The home was well stocked and comfortable. The shower heads and water pressure were awesome! Everything was in good repair. We appreciated the staircase to the beach! Although the outdoor patio area is very small - the furniture was comfortable and abundant. Parking is tight - but we did manage to accommodate 4 cars (2 in drive and 2 along street). Unfortunately, the fridge although it appeared sparkling clean had an awful fish odor that filled the downstairs each time the door was opened. We tried, but were unable to eliminate with additional cleaning and air freshening. Even with the fridge, the perks were great and 5 of us are unanimous in agreeing that we'll be back!

We love me our stay! Parking was the only downside. It said 3 cars max and we had a hard time parking 2 vehicles. Hard to get in and out sometimes. Wish there was another tv in a comfortable spot. Loved the kitchen and patio! One room had low ceilings (slanted). Great view! Beach access was great, just hard once rope railing ended at bottom. Loved our memories!

We loved the stairs to the beach! We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area. The house was very comfortable. Beds were great!

Exactly that place and space we wanted to celebrate my 5 yr grandson who only wanted to dig in the sand and play near the water for his bd gift.

Great location and the view was stunning. Beach access couldn’t get any better; 36 stairs to sand and beach paradise. Loved the charm of the rental, especially the kitchen area.

To start VRBO has management companies that handle the actual rental property you rent. VRBO has a guarantee that your property is what is listed and clean. We have booked with VRBO many times and the property was then handled by HomeAway now with Meridith. I have had a problem two times with homes book with HomeAway out of many over the years. HomeAway both time's moved us and I would pay whatever it took to help solve a problem they didn't know about. Meridith refused to help move me only if I would pay for both rental locations. I will let you be the judge of our rental location. When we arrived we could not get in because the door lock was not working. After phone calls they remotely opened it to let us in. They said that the maintenance person would come over a fix it and I would not be able to leave till they did. We started to move in when discovered that the property had not been cleaned. Food, finger prints on all the appliances and spilled drink ever where. My wife started cleaning up not moving in having family showing up. After fourth five minutes, no maintenance person and discovered the beds where not changed l called back to see if I could be moved do to the problems and was told they would call the maintenance person, have housekeeping come by tomorrow if I want. I requested to be moved again and was asked do you want to make a new reservation. Then I asked what she meant and said I would have to pay for this location and rent a new one because they were all privately owned than people have personal different preference. Two hours later we had the man show up to fix the door. I had to help him find the remote signal box they hide. Took us a half hour. After several times it would not reset/work, he gave me the only key they had for the property and my wife read in the home guests log book that since August they have been having problems with they lock? I called back and complained and was offered cleaning to come over the next day. I reminded them I had the only key and that would require me to wait for cleaning people and waste more of my family time for our Christmas Vacation. The next day a person reaches out to me and asked how it was going and reviewed what had take place and she asked if I would take pictures and send them, more of my time. Told her I would and also told her both my wife a child was itching from the bed last night. After I sent the photos I was give 90 refund. It was never about money!

This house is good in many ways. We loved being right on the beach. I think they need a hand rail when going out the back door to the patio. The stairs are rather steep. The hand rails going down to the beach are not all secure. Yikes. The chairs were great.

The views from the deck are stunning. The house is cozy and slept 8 adults comfortably. Nice updated kitchen and conveniently located near shops and restaurants. Will gladly return in the future 🌞

It was a very nice house, direct beach access was fabulous. There were a few small maintenance issues that we alerted the agency of right away. The upstairs "bonus" room is a bit small for adults, better suited for children, very warm in that space even at night.

You cant stand up all the way in one of the bedrooms. The bathrooms had nasty scum build up. The upstairs was horrible access to anywhere. If you are going to bathroom you had to open bedroom door, step down then close the door to open bathroom door to get in. Very disappointed.

It was an easy process to rent out the property. The place was well kept and had all the amenities. Step down to the beach and enjoy a break from your life

Updated older home in great location. Kitchen is upgraded with nice amenities. Living room has great view of the beach. Bedrooms upstairs have lower ceilings, so watch your head. Master bedroom downstairs has a nice layout.

We really enjoyed staying here! Great views and very peaceful. The kitchen has it all and top notch appliances.

We decided to book a last minute stay at the coast in January, and knowing it would probably be cold and wet, we wanted a place where we could at least watch the ocean. This was it! The house was charming enough and my boys had a lot of fun in it, but for me, sipping my coffee in the morning while I watched the tide go out was the absolute highlight.

Great location and views. Close to town and beachfront access. The guest bedrooms' beds and decor need updating.

Enjoyed our stay, particularly the location right next to the beach. Great sand and ocean views! Parking is tight, even for 2 cars. Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pans, glassware, utensils, but we never did find salt, sugar, cooking oil. Our bad, I guess, for assuming such basics would be there. Everything else was clean and ready to go.

The house, view, beach access are all we’d hoped it would be. We’ll be back next year at the same time for year 2 of our new tradition.

This was the perfect place for a nice family weekend. Beach was beautiful and quiet, loved the private access to the beach!

Loved the comfort of the home and wonderful kitchen. View & access to the beach was excellent. Was wonderful to have a little play area by the deck/stairs for my young grandchildren to play in a sandy spot. Our three families each have SUVs and found we could not all park at the house due to the size of the parking area

This beautiful home is located right on the beach, and it’s toward the north end of the beach which is much less busy than the south end. The upstairs rooms are small but the views from the living room are amazing. The kitchen is very nice as well. The only downside is the parking, or lack of it. We had 2 cars and there was no possible way both would fit in the tiny driveway. We ended up having to park one of them down the street. Other than that, it was perfect!

Wonderful property to explore the beach from. House was well appointed for a family gathering. Look forward to staying again for our next visit.

Love the kitchen. Hate the parking. They state 3 spots, but that is if your vehicles are motorcycles. Be warned that a large vehicle will not fit and a low vehicle will scrape. Great beach front, easy access. Close to Safeway & Pig&Pancake. Super nice remodeled master bedroom. Smells a little musty. Needs a rocking chair. Definitely not set up for toddlers: open fireplace, steep stairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We have then continued our adventures every year thru Home-Away for several years. Ocean's Edge was everyone's favorite, right on the beach and being able to watch the ocean everyday, what a treat for people from Colorado who love our mountains but love to experience the ocean when we can. The house was just right for us, clean with all the amenities needed. We hated to leave but I have a feeling we will be back.
