Amazing Game viewing with really talented Ranger and Tracker. Loved the tendered camp set up.
Plunge pool in the honeymoon tent was a little disappointing as was just a repurposed non functioning jacuzzi

Everything was exceptional and beyond what we expected in terms of accommodations and service.
Tents were very well designed. All staff were so professional and attentive. Game drives were awesome. Food and drinks were delicious.

The staff, food - game drives and spa are absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to go back. The knowledge of our game driver and tracker on safari was outstanding. I loved the pool it was heaven on the warmer days!

The absolute best part of our first visit to South Africa. An experience we can't forget. Warm welcome, our trackers were beyond amazing, our villa was breathtaking with a plunge pool and cabana to soak it all in, and wildlife right outside. We loved everything about it. The boma night that was arranged for our last evening sealed this deal. We spotted giraffes and zebras on route to the villa. This is where the magic started and it continued throughout our stay. Absolutely everything about this safari was well worth every penny. Traveling from Canada with our Infant, we ended our vacation with this trip and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Thank you to all the staff for showing us what living a fulfilled life is all about. This is as close to wildlife and nature as we could get and it was perfect! We can't wait to visit again for much longer.
2 game drives a day, wake up calls available, excellent meals, villas spoke to Africa's culture, outdoor shower was a must, plunge pool overlooking the terrain with giraffes strolling through the area. Wow!

Great staff and beautiful and secluded tented camp
Coffee could be stronger especially on rides. Shower temp difficult to control - either cold or burning.
Bacon at breakfast was really not good - I would suggest streaky bacon

The safari rides, bush and animals
The ranger was unable to communicate in English and had no knowledge of animals, nature or wildlife to share. Dinners overrated and food undercooked, no customer service and tented accommodations was dotted with mould, chipped shower and unkept accommodation.

The lady with squint eyes at reception was really unmotivated and arrogant by arrival. Didnt know where our tent is, couldnt answer our questions right, gave wrong information to timetables. This isnt what you expect in that range. But all the other staff was nice.

I loved every second at Thanda. The staff goes above and beyond to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The first evening they set up at the bomb for dinner which was absolutely beautiful. The next morning we had breakfast at the viewing deck which was also amazing. Chef Brian's food is exceptional, delicious. The animals was amazing. Followed a pride of lion on one of our game drives which was super amazing. The game drivers and trackers are very knowledgeable not only about the animals, but the fauna and flora and birding. They made every effort to find the animals, we had the privilege of find elephant, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, lion and giraffe not to mention the antelope. Great place for exclusivity and getting in touch with nature.
There is a bit of maintenance needed on the decking and the pool, other than than everything was excellent.
