This apartment has had great reviews. We also thinks its great. Had been very easy to communicate with Jud. Kay met us at the airport although we were few hors late with a late landing and long delay at customs. Thanks for waiting. Apartment was well furnished and close to restaurants, the beach, supermarket and downtown. Enjoyed our stay tremendously. Thanks Jud and Kay.

We had the good fortune to stay at Jud and Kay’s condo in La Costa for 35 days. The condo was clean and very well appointed with everything needed for longer stays. The king size bed was very comfortable. The basket with several choices of sunscreen was a nice touch. Jud and Kay were gracious hands on hosts, who made themselves available which included an airport pickup up.

Tidy, fully-equipped with everything we could have needed (and more). The complex is beautifully maintained by friendly and attentive folks. there were lots of great restaurants within walking distance, and a beautiful beach. The owners/hosts Jud & Kay went out of their way to help us get settled for our 10-day visit, picking us up at the airport, taking us to the grocery store for our first shopping, giving us local tips and recommendations that saved money & introduced us to places and activities we wouldn't have found ourselves. would we stay there again? absolutely - it was lovely!

Jud & Kay are very gracious hosts with the desire to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We were picked up at the airport and given a tour of the area which was great. The condo has all that you need and very convenient to shopping, restaurants and bus service. Would highly recommend. W & A

We had a a wonderful two weeks at this lovely condo. Set near the pool the condo is perfectly located and very well equipped. Lovely furnishings on the patio as well as inside. After a very long journey the comfortable bed was greatly appreciated! The owner was absolutely fantastic to deal with and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this condo for anyone seeking a self catering holiday in a beautiful setting. Looking so forward to our return visit next year!

This is a beautiful 1 bedroom, with plenty of room and a beautiful, fully stocked kitchen. Jud was really a great host, offering to pick me up and take me back to the airport, which is unheard of. (I don't think he can do this all the time but he had a few extra minutes and offered to transfer me because I have some disabilities). This ground floor unit has a beautiful back patio right next to a fantastic Hot Tub and Pool. You are close to everything. I took the bus everywhere, which are just a short walk out to the main road or you can always grab a cab. Bars and restaurants are everywhere, but I still prefer going into SJD to TEO'S or Just One More Bar and Restaurants. You will not be disappointed in the wonderful find.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a quick get away to Mexico to see the Day of the Dead and get some sun. First off, the condo. It was perfect for a quick get away. It's on the bottom floor of the complex with a large porch. It had a washer, dryer, dish washer, fans, and A/C, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and cart to haul everything. We never had an issue with it being too hot inside even though it was 95 outside. The condo was steps from the pool and hot tub (which appeared as if they hadn't been cleaned in some time, but that has nothing to do with the host, it was still nice). The complex itself was across the street from the hotel zone and within walking and biking distance to everything we wanted to do. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the beach from the condo. Jud was great. He offered to pick us up at the airport and when he arrived he was having a beer at the bar across the street from the airport. He gave us great instructions to find him. He drove us down to the condo but also gave us a tour if the area to orient us. He gave specific recommendations on places to eat, we tired them all and they were good. He gave us good ideas about where to see Day of the Dead displays. He had great advice about where to shop, what to avoid, etc. When he dropped us off at the condo, he told us he'd take us to a yoga class with him the next day if we wanted to. We decided to do that, and he picked us up and we had a great yoga session on beach (which he paid for). He dropped us off, then arranged to pick up back up on the day we left to take us to the airport, We were able to text him with any questions and he always was available if we needed anything (including bail money. ha, ha). Really great experience working with him. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a couple looking for a great place to stay in Mexico. The host was really great, and the condo was perfect.
