Limpio, buen serivicio en la cocina y la ubicacion
En la recepción un tipo algo apático, medio gordito sin descriminar porque no se su nombre . El chico delgado era más comunicativo. Fui a descansar una noche y la cama aparte de ruidosa, incómoda, termine más cansada que descansada. Un ruido toda la noche que no se de que tipo de máquina era pero fue pararnos, desayunar e irnos porque nada que ver. Ni pudimos irnos de tour por lo atrofiados que nos sentiamos de espalda. Poco iluminación en los cuartos. Todo limpio no hay queja de eso.

Best free breakfast in Central America! Eggs beans rice toast banana peanut butter jam coffee tea juice, amazing ! reception and kitchen staff lovely and helpful. great kitchen for cooking, lots of hobs and everything clean. AC in the rooms saved us
only down side, the shuttle driver was outrageously rude. nearly drove off without us from the waterfalls having told us the wrong meeting point and we were not a minute late. someone needs to have a word with this guy

The breakfast was very nice and it was great to have A/C in the rooms.
The shared bedrooms were incredibly small and the staff was not very helpful in giving guidance for our stay. We could only pay cash and the free shuttle to the hot springs (which is excessively used for advertising) only goes once a day.

Quite disappointed by the rudeness of one of the reception staff, which was a real shame. Not experienced this in 3 months of travel. There was also many passive-aggressive signs around the hostel which were quite unnecessary.

Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent with 5 min walk to beach and to the national park.
We had a big SUV but they found a good place for us to park.
When we asked about Cocoverde national park as we were not sure if we should do the day trip, they told us it is a beautiful place and we should if we had the time. We did and it was one of the best experiences of Costa Rica for us.
We did not have much of a view from the room. We asked for a second floor but they did not have any for the whole duration of our stay.

The breakfast was great and the outdoor seating area really relaxing. The dorm room was clean and good locker space.
Outside disco noise was very loud Saturday and Sunday until 1am. The shower not hot but the manager fixed it. Also this was the only place I had to give a deposit for a room key and a towel and you must have the exact amount. Best to book day trips through Posh Backpacker.

You can’t open the window in dormitory rooms, very heavy air, ac on but not always suitable though.,Very noisy music from bars around till the late night. Probably because of the weekend stay.

The property had great location to La Fontuna.
The shuttle service was wonderful as we were able to see more of the area for a great low price and the driver was very punctual. The staff at this hotel was wonderful.

The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. All the tours can be booked at the reception and for 20 $ you will get a unlimited shuttle service to five destinations around the volcano for the duration of your stay. The room was clean, the breakfast was good (classic Costa Rican breakfast) and the location of the hotel is nice as well.
On weekends it can be a little bit noisy because in the area there are some restaurants and bars which play loud music. But for us it was ok.

the 2 nights that i stay the air conditioning started leaking around 2 am, air condition made some noise and then started leaking, make drop noice onto the floor,table and bed, i complaint the first night then supposedly they fix it then the second night leaking again, it was uncomfortable to sleep with the noise.. other than that, everything else was great..

The free shuttle to the hot springs is a really nice touch and a good way to meet others from the hostel. Staff were really helpful!
the laundry was a bit on the expensive side and the clothes didn’t come back that clean/smelling nice
