We loved everything about our stay. The art was engaging, the garden and Koi pond mesmerizing, the bed was great, the host was so welcoming, the place was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was so tasty. Central location, wonderful neighborhood with fabulous pizza close by. We wished we had had more time. Thank you, Steve, for all the wonderful touches that made our stay so pleasant.

Beautiful yard with a koi pond
I wasn’t expecting a suburban home with rules

The breakfast was exceptional with homemade yogurt, homemade granola, and fresh fruit.
Our host, Steve, was very friendly and personable. He made my significant other and I feel very much at home without sacrificing a feeling of respect for privacy.
My significant other and I are not from the area and Steve was able to make some excellent suggestions to us about great places to visit for sightseeing, eating, and wine tasting.
I would recommend a stay here to anyone who has an appreciation for art in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Nothing bad to say.

The eclectic artwork, the gracious host, and and the many amenities, including the furry friend, were a collective delight.

Breakfast was home made and delicious. Steve, the owner, is very sociable and friendly
We had to share the bathroom with other people.

Easy to find, nice walkable neighborhood. Friendly and helpful host who was able to accommodate for an early check in. He had recommended a local music venue which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. His homemade granola and fruit breakfast was delicious and the koi pond enchanting. Art everywhere was wonderful and upon knowing we enjoy live music, created a display of his photography from 1980’s concerts! The Sisyphus table was designed in the form of a yin/yang when we checked out. Very comfortable bed. I highly recommend My Big Art Project!

Breakfast was fabulous, fresh fruit, granola, yogurt and coffee. Steve was a warm and wonderful host, and the art displayed throughout the home was source of wonder and inspiration. The back yard landscaping, picnic area, koi pond and hummingbird action was a major bonus.
This property gets 10 out of 10.

The breakfast was great. It was homemade granola and yogurt with fruit. Good portion and healthy! It was filling and tasty, a good way to start my day with lots of meetings. Steve is very friendly and nice! The room is quiet and clean. Fun and beautiful arts through out the house! It’s better than I expected!
I didn’t like the marijuana smell from outside in the middle of the night.

Amazing host, super cool place (interactive art exhibit flow with the house), delicious breakfast, safe, comfortable and clean! I don’t want to give away too much, you need to explore yourself! If you are looking for a unique, fun, and relaxing experience, this is the place. :)

Breakfast was yogurt with homemade granola and fresh fruit. Plenty of coffee or tea.

Quiet neighborhood and inside at night as well. Having a coffee pot in the room similar to a hotel was nice. Very friendly and accommodating host. He can offer suggestions on the area if you ask.
Our room could use a darkening shade for the window to block the yard lights better.

What a beautiful, peaceful spot - and walking distance to downtown Santa Rosa! The house is truly unique: spotlessly clean, with beautiful wood finishes and amazing art everywhere you look. The room came equiped with everything I could ever possibly need. My only regret is I couldn't stay longer!

It was very clean and centrally located. The owner took us on a tour of his art collection. The art was fun, interactive and interesting. We fed the fish in the pond in the back yard and had a great time.
Nothing.

Steve’s BnB is so fascinating! It’s eclectic — every piece has a story, plus it’s clean, comfortable and a short walk to downtown Santa Rosa and the SMART train station. We stayed in the king room, which had a comfortable bed and a neat little kitchenette built into the closet. We traveled by bike and train, and Steve gave us secure bike parking.
The bathroom is shared, but that is well advertised. It’s a two room BnB so it’s easy to share.

This is like sleeping in an art museum. It was very beautiful. There were mobiles, wall art, a koi pond, and a sisyphus table. Bed was comfortable, towels were thick, everything was clean.
I really recommend this place. The only suggestion is that breakfast could have had a little more fruit or something. But the raspberries picked from his own garden were amazing!
