The house is cute and a quick drive to the beach but we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. The downstairs walk in shower had hair, dirt and grim in the tile as well as the drain was clogged and didn’t allow for water to drain properly. The hot tub had scum and sand in it, so it was only used once. The gas stove top took awhile to get working and we had to turn off the fireplace in the living room in order for it to work. We showed up to check in at 3:58 (check in is at 4) and the cleaners were still there and were not very friendly. Definitely frustrated with the cleaning fee and hot tub fee considering it was in the condition it was.

It was the perfect and quiet location at Roads End. Easy walk to the beach at the quiet end of Lincoln City. Newer neighborhood and all homes are very maintained. The home was beautiful inside and out. Lots of seating for meals and playing card games. Kitchen is fully stocked-so impressive! Ocean views from the great room and main deck with a gas grill. Jacuzzi spa was perfect at the end of a relaxing and fun filled day. Only challenge is if you have seniors who have issues climbing stairs to get to the main living level. We highly recommend the Mill House otherwise.

The location and property were amazing. It would have been nice to have a hose and mop available on the top deck, there are a lot of pigeon's and they pooped on the deck, a lot, and with no way to clean it up it was hard to enjoy. But everything else was amazing. We would definitely book with Meredith lodging again, they have a lot of beautiful property along the coast.

Loved the location of this place. Nice, quiet neighborhood and charming decor and interior. Check in was easy, overall making the experience stress free. The view from the upper balcony is lovely and relaxing, with a very short drive or walk to the beach. The hosting team was very pleasant to work with, just unavailable for responses until right before the stay. After that, timely communication.
The only things I would mention are:
• While pets are allowed, the pet policy isn’t made easily available to see online. Instead, it is posted inside the house. It was a bit of a let down only because we tried to choose a location where our dogs were allowed on the furniture with us, only to find out upon arrival that it wasn’t permitted.
• The bathroom cleanliness wasn’t the best, like black residue left behind on the faucets with hair and dirt in the shower.

Everything was very well organized and clean apon arrival. The house didn’t dissapoint. The home is a short walk to the beach and is located in a quite neighborhood. Great views from the top balcony and a short drive to knoll trail head, casino, and grocery store. Only complaint is the door to get outside to the hot tub is located in the rear bedroom so anyone that wants to use it has to either go around the front or wall thru someones bedroom. This was a small thing. Everything else was amazing. Much appreciated!

This accommodation is beautiful. Dog friendly and perfect location for families with kids. Just a short walk to the beach. And absolutely everything you possibly could need has been thought of. Perfect weekend getaway.

This home has it all, I mean everything you could possibly need. In addition to all of the amenities, the home was truly beautiful and so comfortable. The ocean view was spectacular! The highlight of the trip for my 5 year old grandson was the friendly doe in the backyard. We were coming back from the hot tub and she was not more than a few feet from us. We will definitely be staying there again.

The house is so pretty and has a great view! We really enjoyed our stay. The weather was perfect and the house is so close to the beach. The perfect getaway. The only thing I would suggest is updated instructions for the tv. It would also be great to have some instructions for the grill gas hose hookup. But we made our dishes in the nice cast iron skillets in the kitchen. The kitchen is so well stocked with dishes, utensils and even a large spice selection. The bed was very comfortable too. We loved the lighting options in each room. The lamps create a nice warm ambiance. I loved the attention to detail to have books, binoculars, blankets and beach chairs. We will be back.

Was a great stay we really enjoyed our weekend. Our cars battery died when we where trying to leave and the friendly property manager stopped by and gave us a jump. Would definitely stay again.

The Mill House was perfect for our two families. The kitchen was stocked with every gadget, pan, cooking essential or spice that you might need. We cooked, baked, grilled, ground coffee, made frozen drinks etc! It was perfect. The house also has plenty of great books, games, movies, beach chairs, and a lovely hot tub. The neighborhood is beautiful and cozy and the walk to the beach is really easy and fun. We could also whale watch from the sunny, upstairs balcony. We bought wood from Safeway and made a fire for smores on the beach. Just the perfect stay. So thankful for all the thoughtful touches at this beautiful beach house.

