This property had everything we needed! The views over the mountains were just beautiful. We used the hot tub every day and enjoyed the view from there! Kitchen had everything that you could use to cook. Game room downstairs was lots of fun. Bedroom loft upstairs had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the mountains every morning.
Property host was so easy to work with and answered questions right away.
Close to lots of fun shopping as well as hiking and waterfall activities.
We would definitely go back again!

Our stay was exactly as I imagined from the listing. The cabin is well repented and the descriptions are spot on. The mountain road is gravel and intimidating to us non mountain people but we were totally fine and pros by the end. The parking spot at the top of the road is big enough for a full size SUV (Buick enclave for us) and the driveway has several other spots that are convenient to the cabin door. The cabin has everything you could ever need in the kitchen and we enjoyed the black stone flattop so much we are getting one now too!
Two rooms and a bathroom in the mail level and tons of room in walkout basement. Decks on both levels is also a big plus!
The loft room is as it sounds, open to the living room below and open to sound and light. I packed an eye mask to be safe when that sun would rise before I was ready to start the day. Glad I did but…I got up many of the days to watch the sunrise because it is truly sensational!!! Wow!!! I’m not a morning person but it was too beautiful to miss.
The views are incredible and we saw deer and a little bear in the wooded area along the mountain road.
The cabin is close to Helen and Cleveland which was nice for groceries and dinner. About 10 mins to either location.
Checking in and out was super easy and communication was very timely and professional. This is an owner that takes pride in your stay and has the resources to be sure you are more than 100% satisfied.

Stayed for a girls weekend. Had anything you could need, right down to usb charging on each night stand.

We were tucked away in a nice private neighborhood nestled on Yonah Mountain.
It was still daylight when we checked in, so we were able to view the property easily.
My husband and I took the master loft. The bed was so comfortable. The view of the sunrise every morning from our bed took our breath away.
Kitchen is a little small for our family of 8, but we maneuvered around it.
Enjoyed the hot tub the whole week we were there.
A little dissapointed that the grill was replaced with a blackstone griddle, but we made it work. We cooked for every meal either outside or in the kitchen. We never had to waste our budget eating out.
Our kids are 15-22, and they enjoyed the game room every night.
Our family of 8 had such an amazing time. We definitely recommend this cabin for your stay.
The couple of times I had questions for the owner he responded in a timely manner and made sure our needs and questions were taken care of.

Everything went well for the most part as we celebrated a 70th birthday. Weather could have been better, but we made do with games, movies, campfire s'mores, etc. Great views and enjoyed our family getaway (2 parents/2 sons and daughter-in-laws/1 grandchild/2 dogs).

Pros: We visited Helen to relax with views and also play pool and air hockey. The views were great! Kitchen was aptly set up and we enjoyed the firepit. The bedrooms were great and as described. There was updated internet and USB chargers everywhere, which is a plus. Ping pong was just fine. Plenty of towels. Fireplace worked well.
Needs improvement and updating; pool table is in need of replacing. Air hockey is in need of replacing. We made it work. There was cigarette butts and other trash by the firepit and there were crumbs of food from prior residents lining the stove sides.

My extended family had a wonderful weekend and the views are truly breathtaking. (Once we were able to see them - it rained the entire weekend until the morning we had to leave!) The owner was fantastic and his communication and directions were top notch. I note just just a couple downsides -- the cabin was very dusty and the living space is smaller than it appeared in the listing. But all and all, a wonderful weekend and we will likely be back!

Beautiful views from this property that can't be beat. Proximate location to Helen Ga. Do yourself a favor and stay here for the views and relaxation then go visit Helen during Octoberfest right down the road. Great times for all!

This was an amazing property. Cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. The views were the best!!! There was no comparison to what they call the scenic drive. View from the many windows and balconies were so much better. The game room kept all of us entertained every night after our many fun dinners in the town of Helen. Definitely recommend Bald Eagle Lodge.

Beautifully decorated cabin & plenty of room. Amazing view outside and close to Helen! All beds were comfy & cozy! The only glitch: the kids were bummed that the air hockey table doesn’t work, other than that it was great stay and would absolutely book again.

