There is Just a sliding door between bed and bathroom which you can close really. You can't see something but smell the chlorined water

What a great hotel; location (near old part of Ipoh) and interiour. It’s a boutique hotel with just 7 rooms; which makes it very intimate and personal. Also, both owners are really nice and friendly.

Love the decor! The entire place was dotted with interesting art pieces to feast our eyes on. Location is very close to the popular food street. Beds were very comfortable. Lady boss and staff were kind and welcoming!

Made the decision to book Bedrock Hotel for our recent 4D3N stay on account of the excellent online reviews, and I must say that we were not disappointed. Bedrock may be a small hotel, but what it lacks in amenities of big hotels (eg. Pool, gym), is more than made up for by its excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is located within walking distance from both the new and old towns of Ipoh, and all the fantastic food on offer. Skip the hotel breakfast and try the local fare which are all located within a short hop from the hotel. For dinner, the charcoal fired claypot Lou Shu Fen at Restoran Chee Wah, just opposite the hotel for dinner comes highly recommended. We booked ourselves into the Bedrock Suite and the room was beyond our expectations! Comfortable sofas in the living room, king sized bed, walk-in wardrobe and vanity counter and spacious toilet with bathtub and separate his and hers sinks. Loved the fact that the huge TV set could be swivelled 360 so that we could watch TV in bed or seated in the living room. There was also a hot and cold water dispenser in the room that provided hot and cold water on demand. A huge shout out goes to Debbie, our hostess, who was ever eager to engage in banter with us and make recommendations on where to go for food and sightseeing activities. And a huge thanks also to her team of hotel staff who keep the place spotlessly clean and welcoming. Bedrock Hotel gets my two thumbs up and will be my top choice for future Ipoh trips.

The team were so helpful and kind. We booked the hotel last minute after canceling another reservation. The room was huge and beautifully clean. Breakfast was great too.

Nice hotel. Very conveniently located. Near lots of eateries and shops. Every room is fitted with cosway hot & cold water dispenser which is very unusual. The owner wife Derby is very kind, helpful and hospitable. Our first time to Ipoh and with no itinerary, with her help, she introduced us to nice places of interest and good restaurants. Our friend dropped his hotel room key (in a form of a card) at a restaurant nearby, and upon receiving a call from the restaurant, the hotel owner was so kind that he drove to the restaurant to pick up the room key on our behalf. We really appreciate their kind gesture. Staying at this hotel made us feel so cozy, comfortable & homely.

When i reached the hotel, the hotel staff is super responsible and helpful to explain all the facilities usage. The room with super big bed which can fit three normal size adults. The toilet is super clean and i like the design so much. Besides, the room also provide the coffee maker that satisfy me as well. Overall is a good stay for my family~

Loved the location, complementary parking right in front of the hotel, great service from the staffs and owner. Our room was clean and cosy. The beds were comfortable. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The hotel is perfect and the staff were just amazing. Great breakfast and a lovely bar/snug area to finish the day. Plenty of local restaurants for local food plus a very handy Korean and Japanese restaurants if you fancy a change

The breakfast can be better. Option for local cuisine will not be available if you go after 0900H although you will still have the standard American breakfast.
