Parking on the property was good. The restaurant and bar were good. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The hair dryer is in a difficult-to-use place - maybe someone on the team should try using it to see it from a guest’s point of view. Understand hairdryers might be appropriated but is there a better way?

V convenient location, good parking, nice views from dining room. One of the night receptionists very helpful when I returned late to hotel from working late and needed something to eat, but no room service available or snacks to purchase offered to give me his own crisps!

Floors and carpet in bedroom not as clean as should be. Having ironing board and iron on inside of bathroom door means board gets wet with steam. Door key card didn’t work 3 times meant lots of trips back to reception.

Walk to room I emailed at time of booking to ask for a room close to reception as my hubby is an amputee, given very last room at the end of a long corridor

Not sure breakfast offer is quite as good as it once was…but it’s still a great place to stay.

Third time staying, place is lovely with spacious rooms. Great breakfast.

Rooms are far too hot for me personally with no air-con. Pillows are uncomfortably firm also with one too low but two is too high.

Great Breakfast but not realising that hot selection finished at 9.30 on weekdays when we assumed it was the same time 10.30 on the weekend.

it was clean and convenient to town

it was way too warm in the room even with radiator off and windows open. tried to get dinner on our last night. stood waiting to be seated but nobody came. saw guy drying cutlery - he saw us but didn’t react. when he finished he just walked away into the back. we left. that said we are there on our first night and the waitresses were really lovely so swings and roundabouts