Magnificent view. Plenty of room for us though 3 women in the kitchen is always crowded. Not much outdoor space for kids to play but they had a blast in the basement. Cleveland and Helen have some nice restaurants. Lots of local places to go hiking.

The property is true to the pictures. The view is AMAZING! Our family of eleven had plenty of room and privacy. The main level living area, game room, decks, and fire pit provided an abundance of area to gather and entertain. Helen and other area attractions are within minutes. This was a perfect week and setting
to have all of our children and grandchildren together. All age levels were happy and entertained.

The views were incredible and there was so much to do at the cabin itself which helped a lot when we didn’t have great weather one of the days. Would definitely stay here again :)

This was our third stay in the area, and the second property of Alan's that we stayed at (previously we stayed twice at Soaring Hawk). I can't say enough good things about the property, the owner, or the area. The view is absolutely amazing! When we arrived on Sunday evening we discovered the hot tub was not functioning properly. We reached out to Alan, and first thing Monday morning their housekeeper Kim (who is so sweet and does such a fantastic job making each property feel welcoming at check-in) was at the property to troubleshoot. When that didn't work, they called in their hot tub guy and he had it working by noon. We couldn't have asked for more! I can't recommend this area or these cabins enough.

This house was very clean, well stocked, and designed very well. So many mountain rentals have so much clutter but this house was decorated nicely. The landscaping was very nice as well. Plenty of area to walk around the yard, the fire pit area was very welcoming and plenty of parking. The drive up to the house was not bad like I read in other comments. To get nice views, you have to be on top of the mountain. The beds were comfortable…some pillows need to be replaced. Anna Ruby Falls was close with a paved walk. The town of Helen was 15 minutes away. I highly recommend this house!

The home was very clean and was as seen in pictures except that the kitchen is very small...but well stocked. The master loft bathroom has a rain shower head. This makes it impossible for a woman to take a shower without getting her hair soaked...so I
had to shower in the main floor bathroom. The only "surprise" was that before arrival we were told that our dog could not go downstairs where all the games and pool table are located. We spent a lot of time playing pool...so this was not a pleasant thing to find out. And if you planned to sleep on that level...your dog would not be with you at night. The description of this house should include that information. The owner was readily available to answer questions during our stay.

We found the house to be clean and cozy. We were there for a business planning retreat. Our priorities are enough sleeping space and bathrooms for 7 women. We also need a large table and nice seating. The only issue we had was the kitchen layout was very small. The pictures make the living and kitchen area look larger than they are. We still were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time! The views from the house were absolutely spectacular. Pictures cannot do it justice. The house was very comfortable for all of us. The instructions and information provided to get to and into the house were detailed and got us where we needed to be. Would highly recommend!!

Did not want to leave. Amazing view and sunrises. Cabin was so lovely and so clean & comfortable for all 4 of us. Enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Well stocked home and nice towels and linens. This listing is everything! The views are incredible, it's located close to so many fun things to do even besides downtown Helen, and it's big enough and comfy enough for a very large group. We had an amazing time and are already talking about rebooking in the future.

We have stayed in the Smoky Mountains many many times and this may be one of the best views we’ve ever had! In spite of the heat wave, we loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings and in the hot tub under the stars at night. And the house was nice and cool inside. It was amazing to wake up every morning to the view from the master bedroom - just spectacular!
The house was extremely clean and comfortable. Our daughter and grandkids stayed in the lower bedrooms and we absolutely couldn’t hear a thing from our room. Complete privacy and it worked perfectly for us. We all had a great time in the game room.
The location was great too - way up the mountain and yet 10 minutes from Helen and restaurants. The host has a very extensive book of activities in the area and his restaurant recommendations were very good. We booked a table at the Monteluce Winery at sunset one evening for a special night out and it was beautiful!
All in all, it was a great week - would love to go back in cooler weather and enjoy the fireplaces, fire pit, etc. Thank you, Alan, for a wonderful vacation.