My family just stayed at the Mill House over Fourth of July weekend. It was such a great house to rent.
It was fully stocked on everything you could imagine you would need. Great location, just a short walk to the beach.
Hot tub was outstanding. Lots of games, Xbox, and tv's in every room. We had ocean view from the 2nd level of the home.
I would recomment this home to all. I will definitely be staying there again!!

My friends and I needed a place to all stay to help with one of their proposals. We not only love the house and where it was located but that it fit all of our needs. It was so easy to check-in and out. We had such a wonderful time we didn’t want to leave. We had such a good time we have decided to make it an annual stay. We want to thank the property managers as we really enjoyed our stay.

We had the best weekend while staying in this house, there is so much open space and room for everyone. Enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone comfortably. The view was beautiful and the hot tub was amazing.

The house is as pictured. Better, even; the photos do not do justice to how close the ocean is. The kitchen was amazing, with plenty of pots and pans, knives, plates, and even spices for our various cooking projects. They also provided towels and beach toys, which were very much appreciated. The hot tub was delightful, easily fitting four adults with plenty of space to spread out and relax.
About the only downside would be the beds. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds, but the adults weren't fans of the mattresses on theirs. It's definitely a mileage may vary situation though, and we are definitely thinking about coming back in the future.

Quintessential beach stay
Beautifully built beach house steps away from a neighborhood path leading to road’s end beach access. Hike the knoll trail without using your car to reach the access trail. Enjoy the sunsets from the deck. The most fully stocked kitchen of any rental. The excellent WiFi makes working from here a breeze.

Oh my gosh, this beach house would make anyone gush. So well-appointed, so comfortable to live in, such a nice neighborhood/location, so spotlessly clean, so cute, so quiet, so spacious. I could not have been more pleased. Simply spectacular.

Mill House get away
As previous reviews have stated the house is perfect! We have stayed in many homes and they never include enough dish soap, laundry soap or supplies like baggies, foil, cling wrap. This home does, it is so nice to have everything you need including spices. Due to many allergies we have to cook every meal, it was so nice to have everything you need to really cook with, utensils and pots and pans. The home has beach toys and chairs our grandkids loved the toys and the arts and craft bench! Thank you for a wonderful stay and great memories with our family. It is just a nice short walk to the beach. The trail you take was fun for the grandkids they loved it!

Mill house was beautiful, bright and clean. We loved the layout of the house and it was perfect for our family. The short walk to the beach was easy, and we were close to everything in town. We spent a lot of time in the home and we just loved it! Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and comfortable home
Very nice home! The most well stocked rental I've stayed in. Couldn't believe how many kitchen accessories and appliances there were. Even basket full of fuzzy blankets for lounging. You will want for nothing! Only cons for us were closest beach access is " roads end" which is a very busy parking lot wayside (not a quiet beach like we'd prefer) and lack of ease taking the dog out to do its business. No grass on the property, empty lot across the way with grass but it was extremely muddy. There is a doggy area up the hill but for my 76 year old Mom it was a bit of a hike especially in the middle of the night. We did enjoy our stay though and my Mom is still talking about how much she loved how the home was decorated with all the cool antiques.

Beautiful home, nice neighborhood, relaxing ocean views. Excellent communication from property management and clean home with nice amenities. I do wish that the home had grass for a more dog friendly environment, but there was a dog potty station just up the road.

Brother-Sister Retreat
To sum it up in a word... perfect. House was clean and well stocked with those kitchen items you always forget to pack. It felt like someone's home and not a place where they moved all of the misfit items to. The only drawback was the living area needs more or brighter lighting. We're already making plans for next year.

Great beach getaway
Mill House had all the charm we expected it to have. Plenty of room for adults and children to co-exist. Anything you might need for meal prep and serving is there. LOVE the decor, pictures and antiques. Very well done. The sunset views were stunning and beach was close enough to walk too. The only negative was the hit and miss wi-fi.......having to unplug and reboot daily.

Beautifully Furnished and Decorated
Extremely lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood. Fully furnished with gorgeous antiques. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice ocean views from a distance. It is lacking nothing except an updated new Smart TV. Many stairs up to the living area. We were very impressed with the home and really enjoyed our stay!
