La nostra struttura dispone di 4 camere da letto. La camera da letto principale ha un letto king size in California, le altre hanno 2 letti queen size. Ci sono due letti matrimoniali per le persone più piccole che lottano per vedere chi riesce a dormire nell'ambita Crows Nest. Possiamo facilmente dormire 20. La cucina è fornita con le solite pentole, padelle, stoviglie e biancheria da cucina. Il patio esterno ha legno e una buca per il fuoco. Il ponte appena fuori dalle porte del patio in cucina ha una griglia con carbone nel garage. Questa casa è stata costruita da nostro figlio nel 2002. È una delle 3 case nella nostra fattoria di 200 acri. Si trova all'estremità di Martin Ridge, al centro della fattoria. La casa più vicina si trova sul retro della struttura a 1/8 miglia di distanza. L'unica cosa oltre questa strada senza uscita è la parte rimanente della fattoria, un branco di bovini da carne, una vista sul fiume di 6 miglia, miglia e miglia di colline e avvallamenti, notti stellate, sorgere e tramontare di luna e sole e molta natura creature selvagge dell'Indiana del sud. Il nome della nostra fattoria è Peaceful Hills, vieni a stare con noi e scoprirai il significato ....

Came for a weekend of relaxing. The fishing overall in Derby wasn’t great but it was great to breathe the fresh air and take in all the amazing views offered by this home. Our second time at the property was just as nice as the first.

This was our third time vacationing here. We just love it. Once again, we had a wonderful stay. It was so relaxing and beautiful. The house is clean and welcoming. The pool is fun and enjoyable for everyone. The kids (and adults) really enjoyed the cows as well as the stunning views.
Joann and her husband are amazing hosts and we appreciate all their help and answers to our questions about farm life.
We highly recommend this beautiful property.

We’ve been here with our six grandchildren in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024! We love this place. When we arrived this time, the oldest grandson (now 17) stretched out his arms and said, “It feels so good to be back!”

the pool was definitely a win! the views are beautiful. we have land close but cannot fit our whole family in that house, so this was perfect. feel like you are on top of the world

The home is beautiful with a stunning view. The home was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked, paper roducts included. The pool was a life saver, as it was in the 90's every day of our stay. Enjoyed the firepit and selection of tv channels. The owners were great to work with. Only downside is a few changes needed in listing. It is listed as 4 bedroom and crow's nest, then 5 bedroom and crow's nest with beds listed in a total of 6 rooms. We assumed the last. It worked out, but not as i had hoped. The kitchen would be mighty tight if you added another table and more chairs. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

This was out second time staying at this property and everything was wonderful just like the first time! The property is beautiful and very family friendly. We weren’t able to use the pool as much this time around due to cooler weather but we had fires in the evenings and even ventured out to Owensboro a time or 2. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive if needed. Our large family loves this house and will most likely be back for more stays in the future!

This was our families second time to stay at Martin Ridge. We love it here. Something for everyone, pool, fishing wonderful surroundings. The house was immaculate and it is equipped with everything you would have in your home. Joanne and her family are wonderful hosts. Met her grandsons and they are polite, respectful and wonderful boys. Already booked for next year!

He had a lovely stay, we had beautiful views and ample space. We really enjoyed our stay. We were able to go to another property the owner had to see the eclipse, since this home was at 99% totality. Joann when above and beyond and we have already discussed coming back.

The location and atmosphere couldn’t have been better. Seven men came together for our annual retreat. The space is beautiful and spiritual. We ate, drank, walked and sat by the fire. The view of the forest and river make this a unique and special place. We hope to come back again,

We had a great time fishing and hiking the area. The locals were all friendly and you could watch the moon rise over the Ohio River from the backyard. The owner was very helpful and the property had everything we needed to have a relaxing trip. We will definitely be returning.

The rental was great. Plenty of space for our family reunion dinner. We enjoyed the Ohio river view, and we had one evening at the fire pit for a marshmallow roast. The pool was closed (seasonal). A few tried the fishing pond out, and some of us walked around the property. Check in was great and the host always responded quickly. Everyone loved it.

First off, one cannot say enough about the views. Gorgeous. The home itself had excellent views from many rooms. Watching the barges on the river and the cows in the field was wonderful. Everyone in our group had a bed and we made two bathrooms work. The home was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was communicative from the very beginning. We all (a group of college friends) said we would be happy to stay there again sometime.

If we were any closer to Holiday World, we would have been in the parking lot! This location is excellent. While we walked over sometimes, it was also easy for a driver to take a group over and drop them off at the front. The kitchen had all we needed, including choices of coffee makers. My husband and I took our children and grandchildren, and there was a total of 12. We loved the big table and the big living room. While we opted not to sleep on the pull out bed, we put the Ottoman together with the sectional, and had a wonderful queen bed. Everything was very clean, and having 2 washers and 2 dryers (free) in the little building right next door was perfect. Thanks again for your beautiful place and I think we will be renting again!

This is our 2nd time staying here. The first was exactly 2 years ago. We LOVE the home, the pool, pond and the owners & the location!! I will recommend this to everyone!! The little Derby general store and the gas station was perfect along with the family dinning bar/restaurant! We could ride our rangers everywhere and it’s only about 40 minutes to Holiday World which we did spend a day at. THANK YOU so much for allowing us to spend another week at your property!!

This stay was the breath of fresh air my family needed. We gave the kids a good old fashion summer vacation with fishing, swimming, flying kites, cooking smores over an open bon fire, hiking, creeking, and exploring/appreciating the outdoors. We loved seeing the cows and taking walks along the roads where beautiful flowers bloomed! Check in was easy and the hosts were wonderful. The house was enormous with plenty of sleeping options and all the amenities that we needed to make our stay comfortable and easy. We hope to come back with an even bigger group to share the experience with next time!

I highly recommend this property in Derby, Indiana, for a family getaway. Beautiful home. A place to really get away. All amenities were as stated, with a full kitchen and comfortable bedding. The fire pit at night was awesome. Get out there, start the fire, witness the sunset over a miles long view of the Ohio River and wait for the stars to reveal themselves. We saw the International Space Station cross the sky while watching. Just spectacular. Our host visited to check on us and was wonderful to work with. We will visit again.

We rented the house for our annual Get-A-Way. We are a group of 4 couples that meet every year to get away from it all and just visit. This place was perfect. We had excursions during the day and cooked out and enjoyed conversation around the fire at night. It was clean, stocked and just as advertised. If you book this home take the time to visit the Overlook in Leavenworth for a meal and also the Blue Heron Winery in Cannelton. You won't be disappointed.

This piece of heaven was perfect for our annual get together with 2 other couples that are lifelong friends. The view is astounding - plenty of yard and walking opportunities. The house is laid out well for group gathering with plenty of privacy as well. We spent a ton of time at the firepit and patio out back and left very relaxed and thrilled that we found this location. Plan to keep it in our rotation of places we will return to.
