We love Amelia Island and Fernandina. I(the mom) always rent the condo and the family comes and goes as their schedules allow. We had one HOT day and the others were pleasant with a good beach breeze. The kids enjoyed the pool but mentioned it needed more shaded areas to be more comfortable for the parents. We were blessed to be able to spend some down time together! Thanks!

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here! We are a family of five and there was plenty of space for everyone. The property was super clean, well stocked with lovely dishware and comfortable bedding, and just minutes from the beautiful beach. The best part is the magnificent ocean view right outside the living room window! We definitely hope to return!

We loved the spacious unit with fantastic views of the beach - felt like you were on the beach from inside the home. Very well equipt as well.
Liked being on the Omni property …but made it a little tough with limited food options … we ate at nearly all the restaurants but not always wanting a big meal and not being able to just order in food delivery was sort of a bummer… you were either going to the store and cooking yourself or going out for an involved meal. Other than that we really liked the experience and the unit!

Room to accommodate all having privacy, loved outdoor balconies …. Downtown area is lovely .. we’re we there longer May have rented bikes or done more … my second trip to Amelia & again found sharks teeth !

Place was perfect for the 4 of us. Close to the golf courses we wanted to play as well as a close drive to Jacksonville for the football game. Condo was very clean and everything worked perfectly. Would highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at the beach. It was a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. The upstairs balcony was perfect at night! There was enough space for all 7 of us and lots of amenities. The place was very clean, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen/laundry area, the only complaints were the mattress was missing from pull out couch which was a bit inconvenient, but they are aware. Also I wish there were some extra blankets for the beds as the bedrooms ran cold, even when I turned the air up. Definitely enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful location
We had a great trip! The property was well stocked with towels, kitchen needs, etc. location is beautiful and the pool/board walk was so nice! It was clean, spacious, and we all loved it! Only complaint is there isn’t a ramp so carrying all the things (food, luggage, etc) was a hassle. Make sure you have strong helpers :)

Great view and location!
The view and location were excellent. There were some issues with the unit. Firstly, we were informed that Beach Walker had elevators. Our building did not. That was problematic for us as we are in our mid seventies. The unit was a bit tired, with popcorn ceilings, broken furniture on roof top deck and small kitchen with not enough silverware. The table only had six seats although advertised to house 7-8 people. The laundry room was not clean. However, there was detergent for us and we bought more to leave there for future guests. We did not realize how small the master bath would be. We were disappointed there were no chairs in the bedrooms.
The smoke detector started beeping during one of our first nights there and we were unable to turn it off. We lost a night’s sleep. Destination Amelia did come the next day to fix.
Destination Amelia were great. They handled everything very well.
We just will not rent this unit again.

Amelia Island experience
With the exception of summer 2020, every summer we always looking forward to our annual family get together at the Amelia island for the past 16 yrs. This year, my son in law said the selection of one of the condos was the best.
The island remains the same years after years. Pristine beach and family atmosphere make this our favorite except Hawaii where my daughter was born. We feel safe letting our grandchildren exploring the beach and exercise daily so that was the many reasons for returning to the Amelia Island

We love staying here! The unit is clean, well maintained and is family friendly. The proximity to the beach is a quick and easy walk. Check in and check out process is easy and any communication is always very prompt.

Amazing Fall Break
This is the perfect property to vacation with another family. The bedrooms on separate levels provided perfect separation. The unit was clean and comfortable. Most of our time was spent at the beach and pool which was amazing! The property management was very responsive and helpful. We will be back again!

Marvelous view
We enjoyed our stay. It would be better for 6 adults rather than 8. The view can’t be beat. Parking is not convenient for loading/ unloading. Sometimes, parking is hard to find. It was a great vacation, and we enjoyed staying at Beachwalker.

Beautiful views
Overall, this was a great place with a fantastic beach location. The condo was spacious and well appointed, kitchen had plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, etc.
The grills are charcoal according to code. It would have been nice to know this in advance as who thinks to buy charcoal.
Very close walk to beach which is lovely and spotless. Very close to Omni. For those unfamiliar with Amelia Island, this complex is on south end of island and several minutes drive to restaurants and shopping area if you don't want to use the Omni facilities. The complex pool was large and looked wonderful but it was not heated so did not use. Beach towels included in condo as well as a few chairs and beach toys.
We'd definitely stay again if we needed a large place.
