Talking with other people staying there.

The bed was uncomfortable, the pillow was so flat it looked like it'd been run over by a car. A guest came in at 230 am talking on his cell phone as if he was the only one staying there.

It was all the things that a budget hostel needed to be - clean and affordable with friendly staff. It was close enough to key locations for the taxi fares to be affordable. The busses were unreliable so I took taxis more often than I would have liked to go and from old san Juan, but the train to the University was very reliable, which was useful for that part of my trip.

None of the plugs in the private room worked. The private room's door locked solidly - but was a bit finnicky - if you didnt give it a good shove, it popped open on its own.

Staff was great. Friendly, helpful, organized. I just needed a place to crash after landing late evening and 1802 worked well.

Could be cleaner. Bed was just average.

I liked that there were a good amount of common areas to meet others and hang out.

Firstly, people just dont respect entering the dorms quietly if you are sleeping. Even at midnight. They kept turning the lights on, leaving them on. There was a man snoring and kept EVERYONE awake. Earplugs dont help. Kitchen was so gross with dishes in sink and i questioned how long food items were there, but even without that it just felt dirty. There was one shower that was pretty private, but there was always water on the floor and hair and it was GROSS. You cannot flush the toilet paper down the toilet so people put it in the OPEN trash can. Why dont they have a different, cleaner set up for this? Plus location just sucks. You need to uber to get anywhere walkable. Itd be over an hr walk to old san juan, which is doable for some, but questionable safety through certain areas.

las chicas que atienden muy formales, el lugar agradable, nada fuera de lo normal, bueno, bonito y barato, relativamente cerca a viejo san juan, hay un CVS y algunos cafes cerca

no me avisaron que tenia que llevar candado para los lockers y no alquilan, pero almenos habia un CVS cerca

Limpieza de dormitorio y baños. / Cerca de la parada de buses. / Cerca de cafeterías. / Cerca de Placita de Santurce. / A una cuadra de una estación de gasolina, la cual tiene un supermercado 24 hs.

Una de las recepcionistas (la Asiática) no fue simpática para nada. No me mostró los baños y la cocina. Tomó por sentado toda la información necesaria. Debería mejorar la atención al cliente. El resto del staff estuvo bien.
