Shower could have been more powerful

Valerie and John could not have done more to look after us. They were very kind, offering to help with luggage, telling us about the area and the town, and greeting us with tea and cake. It was wonderful to meet Bertie, their little dog (who's practically a record-breaking age!) - and we were asked if we were OK with dogs first, which was typical of their consideration. The room and bathroom were clean, cosy and private, and set apart from their own areas of the house. There is also a living area with TV for guests to use, but we didn't take advantage of that as we didn't really have time. We spent some time in Folkestone in the evening, and there was a tray of cocoa and biscuits left outside our door by the time we returned - a very nice touch! There was also plenty of tea and coffee, biscuits etc in the room. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a very wide choice, lovely homemade jam and marmalade, and all beautifully cooked. I had requested a vegetarian breakfast and Valerie did not disappoint. They even arranged a parking permit for us to ensure we didn't get a ticket. They are a lovely couple and we left feeling thoroughly spoilt.
