here again.

The top terrace/room is stunning and the smartly designed dorm capsules are great. Lovely people and a calm yet social moodv
The dorms are large, some share 8 people to one bathroom and there is very little storage for luggage. Some hooks and shelves etc would probably help!

I arrived in Mexico City in a terrible state having gotten severe food poisoning the night before, I hadn’t slept and was still very unwell. The staff (especially Guadalupe) was amazing, letting me check in early so I could rest and then helping my partner organise a house call from a local doctor.
The rooms were incredibly cute comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Decor clean & sleek. Friendly & helpful staff. Good location. Very clean. Offer in house activities and tours (for a fee). The cooking class while I was there was alot of fun, interesting, interactive and a great opportunity to meet other travellers. Complete balanced, healthy breakfast.
Not sure my preference would be a sleeping capsule but that is personal preference. There are pros & cons. My room had no place to put your suitcase/backpack for packing/unpacking or to hang clothes to dry. In room toilet/shower/sinks would have been quieter with a door to separate them from the sleeping area.

First time staying in a hostel and when you factor in why you are staying in a hostel in the first place I would say this met all expectations and then some as far as comfort design and space and the location in relation to price which s the reason I chose it as I had a very short layover . There was a good range of travelers and the breakfast was nice .
Good design and plenty of light and friendly staff.
Liked the privacy of the bed cubicles and they had nice sheets and down comforters .
I stayed in the 4 bed mixed room .
Excellent location .. a bit of traffic noise at night.
Mexico City can be noisy. Comes with the territory .

I had a private room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated quite nicely. Water pressure in the shower was good and the hot water came on very quickly.
It was extremely loud. My room’s windows faced the road and there might as well not have been any windows there. The room was also right above the entrance door so I heard everything, from the door opening to it slamming shut, people walking in and up the stairs… that was really a shame.

The hostel is just as described and pictured, the dorms and common areas and clean and comfortable and the staff area very friendly and very facilitating! WIFI works well throughout and neighbourhood feels safe and lots of food and drink places nearby. Lots of group activities available also. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Mexico city!
